So, today we walked in a walk-athon for the special needs camp that they run here.
That's great Mel and lovely photo too!

What does this mean?

1. You are getting tea from the Chinese place?
or
2. The Chinese are taking away your tea?
:rotfl2: Chinese takeaway is what we call takeout!!! Oh and tea is dinner!

I "presonally reflected" for most of the weekend and the paper is DONE!
Wooohoo :yay:

:rotfl2: Tea = Supper, hence Jo is getting chinese food from the chinese restaurant for tea!!
Thanks Rosie :hug:

I'm one of the 55. Are You?
Yep!!!

oh, after reading your posts, i think i want to take up golf as a hobby!!
:rotfl2:

Then, I finally went to bed around midnight. He didn't come up until 2:00 and then seemed to think I'd be interested in some "couple" time.
OMG :rotfl2:

Sorry for the drive-by post guys. I'm reading, just not posting much, my life lately has been pretty uninteresting. Sleep, go to work, hang out, repeat cycle next day.
Hi Lessa, we miss you :hug:

I'm back... he's fine!
That's great V, such a relief!

I am now the proud owner of 2 non-nursing, non-granny bras!
Yeah :yay:

Slate, she would need to have to tea in the first place to have it taken away!
Oooooooooo :rotfl2:

I know I asked before but I ma trying to get the contact list going for us Focker Peoples. I ahve some peoples info..All I need is any or all of the following info you would like to provide:
Can you e-mail me back so I have yours!

Gosh, this thread has gotten long in a matter of days! Anyway, joining up!
Welcome, just jump in and chat :goodvibes

I stopped at the store on the way home, bought bags of KISSES and HUGS, put them in some tulle bags,and attached a poem. The poem reads:
For everything you do
Hugs and kisses for you.
That sounds so sweet, we don't have that day here!

Hi girls...
I'm kind of in a sad mood today. My mom was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension about a month ago.
Oh Dawn I'm so sorry, you know we're all here for you :hug:

BTW I was laughing at all the big chest talk, sounds like I'm not the biggest anymore, wooohooo :rotfl2:

Where is Jo???
Thanks for being the only one to notice Rosie, the others obviously don't love me as much :snooty: :rotfl2:

I dream of reduction surgery. A friend had a reduction years ago and loved it. I read somewhere though that they remove, uhhhh, well you know, suck the stuff out and then reattach them. :scared1: With my luck, they'd attach them inside out or something. :laughing:
Here is where you would LOVE my new Invention.. "SNAP ON B-O-O-B-S" they would come in a kit with assorted sizes. When you want to go work out you can go all-natural or "Snap on a size B" If you are single... and out Looking.. sure... POP those D's on if that's what you want...But the BEST thing about these... Your husband can take them with HIM if you are not in "the Mood". :rotfl2:
Personally I think a size B or C is all anyone needs.

You should see me trying to catch up with our oldest son. I do this fancy move where I look around to make sure no one's watching, then put my arms really close to my chest, chipmunk style, and go for it.
I have that move too I thought I invented it :lmao: :lmao:

Jeff is obsessed with H scale trains. He also has a partially assembled car in his parent's basement. Yep, that's right. Partially assembled CAR in the BASEMENT! Men. Don't they think ahead, even a little, tiny bit? Whatever. Why can't he collect something small, like teacups or something????

If he did collect teacups.. they would take over your house... I need to take a picture of out "Collection"
He just recently brought MORE into my familyroom.. do not know what he did with the stuff I had stored above the Computer center.:mad:

Well as Rosie noticed I've been MIA since Sunday, we went out for the day yesterday (it was a National holiday here for May Day) we went to the RHS gardens at Wisley, very pretty place but as we went with my DSis and her 2 babies it wasn't exactly a peaceful day! Anyway when we got home we had a power cut, I thought oh it doesn't matter my laptop will work, well it did but for the internet to work the modem has to be plugged in :mad: :rotfl2: The power was only off for 15 minutes and I managed to get our dinner cooked when it went off again this time for about 4 hours :faint: By the time it came back on it was bed time anyway!!!!!

Oh and yeah I have played golf today :rotfl:

Well as Rosie noticed I've been MIA since Sunday, we went out for the day yesterday (it was a National holiday here for May Day)

See, I didn't ask because I remembered you'd said Monday was a holiday. :goodvibes

But of course I missed you just the same. :hug:

Thanks for being the only one to notice Rosie, the others obviously don't love me as much :snooty: :rotfl2:
Ahem. :sad2:

;)

Here is where you would LOVE my new Invention.. "SNAP ON B-O-O-B-S" they would come in a kit with assorted sizes.
That's basically what I've GOT! :lmao: "push-up" = close to C "Padded" = B "Cotton, no wire" = A

Oh and yeah I have played golf today :rotfl:
Knew it! :rotfl: Sounds like a nice day!

Well as Rosie noticed I've been MIA since Sunday,
I noticed.. I figured you were around doing something.

I figured you were busy sneezing or trampolining. :yay: ;)
:angel: :angel:

Oh and yeah I have played golf today :rotfl:
YOU... GOLF ???... Since When ;)

That's basically what I've GOT! :lmao: "push-up" = close to C "Padded" = B "Cotton, no wire" = A

:cloud9: That's what I'm talking about. I Miss those days :guilty:
Yeah... Rather than those things that you :STUFF" into your bra... or have to have implanted... My "Snap-On's" would do JUST THAT snap on your chest. We will have to Implant medical Snaps into your chest... then pop on the Silicone .. and the best part.. no matter how big they are... NO BRA !!!:woohoo: They will stay ...like a Good Collie !!!:woohoo:

Hi girls...
I'm kind of in a sad mood today. My mom was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension about a month ago. I had read up on it a bit, but not a lot because I like to be a positive person and I didn't know to what extent she has it. After her heart cath last month, she said it was mild. I thought that sounds "not too bad", but she's been acting weird.
She's been extra nice, and non-judmental (She's usually pretty hard to take some days). She came to stay over a week or two ago and hang with the kids and me. While it was just DH and I she said she felt the need to clean her house out so we wouldn't have to do it. I thought it was weird, but sometimes she can be dramatic, you know? :confused3
So, finally last night she tells me that her life expectancy is 2-5 years. :sad1: She told me that the disease is fatal and she thought I knew that. I knew something was up. :guilty:
I'm sad today, but I can't talk about it with the kids, because it's silly to worry them. I just pushed it out of my mind last night because it was late when we talked. but today it's getting to me.
I haven't spoken to my dad in years, and my relationship with my brother is really only there because of my mom... I feel like I'm losing my family. :sad1: I just want to cry.

Sorry to be a downer, but I kow this is a safe place I can say what I want and not worry about who I'm talking to getting upset too.
:grouphug: Thanks for listening... :sad1:
Dawn, we're here for you. :hug: :hug: :hug:
:thumbsup2 Are these the VBs? What did you wind up with?
I ended up with the Maggie bag in Medallion and the Small Backpack in Citrus. The 3rd bag is a new toiletry bag - I'll post pics when I get home.
What? Us 38C gals needs bras too you know! :lmao:

Hence, why I went into Lane Bryant. It actually made me feel pretty good. When I asked the scared sales girl if they had anything in my size, she said, "Oh YEAH! TONS of stuff". I actually took one of their smaller sizes! Much better than having to buy the biggest size in Kohls, if I can even find it!
But do they carry brand names or just their brand? I'm a Maidenform gal or VS.

BTW I was laughing at all the big chest talk, sounds like I'm not the biggest anymore, wooohooo :rotfl2:
Yeah, but you're the only one whose photo is splashed across the DIS! :lmao:;)
Thanks for being the only one to notice Rosie, the others obviously don't love me as much :snooty: :rotfl2:
Whatever!:snooty:
;)

I already have a few big bags (ok, some is missing out of one bag...:rolleyes1 ) because we make little bags of "Pixie Dust" to thank CMs at WDW and I just made some up for our May trip.

This is a great idea. I would like to use it but I wonder how the candy would hold up in late Aug. Maybe I could hand them out with a wet wipe attached to them:rotfl: .

When are you having your garage sale Mel. We are having one next Saturday. I have a TON of stuff and I would love to make enough money to at least cover our room at Pop:thumbsup2

See! WE have a PLAN people!!! :lmao: I am planning on May 22, 23, 24th. I know that probably sounds weird to some of you, but weekday garage sales are the norm here. Growing up (on the East Coast) NO ONE had garage sales any day but Sat or Sun....strange? :confused3

WIll head over to check it out!
Thanks!!! :cool1:

Thanks! We went to Ikea and got a chair, a storage cabinet, a side table, two CD towers, two coffee tables and a bookcase back about 1 1/2 years ago when we totally revamped our family room. So, it's one of our go-to places as well - except that it's a long trek!

I kind of have fun putting them together and this was the first time we have ever had a problem with missing hardware. ;)

Have a great "nothing" day! :goodvibes

Thanks CE! I think that our dressers had extras too. Completely perplexed my DH....

That's great Mel and lovely photo too!
Thanks! It was great fun!

Hi Lessa, we miss you :hug:
We do! We do! :love:

Thanks for being the only one to notice Rosie, the others obviously don't love me as much :snooty: :rotfl2:
I do Jo. :rolleyes1

I figured you were busy sneezing or trampolining. :yay: ;)

Ha! :rotfl2:

Well, we entered PA on 81, but then we took 78 over into NJ, cut across NJ and then up to CT. :thumbsup2 No offense meant to Pennsylvanians, but I get fed up with 81 up into the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area just because of the truck traffic combined with the climb. :rolleyes1 It's also why we usually drive 90 to IL rather than 80 - it's just the hills and the trucks.
You were on 78!!!!! then you were about 10 minutes from my house!!!!!!!!:headache:

What? Us 38C gals needs bras too you know! :lmao:

Looks like 38c might be the official Focker size:rolleyes1
Yeah, but you're the only one whose photo is splashed across the DIS! :lmao:;)

We noticed, If we didn't hear from you today we were sending out the national guard, or at least the Royal Canadian Mounties;)

Well as Rosie noticed I've been MIA since Sunday, we went out for the day yesterday (it was a National holiday here for May Day) we went to the RHS gardens at Wisley, very pretty place but as we went with my DSis and her 2 babies it wasn't exactly a peaceful day! Yep, everyone around here has them on the weekend. We are having ours June 7th!:thumbsup2 I have a TON of stuff. The shed and the garage are full. I have all of Jimmy's baby things, stroller, car seats, etc. that I am hoping to make some $ on:thumbsup2

Looks like 38c might be the official Focker size:rolleyes1

Speak for yourself:sad2:

Good :rotfl2:

Bit of both ;) :rotfl2:

Sorry saw your post afterwards :hug:

YOU... GOLF ???... Since When ;)
Yeah I play just a little :rotfl2:

Yeah, but you're the only one whose photo is splashed across the DIS! :lmao:;)
Yeah I keep meaning to hack into your photobucket account and delete that :rotfl2:

:hug:

I just realized I haven't provided any updates since my initial freakout regarding Leo's Bday party RSVPs....

Well, as of today, 6 of the twelve invited have replied "Yes"! Leo's pretty stoked. I'm a tad apprehensive. Remember me, Mom of the Year? I do all right with my own guy, but I'm no good when it comes to other kids. I'm not mean or anything, I just never know what to say/do with them. I was an only child, I never babysat - I have no idea what I'm doing! :rotfl: I'm hoping some parents stay and don't just drop-off.

:grouphug: :hug: :grouphug: :hug: At least now you know and can make the time you spend together that much more special.

Looks like 38c might be the official Focker size:rolleyes1

I think my training bra was a 38C LOL. Put it this way, they called me "F-Troop" during my wrestling days. Lovely huh?:sad2:

I just realied I haven't provided any updates since my initial freakout regarding Leo's Bday party RSVPs....

Eekk I hope you get some parental help too! Hopefully you have a carp load of activities to entertain them all day! At least you know Leo will have a blast!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Working on a update on my TR today, it's been a while. It's beautiful out but I wanna relax and stay in. It's my KC free day and after yesterday I need the quiet time.
I got a postponement on my jury duty summons- so no jury duty for me tomorrow!!! :yay:
I made the pasta over the weekend and there is enough left for dinner tonight so no cooking either- WOOOO!:dance3:
Thursday is another "DIS Meet" even tho we met already...we are going to do something in the city. Nicole786 leaves on Saturday so it's our last time to hang out. I'm hoping for some strolling in the West Village and some Magnolia cupcakes!! Magnolia Bakery
Anyways off to update... have a beautiful day!
V - I wouldn't worry about it...Once all the kids are togehter they won't even know the grown-ups are around. You won't have to do much talking to htem except to say, foods' out, let's play this game, etc...
Are you having this party in your house?:eek: Did you send a reminder note for those who haven't responded yet
There are games?!?!?! :faint: I'm having it at a local park with a BIG playground. Party's 3 hours long - I figured I'd let them play on the playground for 45 minutes or so, eat pizza, eat cake, play some more whilst I clean up, open presents, then kick 'em all out. ;)
This is a great idea. I would like to use it but I wonder how the candy would hold up in late Aug. Maybe I could hand them out with a wet wipe attached to them:rotfl: .
We handed out candy in January when on 80 degree days. As long as backpack was out of the sun, most of the candy did fine. We include a note like, "A bit of Pixie Dust to thank you for making our trip more magical. Have a great day! From the Dunbar Family, enjoying Wilderness Lodge (or wherever we're staying) January 17-22." Then I include our email address. I put about 4-5 Kisses in a snack size Ziploc. We hand them out to just about any CM. We aim to hand out about 10-15/day. My favorites are handing them to the janitors. They are so under-appreciated. Sometimes they don't speak English well, so I've learned to say thank you in Mandrain and Spanish. They are always really surprised, and it makes my day to pass the magic along. My kids love to hand them out too, even the three year old. One CM almost cried and said no one ever has said thanks in 10 years. :sad2:
But do they carry brand names or just their brand? I'm a Maidenform gal or VS.
Just their own brand. VS=Victoria Secret? Ha! I haven't been in that store in years. They don't carry size 38ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOP!! :rotfl2: I feel like their display taunts me...."Hey you! Look at our fake b-o-o-b-s. Aren't they great? Don't you wish you could have this cute bra? Ok, go across the hallway now. Your granny store is right over there"! :lmao:
Anyway when we got home we had a power cut,
Is that English for "Power outage"?!? :rotfl:
Here is where you would LOVE my new Invention.. "SNAP ON B-O-O-B-S" they would come in a kit with assorted sizes. When you want to go work out you can go all-natural or "Snap on a size B" If you are single... and out Looking.. sure... POP those D's on if that's what you want...But the BEST thing about these... Your husband can take them with HIM if you are not in "the Mood". :rotfl2:
Personally I think a size B or C is all anyone needs.
If he did collect teacups.. they would take over your house... I need to take a picture of out "Collection"
He just recently brought MORE into my familyroom.. do not know what he did with the stuff I had stored above the Computer center.:mad:
I LOVE your invention!! But really, I'd be fine with the size C snap ins. Will you sell them in individual sizes, or do you have to buy the kit??? But, maybe DH would like the larger sizes to take with him. Hmmm...maybe I will need the kit!
Teacup collection probably would take over the house. Did I tell you he also collects Legos? And, here's the real kicker....we have a big box that contains nothing but empty watch boxes of watches he's bought over the years. Here's our conversation about the empty watch boxes....
Me: "Why? Why do you keep these?"
Jeff: "The watches will be more valuable someday if they have the boxes."
Me: "Fine. Do you plan on selling them"?
Jeff: "No, of course not. These are my memories. Would you sell your memories"?
WHAT?? Does that make any sense? The empty boxes are memories not to be sold?? So we should keep them? :confused3 Like I said earlier, whatever. I'll never figure him out. :headache: He also has all of the orginal boxes from his Legos for the same reason. The Legos are set up in a town, complete with a nice display table.
Looks like 38c might be the official Focker size:rolleyes1
:lmao:
Ummm...yeah. I just brought the average up by about 3 cup sizes.
I just realized I haven't provided any updates since my initial freakout regarding Leo's Bday party RSVPs....
I used to be scared of kids birthday parties too. I actually like it when the parents don't stay. It makes me feel less pressure. Kids do just fine. I usually have a few activities, like relay races, pin the tail on the whatever, etc. But the kids usually end up playing (err...make that making a mess!) with all the toys anyways.
V - I wouldn't worry about it...Once all the kids are togehter they won't even know the grown-ups are around. You won't have to do much talking to htem except to say, foods' out, let's play this game, etc...
