Hi everyone! Nothing new going on here. I've been trying to stay busy b/c I've been a little stir crazy lately with the weather and not getting out much. I need some sunshine.

We are going to Myrtle Beach Friday for Spring Break. It's supposed to rain a few days while we are there, but I'm just glad to be out of town and having fun. Two of my sisters will be there and one of my nephews will babysit so we can all go out dancing.

Have a good time! We had a great time a couple weeks ago even tho it rained! There's so much to do there.

Wierd/Sad/Scary day at work. One of the divisions is a financing division, in these carppy economic times they have foreclosed on some folks. One guy wandered into the main building, and our crack security force didn't stop him, he plopped himself down in a conference very close to where I am located, like 20 or 30 feet. He was wearing a long trench coat, was very dishelved looking. He demanded to see the owner (we are privately owned) because he had lost everything, his house, car, everything when the financing division foreclosed on him. Cops were called, portion of the building was put in lock down. Thank goodness it ended peacefully, but imagine if he was more off balance and had a weapon.

Just a very sad sign of our times.

Hi guys... a very quick fly by as I have to get the kids to bed. We just got back home from County "Reflections"" results.... ( a fine arts competition for students in all 50 states through local PTA's... )

Sarabeth Placed Second. I am happy for her.. but she is Dissapointed... as she put it" I HAVE FAILED... I HAVE NEVER FAILED BEFORE".

There is some truth there... she has always gone to State for her Musical Composition entries... But she got sloppy this year and got tired of re-recording her entry... so she "Settled".

She is so mad right now... she does not even want to think about next year. Eventually that will change... and this time.. I know she will try harder.

2nd in the County is still good. But she is spoiled as she has NEVER failed to advance to State.. and the last two years she won State awards.

Katt Ellie always used to win everything, get chosen first etc etc so the first time she lost she was in floods of tears but she needed to learn she couldn't always win so although horrid it was good for her!

What details, TE? We went, we rode, we swam, we ate... we met friends, we rode some more, we ate gummy worms, and we got stuck on EE and had to walk 13 flights of stairs to get down. The end.

I'm thinking of writing on my blog, but honesly, I think I'm too lazy. I've been thinking about all the moving and school stuff, so the trip was a nice diversion. Writing about it is work. And I'm tired of work.

We have a showing today. I'm hoping good things. We found a house that Kirt and I really like on-line. He wants to go look at it today. He says if he likes it he may ask his boss to buy it and sell it to us when our house sells.

Those Planned Sit-downs at a certain time don't work for us either. There is always the "Counter Service Only plan" I think that's an option now.. isn't it

I noticed my typo when you quoted me. It should have said we normally don't do a sit down every night. We got such a good deal with the DP this year that we have 7 credits to us, but we are using 2 for HDDR, and doing mostly lunches or early dinners to get out the eat of the day

I'm listening to "shopaholic and baby" book on CD (it's great!)...........and of course the narrator is British as it's based in London, so I'm finding myself saying "wow---that's so posh!" "isn't it FAB??"

What friends?

I met JenV, Jen M, Mel, Angela, Z and Yani!
I had a margarita with JenV and JenM, then we rode Maelstrom together.
I met Angela, JenM, and Mel for lunch at Cosmic Rays and Mel's favortie- funnel cake.
I met Z, Mel, and Yani for Illuminations and a slushie.
Mel and I pretty much hung out the rest of the time together except when I was too tired to party with her, Z and Yani at Raglan Road. We did Wishes and Lapus onthe beach one night and had dinner with the evil sept sisters at 1900 PF.

What type of gummy worms?

Mel's. She's a gummy worm addict. She kept slipping them to my kids on dark rides.

What eating? (fav restaurant??)

I would say Ohana was my favorite meal, but the fun we had at 1900PF was the best.

What happened to Everest??

We rode EE on our DVC magical fast passes, and got in line to ride again. When we got to the top, where the broken track is, we sat there for about 15 minutes. It was so hot, we were burning. They sent CMs to come let us out and walk us down the steps inside the ride. They gave us more fast passes (whoopie) and we left. We ate lunch and went back to ride again. That time was uneventful and it was still our favortie ride.

Oh come one. You have to at least tell us about getting stuck on Everest!
