So much for not spending too much $$$........

I got a pair of jeans, 2 tops, a tinkerbell earring holder, a cell phone charm plus boring stuff like duster refills and swiffer mop pads (not pictured for fear of boring people to death)

And Bale thought he'd get in the pic too, he loved the bag the best!

I used a $25 off of every $50 u spend so I actually spent $38 total on all 3 things, not too bad. BUT I will be stashing them in the closet and not telling KC...cause we were supposed to be saving $ now that we are back from vaca. :rolleyes1

And for giggles I took a picture of my cook books yesterday....

Oh and I got some hair dye.... here's hopin' it works out...I'm off to try it out!
I love the shirt! :lovestruc Where did you go, Kat? popcorn::

Well, I'm home.

I had an awesome few clients this afternoon.

Then, I went to the mall to catch a few sales. I took my best friend meeska with me...and her daughter was horrid! Meeska wouldn't mind if I told ya! Kaia was screaming...knocking things down...touching everything...rolling around on the floor. I didn't know what to do. I tried "helping" but it didn't help at all. I was soooo embarrassed. Jon never did stuff like that. No more mall trips with Kaia! :sad2:
:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: I laugh because I've been there...

My mother would have taken me home and bad things would have happened!

Kat, let me know if you need to borrow a cookbook. :rolleyes1

Darn it, I was getting used to the spanking idea :rotfl2:.

Thanks for the welcome!!

I guess I should introduce myself. I am Tracy, aka Mrsk. We live in Southern Illinois. I live with my wonderful boy friend who happens to have Cerebral Palsy and is in a wheelchair. He has a wicked sense of humor and introduced me to the wonderful world of Disney, now I am totally and completely addicted!!

Hi MrsK! I'm TE......also a Tracy............which IS the best Focker name to have so obviously if you have the same name as the Leader, then you are automatically in! :lmao:
.......we have another Tracy too, who we call T cause it got confusing......then her MIL is nicknamed TE so that was confusing too!
So do you wanna be MrsK???

Since we have "Ventured" down "THAT" Road.
Mamogram Exercises

Many women are afraid of their first mammogram, and even if they have had them before, there is fear, but there is no need to worry. By taking a few minutes each day for a week preceding the exam and doing the following practice exercises, you will be totally prepared for the test, and best of all, you can do these simple practice exercises right in your home.

EXERCISE 1:
Open your refrigerator door, and insert one breast between the door and the main box.
Have one of your strongest friends slam the door shut as hard as possible and lean on the door for good measure.
Hold that position for five seconds.
Repeat in case the first time wasn't effective.. or IF YOU have... Larger than a "C" Cup, an ddid not get it all in the FIRST Time.

EXERCISE 2:
Visit your garage at 3 a.m. when the temperature of the cement floor is just perfect.
Take off all your clothes and lie comfortably on the floor sideways with one breast wedged under the rear tire of the car.
Ask a friend to slowly back the car up until your breast is sufficiently flattened and chilled.
Switch sides, and repeat for the other breast.

EXERCISE 3:
Freeze two metal bookends overnight.
Strip to the waist.
Invite a stranger into the room Have the stranger press the bookends against either side of one of your breasts and smash the bookends together as hard as he/she can.

Set an appointment with the stranger to meet next year to do it again.
You are now properly prepared!
Katt you are to funny, I am:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Well my in & out didn't work I wa there till 6pm and then had to do alot of running around after budget shopping for school supplies and checking the list( like Santa:lmao:) I filled their bags ready for the BIG Day!! gave the girls theirs and DD Kyles' guess what she can't find his or the list. So I had to make a quick Walmart run for a couple of things , couldn't remember what color folder he needed so I packed all different ones. I still have masses of supplies for the rest of the year. I am not paying over a dollar for filler paper in January. So Ithink I have enought to last till college :rotfl:
Have to go in for 6 am next 2 days but hopefully will be out early.
Kat I still haven't figured out the avatar or the bouncing Mickey!!!:lmao:

Yup. Only five more days to go. I'm doing fine right now. No pain and no pain meds. If that can hold up until Tuesday, I'll be happy.

TE... sorry to tell you this, but Janet took over fourth place as soon as she got back home. And I think Jen is ahead of you as well. Sorry! :confused3

And congrats to BA! I can do a somersault and that's about it. I could do a cartwheel when I was a bit younger and could do the splits not long ago. I would try again, but I'm afraid to do anything strenuous right now. Don't want that pain coming back, KWIM?

Off to watch some tennis - Williams vs. Williams and then want to watch Sarah Palin's speech.

I need opinions for our next trip. I am thinking instead of going for 10 days in August like we usually do and staying value, I am thinking 7 days at AKL Savanna VIew (with mom's 50% CM discount:woohoo: ) in August and then 4 days over the Columbus Weekend - SOLO at Pop for F&WF. Doesn't this sound like the perfect plan? My only concern is the questionable bus service. Opinion on this CE?

I am off to price it out and see if it is doable.

AKL is NOT doable, even with mom's discout...Just not in the budget right now:sad2: However CBR for 7 nights in one of the Pirate Rooms is VERY doable. Who has stayed here...what can you tell me?

are u talking NEXT August, Janet??
Well, planning your next Disney trip is the only way to fight the post-trip letdown!

.....I would vote for CBR--wanted to stay there this year but the pool was closed----V sent me some neat pics of it!

Course we really liked POR--felt like a resort, KWIM?

kATT==love the mammogram exercises! I'm due in October so I'll start practicing right away! :lmao:

Well, looks like it's done, but I still have an opinion. An update I have for later mentions this. I like that the buses at AKL aren't shared. And I understand that it's furthest away from nearly everything. But I do feel that THAT means they should run another bus or two. Or up the estimate. But MK and DTD just aren't doable in 20 minutes, so either TELL us it's going to be 35 or add another bus. :confused3

G-luv: skeery kaia! and cute new baby. glad your new job is good. :thumbsup2

Janet: only stayed at AKL for one night but felt the buses to DTD and I think Epcot were SLOW. Agree with CE. I can do Pop for F&W thingy in Oct. next year!

CE: Thanks for the moral support. You have no idea how much you guys are helping me. :goodvibes

Kat: cute clothes and cuter Bale!!! He's such a cutie. :lovestruc I have a a couple of those cookbooks! I want the slow cooker one though....

Dawn: Glad you survived the Cable Slasher! :scared1:

TE: Tell BA that we're real proud! :cheer2:

If I missed you, I am very sorry. I'm really not myself today. Poor SD is off to school. I'm under strict orders from his psychologist and his pediatrician to NOT PICK HIM UP if he calls today. Why don't they just tear out my heart and stomp on it? I'm really a mess.

Hopefully, I can get on the phone with the school today and get his "safety zone" set up so he'll still be ON campus when he feels bad. This afternoon we go to the psych. and I think our next appt. will be for meds. :guilty:

I kept forgetting to say this, but thank you so much from Gus! He had a happy birthday (he's just the happiest kid ever) and loved all the wishes from you guys! He got an Ipod nano, a new computer game and lots of $$. He's doing great, so far, in 5th grade!!! :)

Mom goes back to Boston tonight. :sad1: Then it's all me....

Hope you guys are doing great! How are all the little ones doing with school and pre-school?

Janet - I think CBR sounds good and I haven't said anything to DH about next Columbus Day weekend, but I'm hoping to be able to pull it off. Wouldn't that be fun? I'm sure we'll have the points.

Mel - Sounds like you need one more  . So, did he go to school willingly today? Try to have a good last day with your mom and not worry too much about SD. It sounds like the school has dealt with this before and has a good plan. :grouphug:

DD4 had a great time at preschool yesterday. When I picked her up, I asked her if she had a great day and her response??? "Can I go back tomorrow Mommy?" I had to tell her "no, but you can go back on Friday." That seemed to satisfy her.

DD7 was asking a bunch of questions about how the doctor was going to get the bad thing in Mommy's tummy out last night. She finally said, "Are they going to cut it out?" So, DH and I explained about the surgery and her eyes got really big and scared. I tried to reassure her that it will be okay and that Mommy's not scared, so she shouldn't be. But, isn't it weird how kids always know when you're lying? I'm not scared about the surgery itself, because I've been through it twice, but I'm a bit anxious about the results, you know? But at this point, because of our recent experiences with four friends with breast cancer, I definitely do not want to worry her with telling her about that possibility. I figure we'll cross that bridge when we come to it, right? So, I just have to hold it together for her and not let her see me worry.

Not doing much today. I'm getting my hair cut and I have to run to the bank, but that's about it. DD4 was really disobedient last night and lost her TV privileges today, so I think it's going to be a long day. I may see about getting together with my friend and her DD for a playdate.

You are late posting this Morning... Did you Sleep ?? Me .. Nope awake at 5:00 again:sad2: Thanks to Scott getting up early and heading to Baltimore. :headache: . I can't seem to get back to sleep now once I wake up.

Our kids do get really scared when you start talking Hospitals and Surgeries. And KIDS ARE SO SMART. They can pick up on or fears unless we are great poker players.

 Hang in there babe.

I slept until the dog woke me up this morning, but I didn't go to bed until really late. So, I guess I didn't get any more sleep than last night, but different hours. I stayed up to watch tennis and we got a crank phone call at 12:15am and DH called the cops, so they called back at 1am. Then, my tummy wasn't feeling to well (digestion wise) so I spent some time with the newspaper in the bathroom, etc. I think I finally went to be about 2:30am.

So, I just have to hold it together for her and not let her see me worry.

Ah, don't you hate having to do the punishments that punish you just as much as them? :rotfl: Good luck today!

I'm sorry, Katt.
