Just a quick Hi from me as well. I have chili cooking and need to bake some cookies for tomorrows party. KC is at the grocery store picking up the rest of what I need for tomorrow. I also need to make the corn bread to go with the chili. I'm kinda tired.

But Aladdin is on ABC family in HD and it's purdy!

Hi guys! Popping in quick before getting Leo ready for bed. We had a great Sat.! My friend came and pumped up my AC with some more freon and fixed a couple wiring issues; I'm good to go until the ancient compressor craps out completely. But he's keeping an eye out for a good, cheap replacement for me, too.

I went to a local saddlery and bought riding breeches and cinnamon horse cookies. Yeah, I've got it bad!

Then Leo and I went to see Up. OMG, it was absolutely beautiful! Really, really heart-touching to me. Leo really enjoyed it, too, though an awful lot was over his head.

I really need to put in some time with the scanner tonight. We're knee-deep in hurricane season and I still have a TON of print photos to secure digitally. But I kind of want to just kick back and watch a movie, so we'll see.

Hoping for beach and/or pool time tomorrow. If I don't get back, have a good weekend Fockers!

Maddie's last day is Wednesday and Evan is Thursday. We go back on Sept. 2! Does not seem long enough!

Just waiting for Jim's in-laws to get here so we can have dinner. I made chicken and eggplant parm with ziti. Did I mention we told them to be here for 3:00

Wow, that menu sounds delish, Janet! Can you email me the eggplant parm recipe? I love it, but I don't know how to make it.

Well, the kids and I are on our own tonight. Andy's working late & TE and Waldo went to dinner with my brother for Waldo's b-day. I promised the kids Mickey D's for dinner. I know, but who can resist those fries?

I've been watching Bravo most of the day indulging on Real Housewives of New Jersey and Kathy Griffin repeats. Oh, and working on my trip plans.... dang I'm in love with Ridemax.

One week from today I can book our stay at the Grand Californian Villas in October! I'm so excited!

First Jo is just trying to be like me with TYPOS!!! We have to stick together us BRITS!!!!
Now my GOOD news Judy is MUCH better today !! She is still in pain but moving very well walikng more up and down the Street !! Took the kids to the show and afterwards stopped at Mickey Dees !! She ate a plain hamburger (no bun) Chewed it well and has had no problem !!So she is ahead of schedule for returning to more normal diet! Tomorrow she gets scrambled egg!!

Good morning all! ANother busy day here. Laundry and cleaning Jimmy has a borthday party at 12:30. Jim is going to take him to that, so I can get the stuff done I need to around here.

I also need to get Jimmy's stuff ready for camp. THe best thing is though I don't have to pack is lunch. THey provide breakfast, snacks and lunch. THe only thing he need to bring is refillable water bottle.

He has swimming in the morning so he wears his bathsuit, pool shoes, and a Tshirt in the morning and I have to send in a change of clothes, a towel, suncreeen, and a comb. That's it. I love the no packing lunch thing!

I;m sure I will be checking back later. Hope everyoone has a great day!

Today is Jim's birthday so his mom and dad are coming for dinner as a combo "move-up" celebration birthday dinner. I'm making eggplant parm and chicken parm with spaghetti!

Just watched KG, she cracks me up! I haven't caught up with TRH yet. Such a train wreck. There's a show on Soap channel called Southern Belles, single girls in Louisville, Kentucky that I've started watching since a friend is from there. Those women are much more like those I am accustomed to! Nice and sweet and if they are *****y, it's with a smile on their face.


We made it home last night and although I am glad to be home, I wish we could have stayed longer. Mitch was in meetings much longer than I anticipated, so maybe next year I won't go. The owner of the management company and I were talking about where to have future meetings, and I'm working on GF or The Poly. I'll let you know how that works out.

Okay... DAY 3 and I read all of went on since I last posted! It actually makes it easier for me to keep up, when it's quiet... but Where are all my girlfriends? If it's been quiet, how come?



T- That is amazing that you have such a short summer break. We are getting a longer one this year because we have a state law that we can't start back until after Labor Day (Labor Day is late this year). I wonder if you get more days off during the school year?

I'd be happy with full year school, if it was offered here. Summer break is a great time to loose 1/4 of what you just learned the year before.


Can you use your DVR points for DLP Resorts?



Janet- Are you sending him to sleep away camp or a day camp? How long is it?

We had our neighborhood block party last night and I am DONE IN today. After sitting outside at our park, my allergies kicked my butt. I was up all night trying get both the allergies and asthma under control. DH was about to take me to the ER. This AM was a tough start, but I am relaxing and hope they get under control soon.

Today is rest and relaxation for me and DH is cleaning, then taking the kids to the beach. He is in the dog house, so he is trying to make up for it, the best he can. It's going to take a lot more than cleaning my house though...

We just got home from church. I'm going to go back to serving on the worship team starting this week, so I'll be gone a lot on Sundays. I'm excited, though. I missed singing with my friends.
