Sorry Fockers!!! I've been busy with Enchanted.

Busy night !! Girls had open house for 8th Grade ,I took them as Kyle had his school physical at the same time . The girls and I checked out the new Ollies . They had crocs for $10!! The place was packed as this was the Grand Opening !! We also got the girls Halloween costumes!! Steph got a Hoochie Momma costume and Sam got one that comes to her ankles. Steph was not amused when I mentioned that!!!
Judy wentto she DSIL and said she is still very sick !!
Can't believe in 10 days we will be in Disney!!

Today is the last day before Ellie starts her new school, we have to nip to the supermarket but that's it, just check bags are packed etc etc!!!

OOPS, Jo I forgot to mention your trip to Rachel. I guess I wasn't sure if all of you would overlap or not. Will you ever forgive me? Hey, why is it that I am pretty much missing everyone by a couple of days? I guess I'll just have to take the hint. I'll PM you my #. If we can meet up for a few minutes that would be awesome! If not that is OK. I'm sure there will be another time.

I fired our pool guy in a note so I'm hoping he doesn't show up this morning. For some reason he didn't think vacuuming was part of the weekly cleaning. I'm not paying $85 a month for 7, yes, I counted, minutes of work each week. Thankfully Mitch likes to clean the pool, but I think he needs to rest on occasion.

Dang! $85 a month isn't enough for me to move down there and do it for you. I'm going to take it he wasn't good eye candy either.

Just sneaking in a the sly....trying to rent points since all the hotels are booked and my pin is not worth using for the price they're giving. Oh well...

We've sort of been busy these past few days. I've read along here and there but by the time I go to quote I need to get something else done.

I checked my final grades online today and I have an A- in Keyboarding and A in Allied Health Math and my GPA was 3.9. Yay Me!

I was getting DR's childcare paperwork ready today to send in the mail and just as I was walking out the door to the post office he goes, 'I don't want to go to the new place, I want to go to MY school.' (His normal preschool that I have sent him to all along) That little booger. Now I don't know what to do.

The one at my school is a little more convienent for me since it's right there but he'll have to get used to new kids and new teachers. Plus, the new place seems to separate the little kids from the big kids. The little ones are in a completely different area than the big ones.

At the old one, well, we know everyone...the director, the teachers and the kids. Lindsey went there for 2 years of preschool and DR is doing the same. I know the curriculum and activities they teach and do. Plus, all the kids he goes to preschool with will be in his Kindy classes next year. He has his little friends there and was excited to see them last week. The downside is that they combine the older kids with the younger (after school) and that is where DR has a problem. Too much noise and excitment. Although, looking at my schedule that will only happen 2 times a week.

Just some things to think on, but I am happy to hear him say that he does want to go back to 'his' school. He had me worried about it this summer and second guessing things.

The kids are in the tub creating a ring around it. Gotta get them out and into bed. Lindsey really seems to be liking first grade and no problems behavior wise so far. Let's hope she keeps it up and I won't have as many problems as last year. She's doing excellant in the reading she's brought home so far and I'm proud of her.

Rachel - Thanks for asking. Nothing yet. It is ridiculous. You know, I will be off work starting the 21st. I head to WDW on the 27th. I'll bet you Sept. 29th I'll get a call. That's Epcot day. Good or Bad I'll be in the right place for a few good drinks!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you guys see the new "early bird" offer from Southwest Airlines? For an extra $10/departure you can board before some of the other passengers. Supposedly you will be within the first 30 to board depending on the number of frequent and business select passengers there are. I went ahead and did it. It assigns you a ticker #. I purchased round trip for Rockie and myself. I'll let you know whether it is worth it.

I gave Doug his new grill yesterday. Our anniversary isn't until next weekend but I figured he could get it assembled. That way we can try it out next week. He was thrilled! I am such a good wife.

He's going to the national drag racing in Indy on Saturday with his niece's DH and their twin boys. They are a handful. I hope they do OK.

I'm going to clean the garage today. I need to haul some things to the pole barn and make room for Doug's car before winter.

Only 10 more work days and 23 total days to WDW!!!!

Great gift! I gave M a grill when we first started dating. After putting it together, I decided we could get through anything together.

We went to a football meeting for Mitch's school, Ole Miss, and after went to dinner. As we're waiting for our food, a man notices M's Ole Miss shirt and says his daughter goes there. Who knows who you'll meet?

Debra, the meeting took over most of the bar and there was a guy there from Mississippi State. They decided he was ok because he was from MS and not a Gator fan.

Not much going on with us today. Lindsey is in school. DR and I just worked on his school stuff. We just got done playing a game of Memory and he's being a sore loser at this moment.

No big plans for out Labor Day weekend either. Well, sort of. We have some things planned out but not much. Tomorrow we are having a yard sale and then Monday we may be going with friends to a county fair. Plenty of days to get to sleep in though and I think we are all needing it.

Thanks Rachel. Right now I'm doing Medical Assisting but may go for my LPN. The program is filled up for this fall so I if I go that route I won't be able to start until next fall. So I have until at least the beginning of the year to think about it since testing would be in Jan/Feb sometime.

Hey all. Last night was a crazy one. We went out to dinner at olive garden first then met up with some friends for one of their birthday. We got ripped! I can't even remember how many shots we did, it was nutso. I feel ok today tho, surprisingly. I did do a little drunk yelling at KC at some point, but he can take it. LOL.

We had plans to get up early for dim sum, but that isn't happeneing, esp. since KC is still sleeping. BUT the weather is gorgeous and I wanna go out. I think we might walk the Brooklyn Bridge towards Manhattan and then get some ice cream under the bridge.

Isn't it weird we spend so much time together? He keeps making plans with me. I'm trying to give him as much space as I possible can. I even told him to go visit his uncle in NJ for a few days next week so he can clear his head. I am confident he will realize we can be happy, i just hope it doesn't take a million years for it to happen.

I am taking my 8hr class to renew my security license this week and then the job should hopefully work out in another week or 2.

Just keep swimming, right?

Ellie had a fantastic first day at her new school, she came home absolutely hyper

Jess and I had a nice day too, first I took her and her friend shopping then back here for lunch. Then Jess and I went and played golf and we did something different, instead of just hitting our own ball we took it in turns hitting each others so if she put her ball in trouble I had to get it out!!! It worked really well though as we had a really good laugh and for the first time ever I didn't have to nag or tell her off about something

Hi Everyone I had a good day at work !Invited myself to lunch with 2 of the bosses , who say they keep me around cuz I amuse them. Not for my work performance Another boss said he was gonna go till he found out I was going I smacked him up side his young head !! I just don'tget no respect!!!! But my boss bought me8 Tacups for my English Teas, which the consumers LOVE!!!! SoI guess someof my work is okay

Then I got home and the Drama started !First I get a note fome someone who aw that a bank was closing acountsthat were inactive and one was mine that as an account for the girls that I have had for years so I haveto go to th bank andraise holy *****tomorrow!!Next I findoutthe friendof Judy's who originally was going with us this month but went with someone else had a HUGE fight with this other person and is flying home !! Why should I care well she drove down in the other perons vehicle butn top as OUR Car carrier I know for sure there is gona be fireworks over this !!!! Judy says never will we even consider going with another family !! I think she may becomea convert to the Dis Families!! We at least know how to respect each other !!!

I tell ya I really do have a Best Seller !! I think I am a Drama Magnet!!!!

I am not a fan of the mods or deluxes cuz they are to expensive !! Pop has all I need a bed, a pool and a foodcourt!!!Also they seem so spread out and I walk enuff in the Parks Compare a value to offsite that's my suggestion!!!

I have been so busy at work and haven't had time to post. I was afraid to look today but was relieved that you haven't been too chatty. I don't even know where to begin. My boss is exactly what I expected from the interview. We have meetings each morning but we have to stand up. Everyone has been given a title. Oh and I was corrected by him on Thursday. He is the engineering director, not manager. I am still not exactly sure what that means.

All in all, he is growing on me. I went from "I have to get out of here" to " I think I want to stick around until May to see how things go".

Had a yard sale this morning with my SIL. It rained. But we still made $94 ($40 of it is the kids). Going back to my brother's tonight to watch some football and grill some steaks.

Things are just a total drag here. My mother visited for 4 days. It was hellish. I won't go into details but we'll just say that she has some nervous habits that have gotten positively UNBEARABLE. I nearly ripped her head off numerous times.
Thursday I saw Dr. Seigle and I need to have TWO surgeries. I begged him to let me wait till Oct. so I could still go to Disney. So, the first one is on Oct. 5th. The second will be set when he sees how the first one went. I'm beyond upset. However, I'm determined not to think about it till Oct. So, I love you all. And I know you'll all think of me. But, let's not talk about it till Oct. OK?

I cannot WAIT to see Dawn and Jo and Rachel and Angela and Yani and Z. That is what I'm living for.

Yeah, tell me about it Rosie....although I think T has rubbed off on me and I've become a resort snob.
Plus I would like to stay at each resort at least once....but for 1 night that's what's killing me. If it were for 2 nights @ that price I would've booked it without a thought.

I've stayed at all the values, but with free dining and all the offers they're all booked. I'm gonna keep checking though.

I'm gonna keep checking though. Apparently I was told on the DVC Rent/Trade board that all the studios are booked for the dates I'm looking for. But I keep checking and calling and checking online to see if anything has opened up.

About the surgeries...and that's all I'll say 'til Oct. Can't wait to see ya'll too!!!

Hi everyone. Just wanted to let everyone know I did not fall off the face of the earth. My job does not allow me access to a computer and we are not allowed on cell phones. I get home at night and read what you all have posted on facebook and that is about it.

My summer job has now turned in to a fall job and this will be nice for me. I can pick up sub-teaching jobs and just find someone to cover my shift. I will also be able to get out for my observation hours. I only have 20 hours I have to do this term.

I am thinking of changing my next WDW trip to a DL trip. I have only been once. It will mean several days on a train to get there. How I wish my son would fly. Any helpful hints on DL would be great. It looks like the dining is a lot different there. The food plan is way different and I am wondering were we should eat and if I should bother with the food plan or just a character meal and some counter service. I do remember a TS in the Pirate ride but since it will most likely be just me and Bug that will not matter. He won't even ride the Pirate ride. I am also wondering wear to stay. The on-site hotels are out of my price range. We will not have a car. Many years ago when I went I was at a place within walking distance. It was ok as long as Nana wasn't sleeping on the way back. I remember one night a nice dad from another family carried her back for me.

Just wanted mainly to say hi to all and try and read back a few pages. Hope all is well with everyone and hugs to all of you.

The continued Drama Saga of our Carrier ! It is on the Plane coming back as I speak Well at least our friend didn't say forget it and leave it there !!Sooo now we should all fit in the van using the carier to get our stuff to the airport next saturday!!!So apart from getting blow by blow description from Maria tomorrow of what happened , that DRAMA is over!!

Ha! Ha! you say Rosie has a quiet spell WRONG !!!Our neighbor and another very good friend found a suicide note from her hubby!!! Judy was on her way to a benefit for another friends sister when she got the FRANTIC call They spent 4 hours along wit the police searching for him!!! Finally Judy found him by the Gorge He is home now with his uncle who's sticking to him likeglue !!!

Do ya think I am ready for DISNEY!!!!!

Hi Peeps!

Let me tell you, I am exhausted! The kitchen is FINALLY done (almost) and we're moving everything back in. I literally washed every dish, cups, utensil, container, box, you name, I washed it! Where's Madge when you need her?

Anyway, I need to hit up Le Creuset for some new pieces. I'm thinking of a Tuscan theme, antique olive oil cans, herbs, etc. Colors I am thinking are artichoke and a golden tuscan yellow? What do you think? I have some pics of my favorite restaurant at DCA (Mo and I ate there in May) that I'm working with.

Yesterday we went to DLR to celebrate Andy's 40th b-day. It was gorgeously empty, but a little on the warm side. Nothing like Florida, thankfully! We had no more that 10 mins waits on everything until around 6:30, all the 1/2 marathoners started showing up, so we bailed. I've lived in So. Cal for 30 something (Ahem) years, and have never participated in the 5K at DLR, so I challenged Andy for next year. We're going to do the 2010 one!
Another thing, the windows on Main Street were all decorated Halloween themed, but everything else is still "Celebrate" - it looked weird.

I have seen some nice reviews for HoJo but was not sure if it was within walking distance. What is GCV? I have never rented points and usually stay at the value resorts when we go to WDW. Is DL like WDW in that I will want to stay on site for convenience?
