Good Evening!!!

Hi everyone! Our yard people cut the phone line over the weekend so we had no phone or internet. Actually no phone wasn't that bad. Not much going on here today except finishing up the laundry and ironing so I hope to be around to catch up.

Well that would be bad over a weekend. We did miss you. I just figured you were enjoying the balmy Florida weather by the pool!

ya im not scheduled to get my internet and cable activated until saturday, but right now im leeching off an unsuspecting unprotected router.

Good morning all. THe weather is carppy here. It is raining. No, not just raining think Fay type downpours I was walking from the car to work and the wind was blowing toward my back. My whole backside is soaked, and no I am sitting in AC.

Busy day at work. We have an auditor coming in for one of our grants...fun, fun, fun and in the midst of all this I am trying to learn my new job which starts next Monday. Yeah, I love my job.................

I'm back. Where is everyone. Crazy busy at work. 2 meetings and the audit today. JImmy had a dentist appointment, he has two cavities.

I did get my hair appointment and Jimmy's haircut appointments scheduled today. One more thing checked off the things to do to get ready for the trip list.

So did the audit go OK? 2 cavities! Does Jimmy do well at the dentist?

Good morning! Leo's off to another day of Nature Camp and I'm... stuck at work. I'm beyond ready for a vacation.

Which, conveniently, is coming up in 6 Fuzzy Days!

I'm getting everything together for work while I'm gone now, and spitting out Ridemax plans. Last night, I worked out with the Sadistic Wii Trainer and wrote down a few workouts to take on the trip.

Nothing else new. Just waiting...

Very good!! I think the last week of waiting is the worst! It just drags for me.

Had an eventful morning, my Dad had to have an op on his ear yesterday and had to stay in overnight. I went to pick him up this morning at a new hospital and it had about 8 different entrances, I eventually found his ward but he'd gone so I searched and searched and couldn't find him, was beginning to wonder if he was related to T I was driving out to go around to the other side of the hospital again and there he is walking back in. He'd decided to walk to meet me but I'd come in a different way. 55 minutes I was searching the hospital for He only came back because it started raining and he realised he'd left his towel at the hospital, he had walked several miles and this is after he was put to sleep yesterday and shouldn't have been doing anything He won't rest now he's been digging up potatoes and stuff

Not sure when I'll check in next and haven't been keeping up on FB either, have noticed no Mel or Dawn though.

You lost your papa at the hospital - I'm glad you found him. He sounds like my MIL. You absolutely can not keep that woman down. I hope I have half her energy when I'm 75 years old. We have missed you! get back here soon!

Hope everybody is doing well and enjoying their summers.

It has been work, work, work for me. When I am not at work you will most likely find me at home watching Dexter with Erich, he has introduced me to the show, we are currently on season 2. I really like it!

On Monday we are all making the 7 hour drive to Toledo to visit with family for my birthday so that should be fun. We also plan on making a stop at the Toronto Zoo on the way there or on the way back. We haven't been in several years and it is a fantastic zoo.

Then in a months time Alek, Erich and I are jetting off to British Columbia to visit with Dad and Grandma. Where has the summer gone? It is flying by so quickly! There is a huge forest fire occurring right now about an hour away from where my Dad lives, right near the town that we are flying into. Here's hoping that the airport doesn't get damaged! Also hoping that not too many homes are lost.

Work is such a downer sometimes. But you gotta work so you can play. I hope you get to go to your dad's place.

Evening All!! Another Good Day ! My Boss visited all day and we mainly chatted , went to lunch chatted some more Oh an yes we did do some stuff that needed doing She said I need to check the money is it right I said Yes she said GoodI did all the things she asked and we just had a great day!! She says I crack her up!!!! I really am kinda CRAZY!!!!

I'm glad you had a great day with the boss! I just don't know why she would say such a thing!!!

The only thing I can tell you is that I got my "Enchanted" stuff today. I took pics but I haven't loaded them up yet. It's a shirt, some buttons and a mouse pad. Nice stuff from Zazzle.

Pugsy goes back home to the MIL tomorrow. I'll have to swing by there and see her pictures some time this weekend. She went out west.

Looking at prices, it looks like it might be better to book seperately. My mom gets a discount on the cruises, but it's not great. Well, let me rephrase that. It's great if you don't want to book until 20 days out and you take whatever is available. (a little less than $500/pp). If you want a guaranteed sail date and a guaranteed cabin (book like a regular person) it is only a 15% discount.

We booked separately, I think land/sea "packages" are only available if you are looking at a 3 or 4 night sailing and we did a 7 night. It is definitely cheaper to book separately though.

Tough call on whether you should book "now" or closer to the sail date.

We were at WDW for a week. Arrived on a Saturday and got on the cruise the following Sat then flew home from the cruise the Sat after that.

Home from work. Jim made sausage and pierogies for dinner. Jimmy is watching Lilo and Stitch 2 - Stitch has a Glitch, so I thought I'd check in here. Tried to call my mom for her birthday, but she's not home. If I know them, they are at EPCOT having dinner.

i always hear that people that go on their first cruise usually complain that it was too short. Oh course ive never been on a cruise either but i really want to!

Just had to get the dog off of the cat bowls again. They are in the kitchen (which shes not allowed in) and she goes and sucks up all the food in 3 sec.! Grrr Im gonna strangle that dog this week! cant wait for marc to get home.

Had Good Day at work No one ran away !! Got hurt etcetc and I am pretty ell caught up on everything !! Even did some stuff for a September Meeting !!Can't be rushed before Disney!!!
I am sneaking in a couple of Meets in September , I'll let Judy find out when they happen can just act SOOOO surprised that they are there 2 days in a row at the exact sametime and place as us Sound like a PLAN!!!!!

Not much going on here still huh? I miss hearing about everyone's days!

Mine was boring. I worked all morning (9-2) and was knee deep in glittery costumes. I will have glitter on me for days. But I am off till Monday!!!!

I came home and napped. KC is on the way home now. We will eat leftovers so we don't leave any food over the weekend when we are away. I am kinda packed. I need to find the bathing suits still. At least it's just overnight and not a weekend anymore, I'd be so not packed if that was the case.

Oh I bought myself 2 pairs of earring today from the WoD. I can't resist the mickey heads. They are the type that are mickey heads but don't look it.

So should I bring my TFW lanyard to AC Janet?

I think I have figured out where we will stay in October...oh and BTW I added an extra day....because the airfare was so much cheaper a day before we planned to go...KC doesn't know yet....I must make nice-nice and then tell him. So we will (If he agrees to this) stay at Movies for 3 nights and AKL for 2! It's my way of splitting the difference of the price! Any thoughts???

I think I would like to do a European cruise with Disney. Just another 'want' to add to the list. That's kinda weird that it would be cheaper if you book it separately. You'd think they would give a good discount for doing both together.

I dug out all my vacation bits and got them organized. I just need to check off what I have so I know what I need to get. It looks like I am in pretty good shape.

I asked Rockie about the Photopass deal. I sent her the link to the website that explains it. I was thinking it might be worth it since we could get a lot of pictures of the 2 of us without bothering other vacationers all the time. I'll see what she says.

The prices were skeery, plus the "land and sea packages" are only either 4 nights on land and 3 at sea, or the other way around. We want to to 7 nights on land and 4 at sea.

I asked Rockie about the Photopass deal. I sent her the link to the website that explains it. I was thinking it might be worth it since we could get a lot of pictures of the 2 of us without bothering other vacationers all the time. I'll see what she says.

You know that is one thing I can't seem to make a decision about. Last year we did it becasue we shared with my girlfriend who tagged along with us. Not sure if it is worth the money for us, as don't seem to ever be where the photographers are

Good Morning. I'm first AGAIN! We need to get back on normal schedules everyone. It is not right that I am first. That means I am up and at work WAY too early.

Another busy day at work planned, but it shouldn't be crazy, just busy. I have one final grant application to put into the mail and then the afternoon will spent learning some more of the new job.

Last night I did som trip stuff and just generally hung out with my boys and finished up the last of the luandry, for this week. There will be more come the weekend Jim is planning yard work and washing/waxing his car today. Of course becasue this is what heplanned it's going to rain. Jimmy is at a friends house for the day.
