We had a great time in Lancaster. Got home about 8:30 last night and I am wiped Will post some pics later (probably as a min-update on my PTR).

So he goes in and talks to his boss and he said he really wanted him to stay and offered him 3 work at home days a month, fulltime employee with full benefits, and a big bonus at the end of the year

Janet- Def still on for AC. We are only going Fri -> Sat but we are going!!!!! We have confirms from several people (philadisney, mymuse and hopefully pricessalways & tiggerfan4u of their bus fills up).

I should really be breading chicken cutlets but I am tired.

2 long days at work. My back is shot today. I feel hurt all over. I have to make chicken for the next 2 nights dinner. I'll get to it eventually. And the pasta to go with it. KC won't be home for a while so I'm moving slow.

I have a call in shift tomorrow. These shifts are for the birds! It's just in case someone calls out sick but jeez its annoying. Call 2 hours before your shift and if they say come in- rush tog et out of the house in time to make it there. Yeesh. But no shipment tomorrow so I pray I get a day of rest, my body needs it. Then it's one more day till my mini vacation (I'm off Thurs to Sun).

KC has a friend coming by tomorrow so he can build him a PC as well, so that means cleaning up tonight so my house is presentable. MEH.

Anywho I need to cook.

It sounds like everyone is doing pretty well from the little that ive read.

Todays my first day alone in the new apartment. Long day at work and class, but now i get to relax for a bit. Oh wait ive got 3 lectures to copy and more boxes to unpack. all in all not too bad. Marc left for the week this morning and i finally get to keep the puppy here with me full time.

The puppy is doing really well and we finally got a crate to train her with. I couldnt afford one, but my moms friend happen to have one she was getting rid of. Plenty big and the price tag on it says $140! I was pretty excited to be given it for free.

So right now i'm broke like normal, but i havent been to the grocery store in over 1 1/2 months. My fridge has some condiments, 2 eggs, creamer, about 1 cup of milk, 1 slice of cheese and a couple slices of lunchmeat. thats it. I have 1 more cut of beef. The same type of beef ive been eating for the past 2 weeks, and my choice of either rice or pasta, no sauce. I think i have some oatmeal too, or I could drink my last can of chicken broth. Yup thats all of my food. Getting pretty tired of the same thing, but i only have to make that last until saturday.

JANET had a great time in Lancaster. She was pooped though. I’m glad you had a good time. CE went to a vacation home on a lake up north, I think. Family is joining them in a few days.

T says it’s too dang hot in Cali. Yep, you better get your sweat production up to snuff for FL!

KAT is hurting. She is “on-call” for tomorrow. She is hoping they won’t need her. She will be at AC Friday and Saturday. I hope you get a break tomorrow too!

I'm glad you are all moved. Sorry about the food situation. I can remember that cheap pizza and mac & cheese were a must. It was a good thing that I worked at a Mexican restaurant that would feed us for free.
Score on the kennel! That is awesome! It just makes things so much easier.

Had an eventful morning, my Dad had to have an op on his ear yesterday and had to stay in overnight. I went to pick him up this morning at a new hospital and it had about 8 different entrances, I eventually found his ward but he'd gone so I searched and searched and couldn't find him, was beginning to wonder if he was related to T I was driving out to go around to the other side of the hospital again and there he is walking back in. He'd decided to walk to meet me but I'd come in a different way. 55 minutes I was searching the hospital for He only came back because it started raining and he realised he'd left his towel at the hospital, he had walked several miles and this is after he was put to sleep yesterday and shouldn't have been doing anything He won't rest now he's been digging up potatoes and stuff

Not sure when I'll check in next and haven't been keeping up on FB either, have noticed no Mel or Dawn though

Bonjour!

Hope everybody is doing well and enjoying their summers.

It has been work, work, work for me. When I am not at work you will most likely find me at home watching Dexter with Erich, he has introduced me to the show, we are currently on season 2. I really like it!

On Monday we are all making the 7 hour drive to Toledo to visit with family for my birthday so that should be fun. We also plan on making a stop at the Toronto Zoo on the way there or on the way back. We haven't been in several years and it is a fantastic zoo.

Then in a months time Alek, Erich and I are jetting off to British Columbia to visit with Dad and Grandma. Where has the summer gone? It is flying by so quickly! There is a huge forest fire occurring right now about an hour away from where my Dad lives, right near the town that we are flying into. Here's hoping that the airport doesn't get damaged! Also hoping that not too many homes are lost.
