I want to publicly THANK BOTH LESSA & JO for trying to help find a me find something to help my kids with this wart-rash they both came down with. My Dr. said you could get something in the UK & Canada to heal it. Both went out of their way to try to find it. THANKS GIRLS! That is true DIS Friends! LOVE YA!

DS has influenza, yet had the vaccine. Bummer! His temp ranges from 102-104. I did get it to break for a few hours today! I feel so sad for the little man. SO I have been home caring for my little guy for the past few days.

Hope he gets feeling better real soon. My dr. said the most common form of the flu going around this year was not covered by the shot.

Now you're talking! I just had a fellow DISer come to my town to trade some furniture. It was so much fun having a visitor. Maddie misses our new friend already.

I am def buying Animal Crossing! I found out you can move your character from the DS version over, and I had a long game going there!

Nana is the owner and operator of our wii so I do not play it much. Kat I will check with her about how to add you. She mainly plays Guitar Hero though.

Good night ladies I am off to get some sleep. Here is where I think we are going to vacation next some time in July I hope. It sounds so quiet and peaceful and is only about 350 miles from home. Easy drive for us.

Speaking of Wisconsin, I just booked a room for a couple of days at the Comfort Suites in Lake Geneva. $176. It seems Doogles will be off the last week of June and the 1st week of July. We've decided to make a bratwurst run. I'm serious. You ever had a good brat! Lake Geneva Country Meats makes Johnsonville look like park wieners. We'll probably visit Milwaukee too. I don't have to tell you why, do I? Oh and of course we'll get some cheese!

Max is cleared for take off! The vet said ease him into it for about 2 weeks. Take him on a few leash walks and don't let him run right away. I think he knows he is in the clear but he is still taking it easy by keeping close to me.

As My Stomach Churns update:
I was getting tired of avoiding my aunts. You see, my SIL had an email all ready to be sent to them. My bro wanted to proof it. Well it still hasn't been sent and SIL doesn't have access to the account any more. So I dropped the bomb.

My one aunt is very shocked. She wants to know more. I told her I would have SIL call her. It is not up to me to do the he said/she said stuff.

I let SIL and bro know what I did. I let them know that anything that they tell me is strictly kept by me. I'm keeping my mouth shut. They need to be the ones to explain it.

I watched all the episodes of HW of OC and the reunion/recap show. Wow, Tamara is just plain mean spirited when it comes to Gretchen. Obviously very jealous, so stupid. I just love Jeana. It's too bad that her oldest treats her like carp. He needs a good beating with a bat, not her. Poor Lynn, I think she is a sweet person. She is such a push over though.

OK that's enough. I really need to get caught up on some TRs.

Not much going on here today. DD5 has gymnastics this afternoon and DD7 has piano after school, but nothing else. I've gotta pick up some more Girl Scout cookies today for our booth this Sunday, but otherwise, I'm going to clean my house today.

Still haven't talked to DH about the girls weekend thing... I'm waiting for him to get in a good mood. So far, we've got Carrie and JenV interested.... Anyone else??

Good morning! My sister and I are going to out first spring training game today! Go Braves! The weather is supposed to be nice so hopefully I'll get some sun.


Kristel, we went to Elkhart Lake in WI, no idea if that's near where you're going or not, but it was so nice. We were there in August and had to wear sweatshirts at night. The zero humidity was fab though.

Ugh.... I can't believe I'm up. I couldn't fall asleep until about 1, then I woke up and resumed the worrying this morning...

I know exactly what I want in Austin, but I can't find it right now. I want to live in a certain area, but the hosues are older and smaller there. So, the question is, do I move 20 minutes out and get a bigger house or give up some space and buy a fixer upper where I want to be?
I guess I'm spoiled, becauase I've always owned a new home. Seeing the cracks in the walls, scratched woodwork and laminate flooring in that house yesterday was so disappointing. The kids' room were tiny and the game room would be a stretch to meet our needs. We'd lose a room in that house, so we'd have to fit a love seat, tv and our school stuff in the one little space. BUT, it's in the exact neighborhood we want to be in. At the price it's at, all the other houses are about 1800-2000 sq. ft. vs. this one at 2600. But, I wouldn't be proud to call it my home without some serious work.

that's so hard for me, because this house we own now is so nice. I never thought we'd be able to afford it, and it just all worked out that we could. This house is selling in Austin new for a lot more than we'll get for it here and we have an extra exercise room and three car garage here.

Anyway... I'm rambling. So, I haven't seen a house on the market that's so great I would sacrfice where I want to live. It's frustrating. I did call a realtor yesterday, so maybe she can figure it out for me. Is it too early to start drinking?


I need to take a shower and get busy packing and organizing. But, I'll be around all day.
