DUDE. It's a PACKY.

I could use a strong drink or two right now to help me relax.

Glad that DS is feeling better Mel, that must be a relief. :hug: BTW, I haven't seen you over at my PTR yet. ;)

We just call them Package stores here I guess...its a big liquor store..Hopkinton Liquor Depot...

what was the picture Mel?

I remember calling them package stores when we lived in Virginia Beach, I always thought it was a strange name for a booze store. :confused3 Here in Ontario it is just the LCBO.

Jen, you are too funny! An Ip-Dip is a term from Buzz's trip reports. An Ip-Dip is basically a foolish person, an idiot. So when you do something stupid you are an "ip-dip".

I knew there were a few I did not have down. Already taken care of :thumbsup2

Just in case anybody wanted to know WHO IS THE LEADING "CHATTER" RIGHT NOW....

:banana: Yeah me!!! :banana:

Okay, it's my turn to vent about in-laws a bit....

So, my DH is having a "procedure" next Thursday morning (really really really early). We have to be there at 6am. School starts here on Monday, so my DD7 will have to get on the bus. DH had called his parents (who live in our town) right after scheduling this appointment (about 3 weeks ago) to see if they could spend the night in our house the night before and take care of our girls during the morning. His dad said, no problem.

Well, he calls his parents tonight and his dad informed him that they are headed up north to their old house (which they haven't sold yet) on Tuesday. So, it seems that the agreement to watch our kids during DH's surgery didn't mean anything to them! :mad:

Now, I know that my mom will drive down 1 1/2 hours to watch my girls that morning without complaining, but it bugs me that they agreed to do it, until they found something more fun to do. They did the same thing when my DH tried to surprise me with a trip to Hawaii a few years ago. They were all set to watch the girls for half the time and then got a family wedding invitation and decided that was more important than our kids. So, once again, my mom had to step in and help us out.

And my MIL wonders why I trust my mom more than her????
:mad: How annoying! :sad2:

:wave: Nighty night ya'll. Jon's up...and so is the fever. We're off to do wet socks and fever packs. :sad2: See ya'll manana.
:hug: :hug: Take care. I'm sending prayers right now.

On a much better note than my previous post, we got the official class lists for DD7's school tonight. While we were standing at the school's front doors looking at the lists, my DD's teacher walked up to go inside and work in her room. DD7 saw her and ran over and gave her a big hug and said that she was so glad to be in her class. And the teacher responded in kind. She said that she was very excited to have found out that my DD was in her class too. So, I'm feeling pretty good about this year! She seems very nice and my DD needs a sweet teacher for once. :cutie:
:cloud9: That's so nice. What a good teacher!

We call them liquor stores. :confused3

So is this IP DIP top secret?
We call them liquor stores too. :thumbsup2

Ip Dip is an October meet with a different group of people. It's no secret, I don't think. :confused3

Ohh... I don't know Buzz. :confused3

I was just wondering, because I have asked what that was like 10x and NO one answers me. :confused3 Thanks everyone! Now Jen is in the KNOW! :thumbsup2

Is anyone awake? I'm trying to get tired enough to sleep. :upsidedow

:rotfl:

Jon...is in love...with a cheerleader.

I have no idea who this tramp is. Whatever. :snooty:

Careful, your soundin' like da motha! :rotfl2:

:wave: Nighty night ya'll. Jon's up...and so is the fever. We're off to do wet socks and fever packs. :sad2: See ya'll manana.

I'm sorry. :hug: and prayers for you.

Lifelong - On the guy that's a date but not a date... Holy carp, he can cook and he wants to cook for you???!! Then you went and creeped me out with the future planning.:scared1: :scared1: Danger, Danger Will Robinson!

Angela - Thanks for the pics. Sorry the trip was not the best.

Katt - I'm not on the list. I feel so unloved and unwanted.:sad2:

Mel - I missed Mel day. Sorry. When you exceed your bandwith it means you are very, very popular and have lots of pictures that everyone wants to see!!!

Dog farts - My Max will fart and then look at his rear like he didn't understand why it happened. One evening when I had a rather unlady-like flatulent episode, I blamed one on my other dogs, Nero, who is all of 7 lbs soaking wet. DH looked at me and said, "If that had been Nero, it would have launched him across the room into the opposite wall." :lmao:

Angela: What a nice trip, I'd love to stay at WL someday. And even though MK was packed it's always nice being there. :goodvibes

Official Non Alphabetical Order TFW CHATTER'S LIST

Lurrvtheduck: Z
IF I missed you name or you guys see a name left off let me know.
Also If I missed your "Focker" Title let me know.
There was another list but I can not locate my notebook that had that page number.. with us all in alphabetical Order...

UH... and that made TE :furious:

I'm the Self Proclaimed Team Focker Movie Watcher. :3dglasses popcorn::

Although the last new movies I saw were The Dark Knight and Mamma Mia (HSM I think the music will overshadow a lot of the stuff, but they still may be a bit young) both excellent. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

TE: Loving the ABBA songs!

Better get to typing Janet.. and Jo 's slipping too. ;) :rotfl2:

The babysitting is really cutting in to Jo's DIS time. Hope you got a better night's sleep Jo! :hug:

Well, honies. Jon is sick. I'm thinking either a sinus infection or upper respiratory infection. He started heading downhill early this afternoon.

Awww Jen and Jon :hug: :hug:

I'm watching John and Kate plus 8!

Hee I love that show. :cutie: Although it's an excellent birth control device that show. :rolleyes:

My picture in my sig is too big..off to play with it

Loving the siggie pic Ed! :thumbsup2
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Not much from me today. I'm still trying to get my room back together after having moved everything out a few weeks ago to install carpets. It's really just me being lazy and wanting more space. :upsidedow
Tomorrow (well today since it's 4am :scared: ) gonna head up to the IKEA store in Ft. Lauderdale and pick out a new desk that I am in need of and they have one I really like. I might even hit up the Disney outlet store on the way back.
Later :hippie:
I think my insomnia is coming back...i fear that...I need some darn sleep! I was up most of the night then slept late this morning. So annoying, I feel all out of whack.
I hope not Kat, there again you could come here and do the night feeds ;) :rotfl2:
SD is doing SO well (by the way, that's my DS15 for those of you NOT reading my TR....) He hasn't had any pills (valium) since the first day he was prescribed.
Fantastic and it sounded like you had a nice afternoon planned :goodvibes
However, we were surprised to learn we had automatically received a room upgrade. Concierge baby!
Wow fantastic :yay: I'd love to stay there one day!
Dancing Queen..........la la la............feel the beat of the tamberine...............you can dance........you can jive....................la la la time of your live.........................gotta find the words!
:rotfl2:
So, since we're all superb parents, I need some advice. I'd love to introduce Mamma Mia to the girls, but I don't want to explain the whole three daddies thing. Not to mention the scene on the beach with Christine Baranski and the bartender guy! :scared1:
Do I just act like there's nothing there and show them the move or tell them they just can't see it?
Dawn I took my girls and they were fine, over here it's rated a PG so any age is allowed to go as long as with an adult, the girls never said anything about any of the "rude" bits, the music is fantastic :thumbsup2
Oh no! I posted an update on my trip report and I think I have grossed people out!! No one's responding :eek: I think the body hair triage might be too much!!!
I haven't subbed yet, will do when I get home :thumbsup2
IS your sister due back or are you leaving your poor dad to his own devices
Em landed about an hour ago, they're arriving here not long after I go home!
Hi everyone just checking in again, still no Home internet! Jo I see I'm home in Kent now! Did I miss me as I don't have time to read all the pages I just went back a few. So forgive me if I miss Sopmething this week !!
You're still in Suffolk Rosie, driving home in a few hours, I'll post some photos probably tomorrow :thumbsup2
and Jo 's slipping too. ;) :rotfl2:
Also with my fortnight in WDW I'll be bottom of the list this time :sad1: :rotfl2:
Well, honies. Jon is sick. I'm thinking either a sinus infection or upper respiratory infection. He started heading downhill early this afternoon.
How is he? :hug:
Okay, it's my turn to vent about in-laws a bit....
:headache: What a pain!!!!
They've never babysat in 16 years.... NOT once.
My IL's have never baby sat either :sad2:
On a much better note than my previous post, we got the official class lists for DD7's school tonight. Fantastic that must be a relief :goodvibes
I'm not on the list. I feel so unloved and unwanted.:sad2:
Never :hug:
Hope you got a better night's sleep Jo! :hug:
Thanks Z but nope 1.30am and then 5am :faint:
Tomorrow (well today since it's 4am :scared: )
Working????
I'm all packed and ready to go after lunch, hope I don't fall asleep on the drive home :rotfl2:
I know I haven't posted much in the past few days, but I'm still here, Katt! Don't forget about me!!!!:flower3:
:thumbsup2 Got'cha HOW DID I OVER LOOK YOU:guilty: And this list was posted over on TFW 4 and you were not around then.. but still :guilty:
I don't care if she's a freakin' cheerleader, chorist, or band geek. She's still a tramp. ;) :rotfl:
Basically.. if it can wear a skirt.. even if she's a Preacher.. She's a Tramp
:sad: I want a Focker title. :sad:
TE... Title Please on asile 12
Well, honies. Jon is sick. I'm thinking either a sinus infection or upper respiratory infection. He started heading downhill early this afternoon.
Long night ahead of me. :sad2:
:sad2: :hug:
Okay, it's my turn to vent about in-laws a bit....
So, it seems that the agreement to watch our kids during DH's surgery didn't mean anything to them! :mad:
And my MIL wonders why I trust my mom more than her????
I hear ya. We live too far way for my Mom to watch Joshua( when Mom was alive) But if we came to visit I could leave him with her.. NOW...
My FIL.. FLATLY TURNED US DOWN. We went to see him once with the kids when they were smaller.. and ask him if he would watch the kids for a couple of hours.. so we could go to a movie.. HE SAID NO:mad:
HOWEVER.. his TRAMP of a Lady friend has a grandson that he helps baby sit.
NO KIN AT ALL and he would help watch him :furious:
Jodi: :hug: for you too. In-laws STINK. :headache: I had to chuckle when I read your post. I almost predicted what you were going to say because MY in-laws would do the SAME. As soon as my dh pinned them down to a date so that we'd know if they'd babysit for F.F., they SUDDENLY couldn't make it to Michigan until Sept. Funny.....:rolleyes1
Sometimes I wonder why they even PRETEND to care. They've never babysat in 16 years.... NOT once. Not even for us to get a cup of coffee.
Don't let it get to you. My mom is like your mom. She'd do anything to help us out and she's in Boston! But, the reward is that my boys LOVE her and they barely LIKE my in-laws!!
