I have a question for all of my Focker friends who've done the dining plan.

I have a dear friend who is doing the deluxe dining plan for her trip in a few months. And maaaan alive, she is excited for all her eating around the world. LOL. She's fabulous with her planning.

We were talking about the amount of food...and she's going to have about 3 TS credits left over at the end of her trip. She wants to use these TS as snack credits to take home some "edible souveniers"...to continue her party after she gets home.

Have you guys done this? Convert either your TS or your QS credits to snack credits? Did you have to go someplace specific? Or did you have to ask for it specifically?

Oh...and my Focker lovelies. Missed y'all. We're fine. Just reeeally busy. I've been reading and keeping up. all around.

As far as I know you can not do this. Would it be more economical for her to use the standard plan and pay out of pocket for a couple meals? I know when I crunched the numbers for last summer it was not worth the money for us. We like to eat a few counter service meals and it was better to use the 1TS, 1CS, plan and pay out of pocket for a few TS breakfasts.

The kids and I have a lot of shopping to do today. We have a 3 year olds birthday party, 2 bridal showers and DR's birthday all coming up this month. Each of my weekends will be busy from now until the end of March.

I went to the chemist and got some allergy eye drops and woohooo they have made my eyes so much better, even after 1 use, why didn't I buy them earlier The girl we're playing golf with tomorrow has called off as her Dad said the weather is due to be bad but it makes our weekend less busy so that's good! I've just ordered the Chinese and David should be here with it in about 20 minutes

Don't think you can convert credits.

In 2007 we managed to get 3 snacks for 1 counter service but the CM had to put them through as other items. So it's worth asking but why don't they just do more 2 credit meals? As they will be expensive snacks

Quick question about the Girls Only Weekend. Is there a day we plan on going to Epcot for the Food and Wine Festival. I am trying to get an idea what kind of tickets I will need. I was also thinking of getting the QS meal plan. This would give me 2 snacks a day. I could use them at F&W. Does that sound like a good idea to you all?

Afternoon my lovelies!

I'm stuck on the craptop for the afternoon while KC works from home. I have a pot of chili on the stove made out of the leftover jerk beef. It turned out way too spicy for me so this was a good way for me to tone it down and actually enjoy it!

I have been playing to carp out of Animal Crossing! I can't stop! Today already I played for an hour. LOVE IT! Carrie- I added you! You all need to get this game and we can all play together!!!

After KC finishes with work we are going to the grocery store and nothing else after that!

I think he's going to call soon about the apartment...cross your fingers!!!

So he showed it to someone today and there are other appointments set up. I think he has nothing to do with it and the kids keep scheduling them. Still he told us he'd let us know.

Perfectly lazy day here. I read a bit. Picked SD up from his Saturday school. He said it was FUN??!! Weird kid. He got his homework done from Friday and he was allowed to text message his friends while he was there. (Some punishment, eh?)
He went to a friends and we hung out here. Bob and Gus re-hung the towel hook that fell down in the small bathroom. Then we drove out to the farm supply store to pick up a 50lb. bag of bunny food for Cappucino! LOL. It only comes in that size! Crazy!
Now we're home. I'm making buffalo chicken tenders, fries and carrot sticks for dinner. SD and his friend are here now and spending the night. (Had to defrost an extra pkg of chicken, last minute! argh!!!)

Yes, the normal ones (like Mickey panckaes) are what I would call regular pancakes. I could eat a ton of those. The ones my dad made...nope.

The kids and I are back from our shopping trip.

I had to stop by Bed Bath & Beyond for a bridal shower gift and man that store was small, crowded and over packed. Maybe it was small because that's just how our store is, but things were wall to wall crowded! I have not set foot in this store for a good 5 years and don't ever remember it being like that.

Then the kids and I hit up Old Navy. DR has school pics next Monday and I wanted to get him something new to wear. Picked up 2 sweaters and 2 pairs of jeans for him for less than $25. I bought Linds 2 pairs of jeans as well for $9 each.

Our last stop was Books-A-Million. They usually have cute little puzzles and different toys there that I thought would make a good birthday gift. Ended up getting a dress up doll magnet set. I can remember my mom getting Lindsey a set like this and she loved it.

I still have to go to Target this week for the other bridal shower gift, gift bags and cards. The kids were driving me nuts by the time we had done those 3 stores and people were every where. I'm so spoiled to do all my shopping during the weekdays and during working hours that I hardly ever have to deal with crowds.

But I'm off to read a new book I picked up (the Jon & Kate + 8 book...all I can do is shake my head at parts of it) and play with the kids.

A funny thing came in the mail... a jury summons. To appear on April 1. How funny is that?! I don't mind serving, but HAVE to be out at 5pm to pick up Leo from school - do court cases ever go later than that?

'Night all. I'm picking up my friend from Tampa early tomorrow morning so I probably won't be back until Mon, and we've got a mandatory meeting all morning at work - after I take my friend to the airport at 4:30am. This oughta be good!

Here court closes at 5:00pm. THere are rare occassions it goes past that...but that is very rare. You wanna get out of it? If it is a criminal trail tell them you believe everything the cops say no matter what and nothing will make you change your mind..there is not a defense attorney who will want you on their jury.
