I slept for exactly 4 hours since 3am yesterday. Not cool. I was up reading and listening to my ipod praying for sleep from 5am-9am. ANd KC is still snoring away in bed right now. Darn him.

Ugh, honey - feel better.

It only got up to about 50 here yesterday. we get the stinking sea breeze every spring, when everyone is warm, We are freezing in the wind by 2 p.m.

I'm sorry! It wasn't sunny, but I was warm.

I told the BF last night I needed a break. He was heartbroken. I felt bad because i know how he feels as I've had many guys do the same to me. I was kinda blah all last night, but I'm fine. I prayed to God that he heal him and help him.

They just must be looking for something else.

As I was typing that I thought this. All except Wade would be ready to go.

Hmmf... The feedback from the first agent was, "Lots of house showed ok, not in my buyer's top 3." How rude.

The only thing I can think of is that they didn't like the pain, but that's not something that would put it out of the running, I don't think. It's immaculate, dern it! They just must be looking for something else.

Our realtor said he would call and ask what the deal was so if it was something we need to fix before the weekend, we can.

Some people are just picky? I was watching House Hunters and some lady was complaining that the bathroom cabinets were ugly. They looked fine to me.

I guess staging is everything. Minimalize everything, remove personal stuff like family pictures, make sure there aren't bold colors and that windows or fireplaces are focal points and the furniture is arranged to them. At least those are some HGTV tips.

Mel- WTG on the exercise program this morning. I had to bail on mine this morning and was not happy about it. DD11 was home sick with tummy issues, so I was home getting her settled in for the day before work. on the week countdown!

Sorry you have sick kiddos. It puts a crimp in the workouts, doesn't it!? Then it's twice as hard to get back! I almost didn't go this morning, but I'm glad I did. DS11 is now complaining of a sore throat...

I had a wonderful weekend with Dr. Belle. We didn't do anything terribly exciting - except eat Bosnian food! - but we get along well just sitting and chatting and hanging.

Glad you and Dr. Belle had fun! I want to know about the Bosnian food! I love exotic cuisine!

Mel isn't ready for vacation, as far as packing goes. She's doing mental excersises too. She cooked breakfast for dinner.

I don't have any plans for this weekend. I told my soon to be X-SIL she could come over on Saturday if she wanted. Things have gone way south with my Brother.

Lazy day here today, been to the supermarket managed to buy Jess 2 pairs of jeans as they were reduced from £10 to £2 so I couldn't not buy them I think I'll go and answer some questions!!!​

I'm hoping that DH goes to work today, but he was up half the night coughing. He sounds awful. I just hope I don't catch it! I'm trying hard to stay away from him though.

Tonight #2 has a soccer game and #1 has lacrosse practice. I literally have to be two different places at the same time. Should be interesting. It would be alright if I knew the lacrosse coach would stick around until I can get #1...but he'll leave. So I'll have to do some fancy shuffling.

I spent last night changing my hair color. I used a color remover to lift the dark brown and applied a light brown... but wound up with medium brown. Not quite what I wanted, but not bad looking, either. Further experimenting will ensue.

so, i worked last night, but now have to stay up all day cuz my mom has a md appt. it's okay. i haven't had to do it in a long time. hopefully it will allow me to sleep tonight. i just watched my dvr lost!!! OMG!!! that's all i have to say about that (said in my best forrest gump voice)!!

Oh boy... in the past 45 minutes or so, I've developed a very sore throat and aching neck glands, and I feel hot and chilled at the same time. NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

Good grief, what a day! I got up with SD at 6. Got him out the door at 7 am and then grabbed 30 more mins of sleep. Got up with Gus and got him ready. Bob was a darling and drove him to school for me. I got the entire main floor done (mopped, hoovered, dusted and both bathrooms!) Then I went to the gym. I wasn't going to go because the kids wanted to swim tonight and I thought that would be enough of a workout. (LOL) However, I felt guilty, I did promise myself I'd do 3 days a week!!! I went and biked 8 miles on Level 4. I usually do Level 2 so even though I did 2 less miles than Tues and Wed, it was harder!

Then I showered with strangers again (Dawn!) and got a coffee at the bookstore. It was a blackberry creme latte (at Borders) and if you have one near you I think you should RUN there and get one! Yummy!

I had pork cooking in the crock pot all day today for pulled pork sandwiches so dinner was pretty much done. I got both boys from school and then ran home to finish dusting my bedroom. We had dinner and now Gus is telling me his throat is SORE. His ears hurt too. Poor kid. So, I'm working at the library in the morning and Bob will hang out with Gus at home till I get back about 10:30 am.

Good grief, what a day! I got up with SD at 6. Got him out the door at 7 am and then grabbed 30 more mins of sleep. Got up with Gus and got him ready. Thank you every one for the kind words and hugs, I really needed them yesterday. I thought I really needed to do something to cheer me up, so as you can see by my ticker we are officially going to Ip-Dip, I paid off the room today. The trip is Oct. 9 -12th and I can't wait to see everyone. Jodi said some fockers might be there, if you see Bill and I please say hello.

I feel better now. I just got home and Kirt told me the realtor said our house was beautiful, loved the paint, loved the 3 car garage, etc... but the reason it wasn't in the top 3 is because they wanted to live in another area. So, I feel much better.

I worked hard to make sure it was perfect. I did all the things Z said, so I was frustrated. I'm glad it's not something that would put other buyers off.

For fun, I'm attaching the pics I took of the house for the website. I plan on deleting them before I leave, so don't quote them, please.

Whats an ip dip?

It is a word made up by Montana Disney Fan aka Buzz, he used to do TR's here, he now does them at the cloud in my siggy. His definition is:

"Ip-Dip is a person who does somthing stupid or annoying while at Disney"

Although it was not just at Disney, he and his wife well kids too call each other Ip Dips when they do something annoying. It started out as a joke last year, he and his family were going to WDW in Oct. 2008 and told people to come and join them. Well about 12 of us took him up on it from Enchanted. We had dinner at the Biergarten, watched Off Kilter in the Canadian Pavillion, then watched Illuminations. We had a great time, so some of us are stalking them, uh I mean following them down there again .

Hey Dawn. The realtor bumped their head. Your place looks sensational. (I have sold three homes of my own so far, an you are doing everything right.)

If you get a chance before Sat. You might want to add three our four plants (potted so you can keep them) and a neutral picture on that one whit wall in the bedroom. In every house I sol dI either baked cookies or lit up a cookie smelling candle. There was research a while back that the scent of baking cookies gave buyers positive impression of the house.

But the colors on the wall are so current and perfect, the house is immaculate. You have obviously busted your hump. Good Luck!

Thanks for reassuring me that it's not me. I did buy a vanilla cupcake candle and I light it when I think about it. My realtor is going to bring cookies for the oven to both open houses this weekend. I hope that helps.

I agree that the wall in the master is boring. Part of the reason I added that picture with all that wall if to show that the exercise room is right there. It's not my favorite, but the realtor picked it of all the pics I took.

I would move the plant from downstairs (the only one I have) up there, but I think the front living room would look wierd then. I wish I had time to go buy a plant and stand before I leave in the morning. All my pictures are packed.

Can you tell whose room was going to be last to decorate? Once we sell the house, I really need to do something to finish off my room. I did every other room in the house.

I wonder how much a painter costs? Kirt's already said he won't be able to paint the house again until the fall/winter. I hate white walls in my house. I just got them all painted. I think hiring someone could be expensive. Anyone have any experience in this department?
