Good Morning Fockers!

Popped in to say "Hola!" Sorry I ducked out on Spanish night. My Dbro and his family stopped by and well I got hung up by Bejeweled. Stupid, stupid game. I hate that I suck at it!

Andy's home today - so we'll probably hang out with the kids in the yard or bike riding. The weather is beautiful here.... 78 today. We've got rain later this week... ick! I'm sure I'll be at Target sometime today and hitting the grocery store. Seems like a nice day for some grillin' and chillin'!

Good morning everyone! I survived the night! (not that I thought I wouldn't....) My throat is SO sore though. I think it's from the anesthesia tubing but I'll keep an eye on it. I took my temp as soon as I got up, it was normal. Took my antibiotics and now I'm here. All the boys are still sound asleep.
SD was very sweet and moved downstairs to the guest room for me. He has a queen sized bed and it has a nice firm mattress. I was afraid I'd be tossing and turning and keep Bob up so I slept in his room. He's so sweet.

Glad you're fine Mel, as V said your throat is probably because of the tubing!

I'm up, I'm up!! Trying to decide what to do first today. Need to... color hair, grocery shop, self-tan, read by the pool, vacuum, do laundry, work out. Tough call. Think I'll DIS and then decide.

Both girls are out playing with friends, Dave and I did some gardening and that's been it!!!

We had a nice evening. We had D & Luis over and we went to Nathan's for dinner. On the way back we stopped in PC Richards are finally going to take the plunge and buy our TV, tomorrow I think! So this week we should be getting the new furniture too! D and Luis brought us cupcakes from Crumbs bakery- HOLY MOLEY they were yummy! They bought us 2 sampler packs and there are like a million so we have cupcakes for days!

Anyways I'm hyere for a bnit, I dl-ed some new games so I will be popping back in between playing Bejeweled twist and posh boutique. Those silly games get me every time.

Sounds like you had a really good time last night. Good Luck on getting your TV today! And what's this Posh Boutique you speak of? Sounds like a fun game. Like I need it. LOL

I just ordered my DGD a Dell online for $399 plus shipping and tax! Hers was not fixable and we got over $400 back so basicly for about $60 she's getting a much better laptop!!Of coursethe other DGD is fuming!!!

Just got back from my friends house. We brought a bottle of wine and when we left I realized that we only had one glass left. this would have been fine except I was the only one drinking it!!!

And what I said was: I would gladly trade my bottle of vicodin for a large margarita and a hot guy named Paulo.

Just haning around the house today. Linds is at church with my dad. DR is watching Spy Kids on the Disney Channel. I should be doing laundry or even cleaning this computer room but I don't wanna. LOL

I've been thinking of getting another dog. We already have 2...a beagle mix who is about 13 years old and a black lab who is 10. I keep thinking of smaller dogs but they truly are high maintence pooches and that is really not something I want right now. So, I was thinking maybe another black lab, or even just any color lab. Its getting to be summer time so training a new puppy wouldn't be so bad since its warm and I won't have to worry about freezing to death when doing those midnight potty breaks. LOL I swear having a puppy is just like having a kid! We'll see though. The kids will be leaving to go with their dad for the summer so I might wait a little while longer. Plus, we already have 2 dogs and adding another just might not be good right now. We'll see though.

OK...I'm going to try to get motivated to clean this room! Have a good Sunday all!

I'm feeling really good. I'm surprised they can do something like that to you and then send you home in a day.
They did it laproscopically so it was only 3 little holes in my tummy. They're sore but not painful. (you know?)

So glad you're feeling so good, Mel. I know what you mean about the hospital thing. I had major open surgery and only stayed one night! That was just crazy!

Eric had his gallbladder taken out laproscopically and said that the worst pain came at about day #3, so make sure you take it easy today.

Well, just got home from church. It's not thunderstorming here. It's supposed to turn cold and we may even get some snow tomorrow! Yesterday it was 60ish and sunny and DD7 even got a little sunburn on her cheeks! I'm ready for the weather to decide whether it's spring or winter! Just pick one and stay that way! I hate the back and forth thing we get every year at this time. It wreaks havoc on my sinuses!

Not much planned for this afternoon. I need to run to the grocery and Home Depot to buy paint. I've hired a sitter for tomorrow so that I can paint my family room/kitchen. I've got some more cleaning and prep work to do for that today too.

Lori- We have a shepherd mix and he's such a great dog. He's snuggly and loyal with me and playful with the kids. He never leaves my side. Good luck deciding!

We are having a chill day again today. I went to brunch with a friend and did some Easter shopping. Now I'm ready for a nice nap.

Lori we got a minature Shihz Zhu and he is adorable . He is th boss of our other dog a very large pit bull It is so funny to see them together Max attacs poor Snoop all the tim literally pull the food dish from under his nose and Snoop lets him ! Itoo thought little dogs were a pain but he isn't !!

I'm watching the end of the race. I managed to make some chicken for dinner. DON'T get all Momma on me either! I told Bob that if he didn't let me make the chicken I'd be very angry. I can stand just fine, so no reason I can't stand and cut up chicken and bread it! It's waiting to go in the oven now. I'll let Bob put it in.

They are now forecasting 10 inches of snow for us by tomorrow night! What on earth is that all about???

I'm so sick of winter!

After church today we ate lunch at a friends house. I did some more yard work and came in to find my DH asleep on the couch!! No, its ok. He had a rough night sleeping - he has a sinus infection and didn't sleep well last night.
Holy Moley! Easter is in a week and I don't have anything for their baskets!! I am usually a planner but Dh being out of work adds so many unknown variables to the equation. Guess I will have to go shopping this week for everything. Hopefully there is enough left.

To those who are getting snow ~ hard to believe but i am somewhat jealous. Being from the south we only get snow once every 5 years and even then it only lasts a few hours. We hope to take the kids one year somewhere to see real snow.

hi! Sorry i missed out on language night last night. Instead marc and i went for a run and then i watched practical magic.

Marc just left. at lease this time he should be home on wednesday or thursday instead of being gone for 2 weeks. And the good part is that now I can be more productive! homework, cleaning, Disboards. I always get more done when hes not around.

to everyone that has to go through an onslaught of snow! I dont know if I could ever handle that. I completely enjoy my spring and summer times.

Off to be productive and get some work done before the hectic week starts all over again. Marc came home for 3 days and left again but unfortunately left 2 weeks of laundry behind.

I'm here, Mel. We've had a few thunder-boomers, but nothing too bad. I think the severe stuff has missed us. It's pouring out though.

We ran to Chili's for dinner and then to Home Depot to buy paint. I'm all ready to start my project now! We just about got soaked running into the restaurant though.

Hi all. I'm too tired to quote everyone. It's been a BAD day.

It started out really well. We picked up Jim's sister about 10:30 - 10:45 to got to Dave and Busters. We had a very nice lunch and then went and played the games. Everyone was having a ball. Jimmy won a bunch of tickets and got a bunch of stuff he doesn't need, but he had fun. We are getting ready to leave and WE CAN'T FIND JIMMY. I became one of those hysterical mothers running all around looking for him, screaming his name, and can't find him. The staff was great. They locked the doors so no one got in or out. An off duty police officer found him sitting at the top of the stairs. He did exactly what we have told him, which is to stay put and we would find him, but my thoughts went 1700 different directions. I profusely thanked the off duty cop and the staff and got him the heck out of there. What we thinkied happened was he and I were walking together and I stopped to turn to stay something to Jim and he kept walking. He knew we had to go up the steps to leave and he realized I wasn't there he just stopped and waited. The off duty cop said a couple of people approaced him and asked if he was lost, but he wouldn't talk to any of them. He only talked to the cop after he showed him his badge I calmed down after 3 cigarettes and was able to drive home.
