When who's due back? :rolleyes1

HI!!!

I'm back, but I'm beat. My head thinks it's 2:23. It's friggin HOT here in NH tonight. Of course we didn't put the AC on before we left because the 10-day didn't lead us to the high 90's whilst we were gone. In fact, I hear that they turned the heat on one morning less than 5 days ago to get the chill out of the air. Darn weather.

So, I think sleeping will be hard, and that's too bad! :worried: Woody's already come down - unusual - but I know he's too hot, poor thing.

The trip was fantastic, but D's not home until tomorrow and he has the camera (and my suitcase, love that guy - customs is very easy with no bags!) and so I can't post anything yet.

I didn't even try to read anything, just thought I'd pop in and say hi before I make it an early night.

So, who's doing my recap? popcorn::

Good evening Fockers. I hope everyone was able to stay cool this weekend and have some fun.
It has rained here and cooled down a lot. My neighbor mowed my front lawn for me while I was out of town. I was the sponsor for my 3rd cousins Conformation today. It was a nice mass and her dad reserved a banquet room for a yummy dinner afterwords. I went to my nieces first recital on Sat. She is only 3 so her group was so cute up on stage. I also managed to fit in a party Sat. night. My second cousin and his wife drove so I got to have a few beers while there. It was nice because my cousin did all the running to the cooler for mine, his mom's, and wifes beer. He was such the gentleman. It was a very busy very fun weekend and I enjoyed every minute of it. I was even able to fit in a White Castle meal.

Forgive me for not quoting, but my time's limited tonight - HI EVRYBODY!!!

CE Welcome back! I can't wait to hear all about it :yay: I was only in Paris for 5 nights and I swear it took a solid week to get back on US time. :headache:

Kat et all... Can you even reach the ripe old age of adulthood without a bad tequila night under your belt?!

I'll catch up more tomorrow - 'night all!

We had fun! We did realize at some point today (a random light bu;lb went off) that sitting outside in 90 degree weather ingesting margaritas makes you drunker faster... :sad2:

I win.

No, really. I win.

What do I win? I win the MOST DEDICATED DISER.

My power went out at 4:30 pm today. Tornado sirens wailing away, storm of the century outside. Winds in excessive of 70 mph. Etc. My DH took us to dinner at the Mexican place (no tequila, sorry) and then home again. Still no power. It's 90 degrees out. Humid as Heck. And we have NO power. So, my DH charged his laptop in the car, set up the portable radio and dialed in his Sirius signal from the mini-van so I could listen to the radio and set me up to DIS with his cell phone doing duty as the modem.

yeah. I win.

BTW, it passed WHINEY hot a bit ago. No a/c. It's now &*%$#$ hot.

mel:banana:

You forgot that T2 and LL have been MIA for a few days, although T2 did pop her head in to say "Hi" and Kate is dealing with heat and doesn't finish home school until next month. Right? :confused3

Other than that, you ROCK Janet!! :woohoo:

Hi CE! We've missed you!

That is quite ingenious of you. Sorry it is still so hot for you. Here the rain seemed to make it a lot cooler. I would say it is around 75 now.

HEY! I just checked the thermometer and you're right! It's 79 but it's SO humid! I didn't realize it was cooler...Don't want to open up the windows if it's so damp but it did cool down.

There is another round of storms about to come through!

Any idea how bad it is going to be? I drove part way home from St. Claire Shores in a storm today. Luckily it was going NE and I was going SW. We only met for a short time but our time together was memorable.:rotfl:
