Hi Fockers Just dropping in after another long dayat work!! This weekend I am off 3 days Sat, Sun and Monday!! Can't wait. Tomorrow I go to lunch with the Boss she's treating us. I also got my 6 month eval. Boss is notorius for not giving any scores over 3 ( good) I got 3 fours !! Iwas thrilled !!

Truly, maybe it's D being away so much, but I find I'm a better mommy if I have a week away from them. I talk to them every day on the phone, but this will be my 4th long (week or more) trip without them, and several overnights for weddings and such. I just don't mind. Maybe I'm a bad mom, but...

I went to the car this morning and I'd left it unlocked all night with several hundred $ of golf gear in the trunk Luckily it was all still there, it's because I had opened the hood to refill the windscreen wash and forgot to lock the car!!!! Thank goodness it was still there otherwise I would have been in trouble

Oh and boring to you but exciting to me I just got a new driver (golf club)

It was $3.68/gallon the other day....but I think it's higher now.

Absolutely ridiculous, over here at the pumps it's over £5 (about $10) per gallon It's costing about $40 extra to fill up our tank than last year

It has taken nearly a year to get it though It was pricey though about $260 Should have waited to buy in Florida

Wow that's a big commitment, the girls sing in the choir but it tends to average about twice a month and once a week for practise, did I tell you that the choir master thinks Ellie has a fantastic voice and wants her to audition for the Southern Cathedral Singers, this involves singing about 6 times a year at various Cathedrals in Southern England

Hey girls, just checkin' in - it's been a rough couple of days. I took Evan to DLR on Tuesday, and he ended up getting his fever again later that night. Must have been those 2 rides on the Matterhorn. You can bet Andy gave me an ear full about that.
Yesterday I spent 4 frickin' hours at the dentist - by the time I got home, I was wiped out and ready for bed. Good thing he's HOT and he wears CROCS!

4 day weekend

Now I have started creating my to do list and I am

The weekend shoud go like this:

Saturday - Jimmy has birthday party from 2 -4pm. After that his friends Matt and Rose (brother & sister) are coming for a sleepover.

Sunday - Matt & Rose's parents and my inlaws are coming over for a BBQ.

Monday - Go to see Rose's brownie troop march in the local Memorial Day parade. May or may not do anything after that.

So tomorrow I want to Clean, Clean, Clean, Clean everything. Jim is just getting over that stomach virus he had so now I need to disinfect EVERYTHING.!!! I need to grocery shop, for the BBQ and for our normal everyday stuff. I have get a card for the birthday party and I have to wrap the gift. Finally I need to get laundry done. What are the chances this is all getting done before the birthday party on Saturday I think I will have Jim take Jimmy to the party so I will have that little 3 hour window to get stuff done and maybe relax

I 've decided to do a garage sale too, but on ly one day, Saturday 6/14, unless the weather is bad, then I will have it 6/20.

I already asked for the day off before to do all the setup, I plan on going through the house this weekend and gather everything up and store it in the guest room.

With the gas prices the way they are I am glad I got my plane tickets when I did. Driving now would cost us about 3x what we paid in airfare

You ain't kiddin' sista! I paid $152 RT for Kelly and me (132 when Murph and I went in Feb) Won't be seeing those prices again, got $208 for next Feb. Though Murph hasn't let me get her ticket yet, as she is only 90% sure she is going. I told her I am booking since the prices dropped about $40 last weekend.

I was able to get tomorrow off !!!!!

8:00 am- Despite the fact that it’s barely 40 degrees, and my advertisement stated 9am!!!, there are people waiting on my lawn.

9:00 am- I’ve made $3.00. There have been lots of people. Old people. People who do NOT want to buy my FP Little People Castle.

9:16 am- I’ve made $36.50. Two guys who don’t speak English came and wanted to know if my used radar detector worked. Uh, yeah. It’s relatively useless if it doesn’t. Unless you just LIKE to stick that little suction cup thingy to stuff....

9:47 am- I’ve made $50.50 so far. Two ladies just came and got a bunch of stuff. One of them begged me to use the potty. She seemed ok so I let her. She bought my tinkerbell shirt.

10:05 am- Ok, I’m up to $62.00. I sold the movies Shark Tale and Polar Express. And my fingers are numb.

What's the update Mel... Looks like you are doing pretty good for a Thursday.

Jimmy loves BTMRR, but that is the biggest coaster he has been on. I think we will ride it baby swap in August, and then Jim and I will decide if he is ready for it or not...AK is the second day of our trip, I don't want him scared for the rest of it, KWIM?

Jim and I haven't even rode it yet, so I don't really know what is like!

I like it.. but I have to prepare myself after it begins it's Backwards roll then hits the darkness... it can be easy to get a little dizzy for some reason. Must be the way it angles you.

I made 25 cents since 10:05.

11:08 am- Whoa! Big rush....I have 6 people here now.

11:15 am- Sold some teenage mutant ninja turtles and a turkey platter.
Total profit since 10 am: $12.25

11:25 am- Someone finally asked what kind of car is under the car cover. Here in Michigan, if you have a garage, you probably have a play car. I’m surprised it took that long for someone to ask. It’s a Mustang by the way.

12:30 pm- This lady came and cleaned us out of Pokemon toys and cards. Whoo Hoo! She bought lots of stuff and her son was so cute I gave him some stuff.....what?! Oh, he was pretty cute.
Total after the “pokemon” lady- $34.25 (since 10 am)

Yay! The sun’s out! See that blue sky up there????

12:57 pm- A nice guy came and took some of DH’s useless “man items” and 3 of our Xbox games....new total: $66.25

Yesterday gas(the cheapest-regular) was at $3.99/gallon. Last week I put gas in at BJs for $3.76. Who knows what it's at today or tomorrow for that matter.

Went to go see Indiana Jones last night and it was good! It still had it's quipping dialogue and fun adventure and Harrison is getting up there in age, but still holding up.

Not much going on today. Just some cleaning.

My mom has been driving me crazy all week. I wonder if the moon affects her sometimes? It's so stressing and these are the days when I wish I lived in my own place. Ugh I swear I'm changing my name to Cinderella, because I feel like her today.

You guys are no help at all! I shouldn't be staying anywhere, but with it being peak season, I'm afraid we'll need to be at a WP first thing in the AM.

At least the AKV worked out...I long to stay there!!!!! Did you make any decisions about June yet??

Another little thing I need some advice on. I received an email from the people we are renting points from in DEC. We are missing a reservation for 2 of our days (one the first day we are to move to BCV and one in the middle). I do not care too much about the first day, as we can always stay at the POP one extra night in the beginning. But I really don't want to move in the middle of our stay~ for ONE NIGHT! They have also wait listed us for our entire stay at BWV. Why we really wanted those resorts is the ease of walking to Epcot. They told me that if something doesn't open up by Friday, they will need to change our reservation to a different resort or cancel it. What would you do? What resorts would you ask for???? Being we are almost 6 months out, would there be anything good left? Currently our dates are: Nov 27- Dec 6. We are staying at POP the first 3 nights (to get us through Thanksgiving weekend).

I am with V on this one, WTH are they talking about??? If you booked the whole time already you should have whatever the original ressie is....and if they wait list you , you can just hope. Just make sure to check what days you get if the wait list comes through, maybe thats what happened to split up the ressie???? Have you spoken to them on the phone? Good luck with it all, I['m sure it'll all make sense eventually!

URGH! We had 2 friends coming over for dinner today, I sent DH out for potatoes and other food, and when he comes home he said they canceled. There are 4 lbs of ribs ready to go in the crock pot. I am so irritated. I am not making them today!!! I put them back in the freezer and I'm gonna make 'em over the weekend when KC is home for dinner. Darn people!

I guess we are doing a a whole lotta nothing today, I'm gonna see if DH will wanna hit target today...if not I guess we can talk a walk around. I'm just annoyed that this was planned and now we got nothin!
