In response to some posts on other threads, I decided to do some intensive research regarding the DIS boards. After 2 nights without sleep, I have some interesting information (well, some of it is interesting, some....not so much!)

Also, FYI: this thread is located on the Just for Fun/ Community Board. That means of course, that we can write about whatever we want to! (other threads in this area include PMS, Orlando Bloom fan club, and Ugly Betty)
Our sister threads:
Meet the DISers is under Just for Fun/DIS meets which makes sense.
Croc Exchange is Just for Fun/Community Board which means that board can also discuss whatever but we tend to self-limit that thread to the croc exchange cause it would just get too confusing and Tracy's head might explode!

Thanks for doing some research. I did read some of the info for newbies when I WAS one, but it didn't mean too much at the time... It certainly seems like the "friendlier" TRs are getting a crackdown... Good thing we have this thread!

As for the focking spreading all over the place, I got focked the other night at work! I was sitting at my desk and my co-worker walked by turned the corner then stuck his head back around and focked me! I was chatting on the Dis at the time which made it extra funny. He had no idea what was so funny about it as he knows nothing of the Dis but I couldn't stop laughing.

No, but D brought one back for the pregnant flight attendant as a BABY SHOWER GIFT. He plans on wrapping it in duct tape with a note: Do Not Open until Oct. 20th. (her due date...)

There are three Home Depots in the area I live in. I only hit one and I hit the jackpot!

I plan on getting more from the other two so I will have plenty for our trip that is forever away. I heard a rumor that HD was going to do away with the Mickey Head paint chips so I gotta get them when the gettin's good.

OK Fockers here's my plans for my next trippie, let me know if there are any matches...

10/4 arrive MCO @ 6:30 pm and am driving to Tampa, why...

10/5 Busch Gardens, was suppose to go last time and changed my mind last minute and have regretted since I got home

Drive to WDW late afternoon (hopefully prior to rush hour) and check in at POFQ (with anti bacterial wipes, right DLMama ).

Dinner at Prime Time at MGM, I am dieing for some s'mores...

10/6 Epcot and I signed up for the Twinings seminar, I love a good cup of tea. I will hit my fav rides in the am and then wander around the food booths ( I think there is some bak lava to be eaten at the Greek booth )

10/7 MGM and lunch at Sci Fi and a 2 pm meet with Michelle (the DISfamily)

10/8 SEGWAY TOUR BABY!!!! Lunch at Earl's (no shopping this time, you heard it hear first Fockers) and nap back at POFQ prior to MNSSHP.

10/9 I think I am trying Boatwright's for breakfast and then heading home, I have a 11 am flight home

7 days from now I will be in Florida

Yes, I get car AND goat advice so it's a good deal for me! He has 3 more nanny goats bred to the same billy as Noodles so he is gonna call me as soon as one of them starts labor. (I told him I was planning to sleep in the barn during the month of November! ).

And my van has a "vacuum leak...blah blah...mist"
Scheduled to fix it next Wed as that was next time I could be without it for a while. Hope it lasts till then or I'll be hitchin' up the goats!

Right now I work as an Emergency Report Centre Operator at a university. So as long as I am not on the phone/alarm computer I can pretty much do whatever I want which means Dis 24/7. Some shifts I can go the whole 8 hours without a single call coming in so that gives me a lot of free time. Of course other shifts are extremely busy and stressful to the point where I want to just snap at the idiot on the phone. That does not happen very often though so it is a pretty good job, for now. I am hoping to get something else in the near future. The job market where I live is tough though, I will probably end up having to move to Toronto.

Right now I work as an Emergency Report Centre Operator at a university. So as long as I am not on the phone/alarm computer I can pretty much do whatever I want which means Dis 24/7. Some shifts I can go the whole 8 hours without a single call coming in so that gives me a lot of free time. Huge Harry Potter fan here as well.

I read the last book the first day it came out. I am rereading it now but much slower this time around so that I can soak up the details and little things that I may have missed when gobbling it up the first time around.

Me too! I did a fast read starting a midnite when I got it, then a slow read after my DD read it. Now, I am listening to the CDs from the library--that way my 10 yo can hear it too! I have found that when I listen to them I pick up a lot more things (guess I read too fast even when reading slow!)

Anyway, I am home sick this morning (upper resp infection) so DH took the kids to school. I am keeping my mom's schnauzer, Bill, so I woke up with a poodle, a schnauzer, and a kitty on top of me! Then the dogs saw 5 deer in the front field and barked until I got up to see them too.
