V,,just get through the work day...

I saw an ad in the classifieds on Monday for a Bassett Hound at the local shelter,,I called Tuesday morning, and there were 2 applications put in for him already, they called me back this morning and 1 application didnt work out, so we are 2nd in line, I`m going to go look at him and fill out the Application, if it doesnt work out that would be fine,,I still think of the house as Murphys, but Basset hounds are so cute and small!!

Mel,,,Baby is still in the rabbit hutch,,,the chicks are coming tomorrow or Friday..

Just got showered...couldn't think of a good reason but did it anyway...

Twilight is a form of sedation that you are still awake, but not "all there." I was under that when they did my glaucoma surgery. DH says it's actually "truth serum" which explains why my glaucoma dr says whenever he sees me, "I learned alot about you during your surgery...heh heh heh..."



I'm dying to see pics of the chicks. Ha that rhymes.

So here is my embarassing story for today. I just went to get up from my desk and I didn't realize the key board wire was wrappe aaround my foot...you all see hwere this going right? Yep..I did a header landed on my right knee which is now all scraped up. It doesn't seem to be swelling. It hurts like heck (like rug burns do) and my pride is bruised

Getting ready to go out to lunch. Once of the girls we work with is getting married on Saturday so this is her little celebration for her.

Jo, as you know, mine finished up last week. We have to have 180 days of school, but I always do more just to cover myself. The public school kids here get out today. I'll give mine until mid-August and then start back full time, but we cover math all summer and the 8 year old needs to work on spelling this summer. Poor kid inherited his mother's spelling ability.

You really are amazing homeschooling them, I find it hard enough to sit down and help with homework, not because I don't understand it just the whole "doing" it!

Mine will be out June 10 Ten 1 week later we will be in Disney..
They have 76 days off. They go back like Aug 23

76 days holiday are they still alive at the end of it?

Jo: My kiddos get out the 13th. They don't go back until Sept 3rd I think. That's a long break, but we gave up our Feb. vacations as a district to have longer off in summer!

I was going to respond to everyone, but can I just cry instead? I'm in so much pain. I can't stand up straight. Sitting hurts. Standing hurts. Laying down hurts... I called the doctor and they want me to come back in today and get an other sonogram and figure out what to do. K's going to go with me, but I won't know what time to come in until after 11 since that's when the sono lady comes in.
I just hate this. I feel so bad that my kids have to see me this way. I'm normally so tough. I don't cry. I'll try to let you all know how I'm doing when I can, okay? Thank you for being my buddies and so great when I need to whine.

So here's my story.... I took the kids to the dentist yesterday - thankfully NO CAVITIES!! BUT when it came down to cleaning time, Maddie freaked out on me. She wouldn't open her mouth and tried jumping out the chair. WTH??? She's never done that before! She's had her teeth cleaned since she was 3 years old. I was so angry with her for acting like that and basically freaking out all the other kids with her hysterics. The hygentist finally gave up and just did the fluoride treatment. She has to go back on Friday for the cleaning and they're going to put sealants on her back teeth. They already told me they're going to give her the twilight gas.

Strange, has something happened recently to make her freak out?

Cleaning my house.. ( just in case the plane crashes).. don't want anybody to see messy closets and untidy drawers.. etc..want them thinking my house was ALWAYS like this. I try.. Used to do it... then came KIDS

Well, it's cloudy again. But, that's fine with me. I'm going to stay home today and hopefully spackle and tape the holes/seams in my "office under the stairs" today.

I just read the "Dead End Dating" series by Kimberly Raye (Dead End Dating, Dead and Dateless & You're Coffin or Mine?). I am on the 3rd now and thew are pretty cute. A 4th comes out sometime in July I think.

Got my grocery order this morning. Always seems like so little for all the $. Another long day, KC is going to some pod cast taping today so I won't being seeing him till late tonight. Meh! We're going to a circus tomorrow, it's being held on the school field, it's a proper company and they're erecting the big top on the field so all the kids can watch! Remember Ellie did the talent contest well the winners get to perform at the circus tomorrow night, quite an experience! It's just a human circus, acrobats, clowns etc no animals, I can remember as a kid going to a circus and seeing lions and elephants etc!

hey all, just a drive by!! went to therapy today for masen ds(2), then went to grocery store, then mall. bath and body has a sale now. they have discontinues scents for $3 each. my 9yr old son wanted some shower gel!!! he's so funny, he's just like a girl. he checks himself out in the mirror all the time.

after the mall we went to mcdonalds with a playplace. there was this little girl (about 4-5) was acting like a brat, being mean to all the other kids. she kept taunting masen , saying , hit me, hit me, like 20 times. so0......masen hit her, lightly on the leg. then , she says "i'm telling, you hit me" and proceeds to tell her mom, "that little boy hit me" wth??? what is wrong with kids today? her mom was fine , she just say go play and be nice. i think she knows how the little girl is bc she told her numerous times, play nice.


so that was my day. hope everyone else is well.
