He's tanorexic. :eek:

That's what my sister calls me! :rotfl:

BA wants me to post that she got her back handspring today---totally independent on the mat! :thumbsup2

Great job, great job! :banana:

Yup. Only five more days to go. I'm doing fine right now. No pain and no pain meds. If that can hold up until Tuesday, I'll be happy.

That's good to hear! :cool1:

If I missed you, I am very sorry. I'm really not myself today. Poor SD is off to school. I'm under strict orders from his psychologist and his pediatrician to NOT PICK HIM UP if he calls today. Why don't they just tear out my heart and stomp on it? I'm really a mess.

Of course it's not what you, as a mother, would do, but they are removed from the situation. :hug:

Hopefully, I can get on the phone with the school today and get his "safety zone" set up so he'll still be ON campus when he feels bad. This afternoon we go to the psych. and I think our next appt. will be for meds. :guilty:

I kept forgetting to say this, but thank you so much from Gus! He had a happy birthday (he's just the happiest kid ever) and loved all the wishes from you guys! He got an Ipod nano, a new computer game and lots of $$. He's doing great, so far, in 5th grade!!! :)

Mom goes back to Boston tonight. :sad1: Then it's all me....

Hope you guys are doing great! How are all the little ones doing with school and pre-school?

MEL:banana:
Aww, Mel! :sad1: It must be so hard. :hug:
I'm glad Gus had a nice bday. Have fun with your mom today. :goodvibes

Why are most of us seeming to be in some state of Emergency now??
It's Kids, It's Work, Parents, ourselves..

Is the world just going wacky on us or What. And Most of us are so spread out we can not be there personally to chip in and help. :mad:

I'm near TE and that's it.

I have only met "Mel" :lovestruc (and she RAN LIKE HER LIFE WAS IN DANGER but covered it saying she had an ADR somewhere :rolleyes1 ;) )
But it seems like I have known you gals forever.. and I only found you about a year ago.

Who's up for a "Focker" Day in Williamsburg Va. :rotfl:
Yeah.. not Disney. And too far to travel for just about all of us.

Even IF I do not chime in with a Note or a :hug:
Count on this.. I have made a note.. and I will Be thinking and praying for answers, Peace, Healing, Rest, Money .. WHAT EVER YOU NEED.. Got it ??

I've got some running to do this morning.. be back later.

G-luv: skeery kaia! and cute new baby. glad your new job is good. :thumbsup2

Janet: only stayed at AKL for one night but felt the buses to DTD and I think Epcot were SLOW. Agree with CE. I can do Pop for F&W thingy in Oct. next year!

CE: Thanks for the moral support. You have no idea how much you guys are helping me. :goodvibes

Kat: cute clothes and cuter Bale!!! He's such a cutie. :lovestruc I have a a couple of those cookbooks! I want the slow cooker one though....

Dawn: Glad you survived the Cable Slasher! :scared1:

TE: Tell BA that we're real proud! :cheer2:

MEL:banana:

We are all holding your hands through the computer. Hang in there! :grouphug:

I slept until the dog woke me up this morning, but I didn't go to bed until really late. So, I guess I didn't get any more sleep than last night, but different hours. I stayed up to watch tennis and we got a crank phone call at 12:15am and DH called the cops, so they called back at 1am. Then, my tummy wasn't feeling to well (digestion wise) so I spent some time with the newspaper in the bathroom, etc. I think I finally went to be about 2:30am.

That's my girl! I read when I pee, too. If I have a good book I know it because my legs go numb and it's like walking around on wet noodles for the following 15 minutes :banana: With twilight I thought I had paralyzed myself from the butt down :sad2:

Ooooh! I wish we could be there for a Williamsburg meet! I read a blog of a lady who just got back and it looks amazing. But, the kids are too young to sit through it all. We will be going up there in 2012, though! :banana:

So, we have a generally lazy day here... :cloud9: I have to run the puppy over to the vet (2 mins away) for a shot and nail trim in an hour, but other than that we are home all day.

Okay- as soon as I said we have a nice, lazy day I remembered the puppy appt. Now I'm remembering that we have to make dinner early and take B to dance at 5, take A to baseball at 7, then pick up B at 8! So, I guess it's busier than I though originally. :rotfl:

Anyway, it'll be nice and quiet from 10-4... :lmao:

I love Williamsburg!!! When we used to live in Fairfax County, we took my parents there when they visited. Unfortunately we only spent one day there. I think I could spend a week! We also went to Monticello because my dad was a high school US History teacher and he loves Thomas Jefferson. I also loved driving along the Blue Ridge Parkway! Indiana is too flat to be very scenic.

Katt - Have you seen a doctor about your leg yet?

Good morning, Dawn!

/
I'd Love a Schlitterbahn "Focker Meet"
But Texas is too far away. Not that Florida is close.
Not sure How the kids would feel going to Texas.

That sounds fun too! I've only been to Texas once for a convention in DFW. My DH's aunt used to live in Arlington, so we met up with family there. But that was long before we got married.

Texas sounds good unless it's in the 100s. Sorry Dawn!

I had an awesome few clients this afternoon.
Yay! Glad it's going well. :)
Then, I went to the mall to catch a few sales. I took my best friend meeska with me...and her daughter was horrid! :eek: Meeska wouldn't mind if I told ya! Kaia was screaming...knocking things down...touching everything...rolling around on the floor. :eek: I didn't know what to do. I tried "helping" but it didn't help at all. I was soooo embarrassed. Jon never did stuff like that. No more mall trips with Kaia! :sad2:
Sweet little Kaia?!?! :eek:

V - I saw that Dino park driving from BG last year, um, I'm thinking Leo may not realize what he is asking for.
Sadly, yes, yes he does. We looked at teh website last night - I was hoping that hearing how they're nto audio-animatronic and just sit there doing nothing would dissuade him... nope. :headache: I really don't mind going, but it's going to have to wait till it's a cooler!
As for face book, I'm 42, enough said.
LOL, I played with it yesterday and it's much more grown-up than MySpace. I like it! :thumbsup2

CIMG0298.jpg
:scared1:

I'm off to watch the next PR...I can only hope Blainalicious goes home to his tanning bed.
I missed ti! (It got preempted by AMNTM - I'm having a hard time getting into PR this year.) What happened?
Pastalicious :lmao:
:lmao:

BA wants me to post that she got her back handspring today---totally independent on the mat! :thumbsup2
It's a proud cheer mom moment as she's worked so hard for it. :goodvibes
Woo hoo! :cheer2:

:thumbsup2

AKL is NOT doable, even with mom's discout...Just not in the budget right now:sad2: However CBR for 7 nights in one of the Pirate Rooms is VERY doable. Who has stayed here...what can you tell me?
I really, really like CBR! I'll get you a link to some of my pics in a bit...
It IS very spread-out, but I like that so keep that in mind. Very relaxed vibe. Rooms are all being refurbed right now, so things will be fresh. New pool looks fantastic! Check allearsnet for recent pics of it.

If I missed you, I am very sorry. I'm really not myself today. Poor SD is off to school. I'm under strict orders from his psychologist and his pediatrician to NOT PICK HIM UP if he calls today. Why don't they just tear out my heart and stomp on it? I'm really a mess.
Hang in there! :hug:

Why are most of us seeming to be in some state of Emergency now??
Not me (knock on wood.) But I've got plenty of virtual hugs to send out. :grouphug:

I read when I pee, too. If I have a good book I know it because my legs go numb and it's like walking around on wet noodles for the following 15 minutes :banana:
:rotfl2: I'll admit to doing this too!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I totally forgot to ask yesterday... who else watched the new 90210 Tuesday?! It was GREAT! :thumbsup2 If you missed it, it's on again tonight.
hey girls. been gone for a few. i'm sure these are in order :hug: :hug:
anyone want to give me an update??? i was on page 170, but i don't think i can catch up on 30 pages!!!:faint:
Katt - Have you seen a doctor about your leg yet?
Good morning, Dawn!
I have not been back to the Dr. Hoping rest will take care of it... but starting to wonder. I do NOT WANT another MRI much less surgery.
Mel...
I understand the frustration with schools and your kids. I felt so bad sending Sara to school when she did not feel well.. but did not want the school beating on my head.. so my kid suffered. I have already had to force Sara to go to school.. she COULD have been feeling bad.. I think she was a little under the weather.. or it could be the fact she is TOTALLY ALONE in a school that she has gone to since K. :headache:
I have a BAD ATTTUDE towards the kids.. and there is one that used to go to "Awana" with Sara at our Church on Wednesday's. She has not brought it up... but I told Sara that IF SHE IS NOT going to act like your friend at school.. then NO I WILL NOT TAKE HER TO AWANA.
See I'm human... :mad:
Catch you later
Dawn has it right.. Homeschooling.. SO LONG as they are learning as much IF NOT MORE than the "Other kids"
Well, I'm home.
Glad you had a good day Jen!
And your trip to the mall sounds like my trip to the grocery store when I take my kids. :rotfl: Oh well, I'm used to it by now and still love them.
:banana: :banana: :banana:
So much for not spending too much $$$........
I got a pair of jeans, 2 tops, a tinkerbell earring holder, a cell phone charm plus boring stuff like duster refills and swiffer mop pads (not pictured for fear of boring people to death)
Love the shirts Kat! Are those from Lane Bryant? I just might have to go do some shopping.
Kat, let me know if you need to borrow a cookbook. :rolleyes1
Lori--so NOT moving, right??
++++++++++++=
BA wants me to post that she got her back handspring today---totally independent on the mat! :thumbsup2
It's a proud cheer mom moment as she's worked so hard for it. :goodvibes
Nope, no moving from me. I'll let you know, and probably everyone I know, know when I do though. :)
And Congrats to BA! That's awesome!
If I missed you, I am very sorry. I'm really not myself today. Poor SD is off to school. I'm under strict orders from his psychologist and his pediatrician to NOT PICK HIM UP if he calls today. Why don't they just tear out my heart and stomp on it? I'm really a mess.
MEL:banana:
Mel, I hope things getter better for both you and SD, soon. You know we're all here for you. :hug:
Glad Gus had a good b-day!
DD4 had a great time at preschool yesterday. When I picked her up, I asked her if she had a great day and her response??? "Can I go back tomorrow Mommy?" I had to tell her "no, but you can go back on Friday." That seemed to satisfy her.
DD7 was asking a bunch of questions about how the doctor was going to get the bad thing in Mommy's tummy out last night. She finally said, "Are they going to cut it out?" So, DH and I explained about the surgery and her eyes got really big and scared. I tried to reassure her that it will be okay and that Mommy's not scared, so she shouldn't be. But, isn't it weird how kids always know when you're lying? I'm not scared about the surgery itself, because I've been through it twice, but I'm a bit anxious about the results, you know? But at this point, because of our recent experiences with four friends with breast cancer, I definitely do not want to worry her with telling her about that possibility. I figure we'll cross that bridge when we come to it, right? So, I just have to hold it together for her and not let her see me worry.
Awww Jodi...both your girls sound adorable! Your 4 year old with school sounds like my DR. Too cute!
And :hug: to DD7. Kids really are so much wiser than they let on.
Ooooh! I wish we could be there for a Williamsburg meet! I read a blog of a lady who just got back and it looks amazing. But, the kids are too young to sit through it all. We will be going up there in 2012, though! :banana:
I love Williamsburg as well! I can't wait for my kids to get older to be able to go. I know at these ages they'd have some fun but wouldn't get the whole experience.
Who's up for a "Focker" Day in Williamsburg Va. :rotfl:
Yeah.. not Disney. And too far to travel for just about all of us.
I'd be happy to meet in Williamsburg! :thumbsup2 We have family there so a great excuse to see them and you all! But only when it's not too cold. I only have summer clothes, you know. :rolleyes1
Good Morning Fockers!
I had a kid free night and I'm now having a kid free morning. :cool1: And guess what I did with my time? I watched the Republican National Convention last night and am switching between The Weather Channel and Fox News this morning. God I'm getting old!
My sitter picked DR up last night and took him to her house to play with her puppies and spend the night. Lindsey got mad because DR was going so my dad took her golfing with him. :rolleyes: I wanted to teach her that she can't be the one always getting to do fun stuff and that DR needs a turn as well but that went out the window. Hey V...can my dad join your mom on that trip to Bangladesh? :headache:
Anyways, I dropped Linds off at school and the sitter hasn't dropped DR off yet. You'd think I'd go back to bed but nope I drank a Mt. Dew and had a piece of birthday cake, I'm pumped and ready to go for the day. :rolleyes:
Hope y'all have a good day and I'm sure I'll be back on later on to catch up.
are u talking NEXT August, Janet??
Well, planning your next Disney trip is the only way to fight the post-trip letdown!
Of course next August ::yes::
.
....I would vote for CBR--wanted to stay there this year but the pool was closed----V sent me some neat pics of it!
One vote for CBR:thumbsup2
Well, looks like it's done, but I still have an opinion. An update I have for later mentions this. I like that the buses at AKL aren't shared. And I understand that it's furthest away from nearly everything. But I do feel that THAT means they should run another bus or two. Or up the estimate. But MK and DTD just aren't doable in 20 minutes, so either TELL us it's going to be 35 or add another bus.
I know you had said the bus to MK took a while. THanks for the input, maybe next year. Darn work we had done on the house took a bite out of the budget. :rolleyes1
Goodnight! :goodvibes I tried to catch up on the new TRs...
HOw'd you make out with that:rotfl2:
If I missed you, I am very sorry. I'm really not myself today. Poor SD is off to school. I'm under strict orders from his psychologist and his pediatrician to NOT PICK HIM UP if he calls today. Why don't they just tear out my heart and stomp on it? I'm really a mess.
:hug: :hug: :hug: :hug:
Janet - I think CBR sounds good and I haven't said anything to DH about next Columbus Day weekend, but I'm hoping to be able to pull it off. Wouldn't that be fun? I'm sure we'll have the points.
That would be so awesome!:thumbsup2
DD4 had a great time at preschool yesterday. When I picked her up, I asked her if she had a great day and her response??? "Can I go back tomorrow Mommy?" I had to tell her "no, but you can go back on Friday." That seemed to satisfy her.
So glad she liked it:goodvibes
DD4 was really disobedient last night and lost her TV privileges today, so I think it's going to be a long day. I may see about getting together with my friend and her DD for a playdate.
Ugh. This usually happens here when I want to actually watch something on TV:sad2:
Who's up for a "Focker" Day in Williamsburg Va. :rotfl:
Yeah.. not Disney. And too far to travel for just about all of us.
It's only 6 hours from here...:banana: We love Williamsburg. It is one of the places we want to take Jimmy too, but not until he is older and can understand it, KWIM?
Even IF I do not chime in with a Note or a :hug:
Count on this.. I have made a note.. and I will Be thinking and praying for answers, Peace, Healing, Rest, Money .. WHAT EVER YOU NEED.. Got it ??
Katt
Ditto Katt DItto
Um, money:confused3 I am really trying to talk JIm into DVC, canyou help a girl out:rolleyes1 :lmao:
I missed ti! (It got preempted by AMNTM - I'm having a hard time getting into PR this year.) What happened?
I missed PR last night at 9:00 becasue I too was watching ANTM. I was so glad Sharone (or whatever the heck her name was) was sent home. She was a Beyotch. What are your thoughts on Isis:rolleyes1
I really, really like CBR! I'll get you a link to some of my pics in a bit...
It IS very spread-out, but I like that so keep that in mind. Very relaxed vibe. Rooms are all being refurbed right now, so things will be fresh. New pool looks fantastic! Check allearsnet for recent pics of it.
I really think Jimmy will get a kick out of one of the priate rooms ::yes::
I totally forgot to ask yesterday... who else watched the new 90210 Tuesday?! It was GREAT! :thumbsup2 If you missed it, it's on again tonight.
I missed it, but am going to try and catch it tonight!
I'd be happy to meet in Williamsburg! :thumbsup2 We have family there so a great excuse to see them and you all! But only when it's not too cold. I only have summer clothes, you know. :rolleyes1
SUre rub it in:rolleyes:
I'd Love a Schlitterbahn "Focker Meet"
It isn't in the 100s. It's about 93 everyday here now. Also- there's less humidity here than Florida. We're just like Florida, weather-wise. :rolleyes:
I totally forgot to ask yesterday... who else watched the new 90210 Tuesday?! It was GREAT! :thumbsup2 If you missed it, it's on again tonight.
I watched it last night since I recorded it. I thought I wasn't going to be able to handle it after that scene in the car :scared: , but I think it's going to be a good now. At first I kept think, "Man, I'm old."
I have not been back to the Dr. Hoping rest will take care of it... but starting to wonder. I do NOT WANT another MRI much less surgery.
Katt- do what's best for your health, girl!
School's hard, huh? :hug: My heart is breaking for what Sara and SD are going through right now. Homeschooling is great, but it's not the solution to everything. If B was having panic attacks, I'd still need to help her even though she's home -same with bullies.
I love Williamsburg as well! I can't wait for my kids to get older to be able to go. I know at these ages they'd have some fun but wouldn't get the whole experience.
That's exactly why we're going to Disney in 2010, then to Williamsburg, and Washington DC and all that in 2012. At that point the kids will be 15, 11 and 10. :thumbsup2
I'd be happy to meet in Williamsburg! :thumbsup2 We have family there so a great excuse to see them and you all! But only when it's not too cold. I only have summer clothes, you know. :rolleyes1
:lmao: Me too!
:scared: That makes me feel sick thinking about it! :sick:
Hey V...can my dad join your mom on that trip to Bangladesh? :headache:
:thumbsup2 Shoot - at this rate, I think we could buy a condo complex for all our parents/in-laws! ;)
What are your thoughts on Isis:rolleyes1
Love her! Really, I love her looks on film, but not so sure about the walk - it's still a bit manly, y'know? She's definitely good for the drama in the house. :rolleyes:
Okay, I'm not up on the TV references so can someone help a girl out and tell me what the acronyms stand for????
PR = Project Runway
ANTM = America's Next Top Model
Yes, I have no life. ;)
:lmao: You said Boyfriend! :lmao:
HomeschoolMama;27336932 [COLOR="yellowgreen" said:
Boyfriend, eh? Are we calling him that now? ;) :woohoo: [/COLOR]
Like I told Kat during FF, it sounds better than calling him my Lovah :rolleyes:
OOOOH, did someone say "tennis"??? :yay: :rotfl: Have fun!
HEY!! Why is tennis in quotes!?!? :p
We actually did play tennis, it was fun even though neither one of us has ever played before. :rolleyes:
I need to find a place that has tennis courts to play for free though, because paying to play would make me broke.
Have you seen the Oreo commercial with the Williams and Mannings? Funny. :rotfl2:
OMG I LOVE that commercial!! It's hilarious! :happytv:
I had looked for it when we first saw it, then found it to post on Enchanted. Bill is from Indiana and is a Peyton Manning freak :rotfl:, ummm I mean fan.
I love Manning :lovestruc (although Eli is cuter, but he's engaged :guilty: )
....what? I'm allowed to live in my own football fantasy world. :cloud9:
Poor SD is off to school. I'm under strict orders from his psychologist and his pediatrician to NOT PICK HIM UP if he calls today. Why don't they just tear out my heart and stomp on it? I'm really a mess.
OMG, how can they ask that?! :hug:
I totally forgot to ask yesterday... who else watched the new 90210 Tuesday?! It was GREAT! :thumbsup2 If you missed it, it's on again tonight.
Oh I missed it! Good to know it's rerunning tonight!! :thumbsup2
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Morning everyone! Today is house cleaning day for me. :headache:

Don't really have anything else planned, maybe watch some movies.
