I just mopped the downstairs. We have that wood laminate everywhere. I wish I could figure out how to clean it without leaving streaks. I googled it, but there were too many suggestions and they didn't seem to agree, so I guess I'm on my own.

My plan is to get the book shelves loaded up with books and organize school stuff. I don't have a school room here, so it's going to take some finagling. I'm so picky about things being tidy, that I don't know how I'm going to pull it off. That'll be my challenge today.

We have laminate in the kitchen. I like it, but when things hit the floor it is really loud.

What's an exhaust fan for a TV???? Hope your back feels better soon

Our new Tv unit is closed on the back where the TV goes and it gets too hot. So KC cut a hole in the back panel in the shape of a circle so he could put in his own fan, he even hooked it up to a fan controller so it's only on when we need it.

He was supposed to do 2 but the 1st one was enough for him! LOL.

Just a quick hello on my way back to my chair. Back still wonky. We are having a friend and his girlfriend over tonight to hang out, should be fun. We haven't seen him in forever and he was one of the groomsmen on our wedding!

Had a great time at the Phillies game last night, despite getting stuck in TS Faye type rain for about 20 minutes. Had Tball this morning and then took Jimmy to see UP. Saw that CE and T loved it...we HATED it. Thought it was depressing. About 1/2 way through Jim fell asleep and Jimmy asked if we could leave.

I spoke to a new guide this afternoon about DVC. I'm back to feeling excited again.

Now, I just need Kirt to do the dreaded budget with the new house bills so we can make sure it's going to work out monthly.

Of course while I was on the phone with my new guide the old guide called 4x! OMGosh!!! He's calling now!!! It's eerie! I felt like I was cheating on him, but it's his own fault for not being timely with returning his calls.

Well, we finally got Maddie's room in order. I threw out 4 trash bags of old toys and junk. All the drawers, shelves and bins are organized. Let's see how long this lasts. Evan's room is next. I'll probably do that one tomorrow.

Well, I caved and although I said I wouldn't do one, I did. I started my PTR for July/August. Links in my siggie.

Have to get ready for my brothers party tonight. It starts at 8pm. I'll poop out by 10, I bet. Better hit Starbucks first.

She has to drop her mom off at the airport then we're just going to drive up. What sucks is I may have to drive because she's on no sleep. I really hate driving, especially other people's cars. Oh well.

The trip was great! Had so much fun! I can't wait to sort through all my pictures and video and share it with you all. If you are on the fence about a Disney cruise I say you should definitely do it!

Unfortunately for me I brought home a lovely illness as a souvenir. Not quite sure what I have yet, hoping it is just a cold, as it is though I have almost completely lost my voice. I sound like an old lady!

We had a cousin's birthday party (on my dad's side) and another cousin's (on my mom's side) wedding to go to today. I am pooped and so were the kids!

The wedding was really pretty and had a ton of fun dancing with the kids. They had a slideshow going during appetizers and dinner of old baby pics and then of them growing up. It was really fun to see all them and how tiny and young we all looked. My mom was in a few of them and she was so beautiful in them all. You just sort of seem to forget these things over time. I'm sure she would have really enjoyed it if she was here. Plus, my grandma was in a few. As the wedding ceremony was going on I just couldn't help but laugh at what she would have been doing if she was still alive. The woman couldn't sit still to save her life so it definately would have been comical to watch. But here is a picture of their cake...

Yes, their entire cake was blue and they had a Cinderella and Prince Charming cake topper. They love Disney just as much as I do. I think I was put into the wrong family.

Eh, just jump in. We'll get you in the swing of things.
I'm the happy-go lucky vampire, Redneck from central Indiana. No kids, 3 dogs, 1 turtle and 2 cats. Oh and a DH. I work a strange schedule, so you never know when I'll show up. I try to get an update in at least once a day to keep everybody in sinc. Sometimes they are a little creative.
My BFF, Rockie and I are going for a girl's only trip to WDW in Sept./Oct for her birthday. It will be our first big trip together since we were kids.

Good morning everyone!
Well the kids did a pretty good job of cleaning yesterday. It's not perfect and I do need to go back and clean some stuff again but their attitudes were great and so I let them off the hook around 10:30 and took them to cici's pizza and to the children's museum in Birmingham. I hate Bham but they love the museum so I sucked it up and took them anyway.

Thursday night we went to my niece's graduation and she was leaving yesterday to go to NY for her senior trip. However, my SIL's dad died in the middle of the night so they had to postpone their trip. She was pretty upset about the whole thing. They lost some money because they didn't have trip insurance but will get most of it back. They are going in a few weeks but still...

Then we went shopping for goodie bags. I made 20 for the tball end of season party we are having today. And I got some stuff for disney too! I will post pics later.

Today I am cleaning my car. need to get my tires rotated. Re clean the house. Two tball games. And the before mentioned party. My SIL's dad's viewing is today at 4 and the funeral is tomorrow so I will go to one or both. And we got free tix to the opera for tonight but I dont know if we can go or not.

Beautiful day here and it's a good job it is as I've done 5 loads of stinky, dirty camp laundry already and it's all dried quick. The girls have also set up the pool, it's an 8 ft paddling pool about 3 ft deep and Ellie hasn't gotten out yet. They filled it with freezing tap water too

Tonight is the final of Britain's Got Talent and I'm actually hoping Susan Boyle doesn't win, I just am not sure about her!

We went to see UP! yesterday and I said, I loved it! We saw the 3D version and IMO didn't really need to as there were no scenes that I would say were "awesome" because of the 3D. Save yourself $2 and see the 2D version.

My brother is having a get-together at his house for his birthday (which is Tuesday). Yes, my 41 year old brother is giving himself a birthday party. What a geek.

I wanted to open the pool this weekend, but when I went to get it out, it was GONE! All I could find was the salt water system! Then I remembered, I threw it out last year. I ordered a new one from Wallyworld. Got a bigger one, too. Shhhh! Don't tell Andy.

Supposed to go to the beach on Sunday with my SIL and her 2 kiddos. I desperately need some color. Just ask Mo.

I worked on the back yard with Doug from noon to 5PM Saturday. It was gorgeous with a dark cloud every so often. We have finally gotten all of the old deck removed. They had a support area for the hot tub buried in the ground. What a pain. I started filling in holes. I'll have to finish tomorrow. Then we just need to get his nephew out here so he can see what he will need to get the new patio done. We already have the pavers. I'm really hoping it can be finished by the end of June. I don't know what his schedule looks like though.

Welcome Kickapoo - I'm CE, SAHM to 7 year old twin boys, live in NH, DH is a corporate pilot, so I sometimes have days free to DIS at will, and sometimes feel obligated to spend time with him when he's home.

The weather for our baseball game was just drop-dead gorgeous yesterday, so we decided to take a chance (there was a 30% chance of rain forecast) and went on up to the boat afterward. I'm SO glad we did - it was a lovely day - not too hot, not too cold, not too windy... We ended up being out until 7:40, then hightailing it out to dinner at the diner before the kids fell asleep. We didn't get home until nearly 10:00.

Then, as I said, I started trying to catch up here and the window went poof.

The kids, of course, going on the theory of "the later we go to bed, the earlier we get up" were still up before 7:00, playing the Wii. D has taken them off to baseball practice and I took the dog out, had breakfast, caught up here, and am now planning on taking a little snooze (if I can fall back asleep - I might have woken myself up too much by getting on the computer.) D & I have nearly cleared our DVR, but were up until 1:00 doing that.

He has a meeting tomorrow, and there's a 50% chance of rain and t-storms at the lake today, so I think we're sticking around home today. The weather looks better around here than the lake, so the kids can be outside, and hopefully D can get whatever he thinks he needs doing done. I probably need to start thinking about cleaning the house for my cousin and her family at the end of the week, but I can't do too much too soon, or it will all just be undone by Friday.

I may be popping in and out today, depending on what we really do. If the weather holds, I may go spend my gift cert at the local nursery (got it for Mother's Day) and get some flowers in, finally.

We need about 10 Saturdays to do some yardwork. Looking at our schedule we may have 1/2 of one this whole summer. Yikes!

We finished our last two tball games yesterday (lost both) and had our end of year party. The coach and his family didn't come because his wife got into it with the mom who was hosting the party and said they were NOT coming to her house. Real grown up huh? I didn't realize this until we were at the party but I feel like a dofus because during the game i was telling all the boys how excited I was about the party and how much fun we were going to have bla bla bla. Well, the coach's son was there and he didn't get to come. I hate ball drama. Even if he didn't want to come he should have at least let his son come. I wonder what they told him?

The good news is Omicron got the last game ball and the coach called him the most improved player of the year. I cried

Chi and Omicron are at their dad's and Alpha and Delta are at their mom's. The house seems so quiet with just one child.

After church today I am getting with my friend and we are making our Tink Bags for Disney. then a funeral at 4:00. The kids are coming home at 6 then we are going to the drive-in to see UP tonight.

We've been to the European Open again, we stayed about 4 hours as that was enough for the girls. They were both lucky enough to be given a ball by the players so they liked that and then went on to stalk every player as they came off the green They're now in various pools, Jess and her friend in ours and Ellie was in ours with her friends but has now gone next door to theirs.

Not much else going on just doing yet more laundry!!!
