We had a loooooong day. But a really fun one! We had to take 2 buses to get to Ikea but it was really easy and the 2nd bus lets you off at the store front so I can't complain!
I brought the camera so I could take pics of prospective furniture but ended up taking some others as well. So why not share?!
We first ate the very awesome and cheap ($1.99) breakfast platter! Total for breakfast was around $7!!

Thats downtown Brooklyn through the windows of the food court.

KC had some juice and I had fun taking a picture of it and getting the window reflection in it. I was feeling artsy- sort of.

We wandered our way around the endless showroom and found the piece we really wanted when we first saw it...

I wanted it in black and no red doors or whatever. BUT it won't fit any TVs over 37 inches and KC wants a 42 inch. so we looked on....
we then found this...which is the same line but a bookcase...which will hold any size TV on it.

There's also a smaller one we may get 2 of and put together but I'm undecided on that. We also found some skinny shelves that we could put next to the bookcase to make it more like a wall unit.

Tired of looking at furniture yet? OK here's KC and our new lamps...

All we ended up actually buying was: the 2 square lamps, a tea strainer, some S hooks, a table runner and bulbs for the lamp.
So we did walk around for a few hours and KC wanted to go back up for some lunch and who am I to say no to cheap food! So off we went. We had the Swedish meatballs of course! and KC tried some sparkling drink that was yummy.
Now anyone who saw my TR saw that we found this on our WDW travels and found the name really funny....

So you see why this cracked me up, and we had to try it!

We ended up taking it to go tho, I'll have to let you know later if it was good or not.

We also noticed something we missed during breakfast...the awesome view from the other end of the food court! This is what we could see:

Yep Lady Liberty chillin' near Ikea, who knew!? Cool huh?????
So when we got to the checkouts we succumbed to the pressures of the Swedish and bought some darn meatballs too...oh and cinnamon rolls just cause they were huge and really cheap. Can ya tell I like a bargain?

Anyways we bussed it home and here I am, boring you all to death and entertaining myself with "My Trip To Ikea by KatGarcia".
The End.
