Evening Fockers! Home from work and just chilling. Have soup and sanwiches for dinner.

Angela - did you see my reply to you text...that I got about 4 hours after you sent it! I think dad may be working on Sunday (he likes to watch the Phillies play ) WIll you be at that game. I will find out if he is working!

I dunno. It's a private house so maybe the guy is just exploring all options. All I know is he said he has an appointment with someone else on Saturday to look at it and after that they will let us know. Maybe they just wanna make sure it's the right people for them? They live upstairs. All I know is that we like it and he knows so we will make sure to stay on it.


I have already played Animal Crossing for over and hour and a half today! I forgot how addicting it is!!! I have my friend code so anyone who wants it PM me.

Advice time.....

I have a younger cousin (she is 26 i think), she isn't actually my relative but we grew up together until we were about 10 or so. She is my godmother's daughter. When we were young we were close. Our mom's were best friends all their lives. Her mom is one of the few who came and spoke at my mom's funeral. My cousin lost her dad about 5 years ago so she understood what I was going through. We kept in distant touch over the years.

She and I took very different paths in life, opposite really. She got into drugs and drinking and ended up in jail a few times actually. I never did any of that type of stuff. Obviously thats why we weren't close once we started growing up.

Now she thinks we are close and should be best friends like our moms were. I feel odd about this. I don't have anything in common with her and frankly I don't really want to deal with the bad side of her. She recently went back to jail on a DUI and when she went in her husband called me and left me a message telling me because "i know you two are so close". I had no idea what to do.

I don't mind talking to her, but I try to keep it on the computer in emails or facebook now. She keeps trying to make it more. What do I do???

I was going to try and write her an email an explain this but how do I do that? I feel really weird about the whole thing and want to deal with it... what do I do?

OMGosh Dawn! That's too dang funny. I am still UNWELL MEL. I'm still all stuffed up. This cold stinks!

SD is at a party/sleepover and Gus is watching ICarly. He wanted to go snowboarding right after school today so I brought him. The rain and thunderstorms were supposed to start after dinner so I figured he had some time. We left at 6:15 and it started raining on our way to the car! Great timing!!!!
This will truly be the LAST time snowboarding. The snow was looking a bit rough after the last few warm or rainy days and they aren't making any more. This will be it for the resort once it rains tonight.

We grabbed Subway on the way home for dinner and now we're settling in for a movie and popcorn. Bob's stuck in crazzzeeee L.A. traffic! He said he could never live there with their nutso traffic.

Kat: YAY! I hope you get the apartment!

Sounds good, Janet! I know what you mean about switching around. Now that we are flying, I had to cancel my ADR at Garden Grill and added one for Wolfgang Puck's on another night that I was paying OOP. T-Rex is now cancelled. I'm bummed, but I need to save my money for moving now.

The house looks great! Are there any existing homes in those neighborhoods for sale? I know in MN now is the time to buy existing... although I have only built new homes, so I know the feeling of not finding what you really want. Building does give it's own headache in itself though. It is not all pretty pink roses. But when finished... it is NEW!

This builder has refrained from building houses unless they have a contract for purchase. She said it's how they've kept from being affected by the ecoomy issues. I don't mind building. I can pick everything I want, so it's fine really. I'm glad it's fully sodded. We're too old for the junk now!
Since they are only building as needed, it should only be 3 months until it's done.

I got some good news today. Kirt's company does the A/C and plumbing on the house we'll be building. That means, any profit the company would have made, Kirt and I will get in free upgrades. Zoned A/C will be a nice thing that we need here. Also- he'll get to go in and make sure it's done right.

Dawn, the house is beautiful!! it looks very spacious!! we live in a 70+ year old house. it was Steves grandparents. does the price of 178 include the land? wow!!! do you think they would let us bring our chickens?! that house would go for about 400 here!

Had a good day with Elizabeth. she slept in till about 11. finally made it to the mall around 12:30. I got a few really cute things for Angelina at the Childrens Place. thats the only store we went into. she had a hard time walking. between all the phsych meds and her fibro and bad knee. I didnt want to do much. Olive Garden for lunch then Target. shes sleeping now. she will be starting a outpatient program soon. it looks really good. it runs for 2 weeks from 9-4. group therapy sessions. family counseling, life skills. I hope she gets something out of it.

I picked up Animal Crossing today!!! I havent opened it yet. but I cant wait to play it!
Kat, I`m not sure whats going on with the Wii friend number? does yours work for everyone else? I cant wait to visit everyone!!

Dawn is still stressed about move. Looking to build a house now. Some upgrades free. She posted a floor plan. You'll have to forgive me for this observation, are you sure you want the garage that far from the kitchen? That's just one of my musts when looking/building. I don't want to drag my groceries through the house. Love the idea of a powder/mud room off the garage though. Everybody has their preferences.

Sharky is better. She would like to air out the house before the pollen monsters drop in.

Katt had a Wallyworld day. She is trying to find a flight for Scott to Seattle for Sun.

Miz D is looking @ homes too. Her DH has 'mad' email typing skills! OOPSY!

V is frustrated with the work drama. Needs some ideas for a 1st time play date for Leo.

Drmn thinks there should be a thread for the girls wknd.

JV's DS is better. She is leaving for scrapper heavin Friday. She wants all of you who want in on the photopass to let her know ASAP.

Rachel has a problem with blank walls and landlord rules. She needs a picture drawn when you explain something to her. Her DS will need to be a CEO of a major company one day to pay for his plane trips.

Janet said she can 'read' Jimmy's throat. I guess it 'read' nasal drip problem.

Lessa paid off the cruise part of her trip!!!

Jo played golf took care of the girls, and melted her eyeballs with fresh air, the computer and hayfever! She checked out early on us.

Mo is getting her foot ready for surgery is 3 weeks.

Carrie took her sis shopping. They had a good day.

Lori is juggling kids and life. DR lost her contact so she had to find her scrip. A major task. Did you get the van fixed? Oh and her ex thinks that doctors are unneccessary.

Z has to work all wknd. I know how you feel.

Kat likes the apartment she and KC looked at. They have to wait until Sat to see if they can have it. She needs some advice about a 'not so close' friend that wants to be close.

Rosie's DD is facing some cuts in pay and hours. She gave some great advice to Kat.
