Yeah, isn't that weird? And we're a pretty big school district. I don't get it.

Jim and Jimmy's school break is the same way. They are off the whole week before Easter. I like the way the privates schools around here do it. They are off Thursday and Friday before Easter and then Monday, Tuesday, & Wed after Easter. This year, getting Jimmy to leave my brothers so we could get home and ready for school the next day was a pain:sad2:

:lmao::lmao::lmao: Janet, you owe me a new keyboard!

:thumbsup2 or at least a Lapu!

We did it loads when I was little, then we had to catch a ferry across the Channel but now there is the Euro Star which you simply drive on to and off again in France :thumbsup2 Not that we've done it and it's only 30 minutes away :rotfl2

:lmao:

That stinks about the internet Rosie. HAve a great trip!:goodvibes

It looks like it's about 20 hours. We can take up to 4 days to get there, but only have two to get back. DH's conference ends Friday night (why do they need to have a cocktail reception after a conference? Just let them go home!) and he'll have to be back to work Monday morning.

Right now I'm looking at leaving Friday after DH gets out of work, driving to Atlanta, then going to New Orleans, then NO to Houston, then Houston to San Antonio. None of those stretches are awful. The ride home would be San Antonio to Mobile...Mobile to home. Two ten hours days.

Totally doable. Of course, this is coming from the people who drive 18 hours from IL in one day, but... Seriously, the ride out looks like fun, and the drive back wouldn't kill you.

OMG! So I got my big @ss up from the computer and headed to the gym. As soon as I walked in all my mojo and then some came flooding back, so I decided to jump on the treadmill and RUN.

Yes, RUN.

5 minutes later, my ankles gave out and I had to finish my workout in pain and walking a measly 3.5 MPH. Oh the humiliation! :guilty::sad2:

:rotfl2: I guess I'm not ready for running. :confused3

Dr. Belle says that the only way she's running is if someone's chasing her. ;) I started my running career by doing the elliptical first, fast, then after months of that, I could run on the treadmill. Sometimes I do V's thing, too.

Internet is down till May 21st !! Will try to log on again before I leave on Saturday but if not I will have a great vacation and am excited about all the Dissers I will be meeting !! I am at the Library doing this but may try to go to laundramat or friends house later today !!

Oh, no! Well, have a wonderful time, Rosie! :)

Bonehead's still a screwed-up jerk. :teeth:

:rotfl2:

Here's my trick, developed thanks to exercise-induced asthma and bad knees: I run for 30 seconds, then walk for 2 minutes, and keep alternating. Gets the heart up without overdoing it.

::yes:: I also do this, or the treadmill's pre-programmed intervals, which are even 1 or 2 minutes of running, then walking, depending on how long you program in overall. :thumbsup2

This cracks me up... my legs are so much shorter that 3.5 is a jog for me; no way I could walk that! :rotfl: 4.0 is a full run and clsoe to 5 is an all-out sprint.

:rotfl:I walk at 5.0... But I'm taller than T, even.

I plan on the elliptical today whilst the boys do tennis. It's easier for me than the treadmill, and in a half hour, I burn over 300 calories. Since I quit doing ANY running/elliptical/weights etc. this fall with the tennis, I need to build myself back up to being able to run again. Sigh.

Ugh. :headache: I guess my ex thinking I'm the devil has its advantages; at least he leaves me alone!

:rotfl: Sorry I just found this funny. Maybe because I'm the devil in my ex's eyes as well.

Yes, we decided to invite my mom. She's never been and she wanted to go ont he last two trips, but I told her no. Now that we've been and had magic, I'm willing to share it. ;)

That is so sweet. :goodvibes

But, how's this for crazy...DH has to go to San Antonio at the end of the month for a conference and we're thinking of all going. That means a drive from SC to San Antonio. Yup. You read it right. A DRIVE. :scared: I truly think I'm daft, but I don't know when this opportunity will present itself again and I'd love the boys to see the deep south. I'm weighing the drive against the things we'd get to see and do...but I keep coming back to the drive

I don't think your crazy at all but I like road trips and my kids don't mind them all that much either.

I'm actually jealous of my dad and brother. My uncle lives in CA and will be moving back here to OH at the beginning of June. My dad and brother are flying out to CA, help my unlce pack up and then driving back. I kind of wish that they don't go until the middle of the month so that way my kids will be gone with their father and I could possibly go as well.

 All that running for nothing. I only dream of my ex meeting some hot chic that talks him into moving far, far away :cloud9:

:rotfl: Mine did that and it still doesn't help. You won't believe the crap I still have to put up with him. Yes, even living 1100 miles away.

I think our kids go to the same school :lmao: Everything you say that Linds has my Chi has. It is suppose to rain here and She has field day today too!

:rotfl: No rain, all sun so I'm sure she had a fun day. :)

Well I didn't talk to my ex. I sent him an email instead. I have learned to keep everything in writing with him because he remembers conversations differently that what I remember them. This way I have a record of what all I said. I addressed some other things in the email as well.

Since he goes to every stinkin practice, he usually offers to give the kids a ride home. At first I saw no harm in this - just riding from point A to point B which is about 2 miles, what could go wrong? Well when he gets them home he then gets out of his car. If the kids go into the back yard to play, he follows them. If they want to throw ball he gets his glove out and starts throwing ball with them. In fact the only way to get him to leave is to get all the kids inside. Then he goes to the door and asks for them to come back to the door so he can tell them bye. This takes upto 30 minutes. And this is every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday and some Fridays and Saturdays!

I've had enough so I told him if he can't just drop them off then they can't ride with him any more. I addressed some more stuff too but those were the big things. So far he hasn't replied back.

I just want a night without my X!!!

Anywho. Today is my anual review at work :sad2: They already told us not to expect any raises so I'm not expecting anything. Hopefully I wont be disappointed.

This man seriously has problems and honestly probably doesn't think he has done anything wrong (or even weird).

Well, if your ex is anything like mine you probably won't get a reply and it will go in one ear and out the other. Or it will be fixed for a week and go right back to the old way. :sad2:

 Hope it gets better soon and your review at work goes well.

Morning all!!! :surfweb:

 Hi Z!

Wow---we are in the 11th hour! Kinda scary. Is this really our 11th thread or did we skip some?:confused3

 Hi TE! Glad your liking the new gym.

I'm still here in my old house. We were hoping to close Friday, but I'm guessing it's not going to happen since I haven't heard that my buyers are ready. :headache: At this point, I 'm going to tell them they can't close until Tuesday morning. That way we can move out Monday. So, by the end of next week, we should be back in Austin. :cutie: I'm ready. I was just looking at the pictures from the appraisal and thinking of where I would put things.

Hope you get it worked out soon. I know your more than ready for it all to be over with.

Is that so you don't have to volunteer? :rotfl2:

:ssst:...::yes::...:rotfl:

I picked Ellie up from school and we went and bought all the food for her party, I've only spent about $50 for the whole party and thanks to the Disney party stuff don't have to pay for anything else :thumbsup2 We're also going to attempt to make the mickey head crispy cakes :rotfl2:

Tonight I've got to go to a meeting about the Guide camp the girls are going on and we'll get the kit lists etc. They go in under 2 weeks so not much time to buy everything!

WTG on the party stuff! :thumbsup2 Is the camp they go to overnight?

Afternoon everybody. Crazy busy at work, but just wanted to pop in and say hi :wave2:

 Hi Janet!

Sounds like a good plan. :thumbsup2 Before my ex and I split we wanted to drive from LA to CA to visit his dad. The kids were 2 and 4. We decided to go to FL instead. :rotfl:

OMG! So I got my big @ss up from the computer and headed to the gym. As soon as I walked in all my mojo and then some came flooding back, so I decided to jump on the treadmill and RUN.

Yes, RUN.

:yay: for heading to the gym. :rotfl: to the whole running thing. (Sorry)

 Hi Rosie! If you don't make it on, hope you have a GREAT trip!

How sad is this...I forget how to write a busniness letter??? I think I'm laughing at my own stupidity and that I had to Google this. :sad2:

Speaking of ex's...mine is not paying child support and I finally heard back from our case worker regarding this. I still feel like I'm having to jump through hoops just to get this taken directly from his pay. And the sad thing is is the dumba$$ is lying about being employed and could have been paying child support this entire time, but nope. Oh well, it just means he has to pay more in the long run. :sad2:

I guess Karma is now biting him in his own butt. I should be careful and not be too smug though because I don't want her coming back and biting me.

Ummmm anyone in your town with the same names? :rotfl2:
I was thinking about putting NOT in front of it, but I'm guessing that wouldn't work. :rotfl:

I was thinking of doing the Space Center, but I have read mixed reviews.:confused3
I have heard it's great from my fellow homeschoolers. I haven't been though. :confused3

Yeah, isn't that weird? And we're a pretty big school district. I don't get it.

Totally manageable! Honestly, we've managed 8s and 9s well, too. Rope drops and a plan - you'll be fine! :thumbsup2
Thanks for your help.

Dr. Belle says that the only way she's running is if someone's chasing her. ;)
With a knife! :rolleyes1

Hope you get it worked out soon. I know your more than ready for it all to be over with.
I'm totally ready, but not I have a ton to do!

Craptastic!:headache: While I was out enjoying my margarita and enchiladas, I got a call that the buyers want to close on Friday after all.:headache: Now I have to be ready to move in the morning! I don't know when I'll get to post or check in. :scared: I will be at my MIL's Thursday night and possibly until Monday. If the buyer's can close early enough on Friday, I can buy my new house. Otherwise, I can't until Monday am. :headache::headache::headache:

I feel like I'm going to puke!

With all your rat/mice talk I do not even want to put my feet on the floor as I'm sitting here at my computer desk for fear that something is going to sneak up on me. :scared1::laughing:
:rotfl2:

Morning all!!! :surfweb:

i like the new avatar!:thumbsup2

It's actually more like the 12th thread; the very first one was deleted for innapropriate use of the word Focker. ;) Then I started the Chat threads.
:lmao: wish i could have seen that! How many of you guys are originals from that far back?

It's Christian dance team, so I won't have to worry about dirty moves and costumes. They do dance to popular music, but it won't be "I Kissed a Girl" or anything!
good luck with the houses!

I know what you mean about the dances. I was in cheer from elementary school to highschool. I quit in high school because of the drama, advisor was favoring her daughter and the coach was her other daughter:rolleyes:...but they were trying to change it from a cheer team to a dance team or songleaders, and IMO was getting skanky. I left for track, and by the next football season they had a dance involving cowboy hats to save a horse ride a cowboy. also very appropriate since we were the country school.:rotfl:

Nope. Her name is on them.
Were you guys able to save the same uniform for mutiple years at least, or did they do as ours was and change it every year.:headache:

5 minutes later, my ankles gave out and I had to finish my workout in pain and walking a measly 3.5 MPH. Oh the humiliation! :guilty::sad2:
Youll get there eventually. :thumbsup2

.

This cracks me up... my legs are so much shorter that 3.5 is a jog for me; no way I could walk that! :rotfl: 4.0 is a full run and clsoe to 5 is an all-out sprint.

i quoted more but i guess i lost them :confused3

Ahhh! getting ready to explode/cry here!

I started reading here this morning, but was almost late so i chained the dog, and ran to the bus. After getting to class at about 10 i got a call from my roommate. I didnt answer but instead began texting him. He was passing me info from the other roommate about the dog yesterday. Supposedly there were 3 noise complaints and the police threatened to take the dog!:scared1: Now i think the police in davis are a little stiff, but this seemed ridiculous! It wasnt excessively hot, there was food, water, toys, etc. She was just whining because she was lonely and it wasnt even that bad i was told. This was also in the middle of the day, not evening or nighttime. people should be at work or at least not asleep. I think people are way over cautious here.

Aside: This weekend it was hot and we were on campus with the dog. She lays down in the shade and starts to nap. A woman comes over saying shes from the red cross and reprimands marc for mistreating the dog. she was hot and thirst (even though marc had a cup of water with him) and she was laying down so somehting must be wrong with her. Give me a break a 3 month old puppy still gets tired really easily and naps a lot. ***

So during the texting conversation, the sleeps all day roommate who was asleep gets up slams doors and walks outside and unhooks the cable. then goes back to sleep. This is at 10:30! ANd BTW his window was open. If something loud, close the da** window! So i came home after class, skipping 2 of my next classes and here i am trying to take care of the dog.

I put her in the bathroom and im trying to get her used to beign alone. so far so good, she stopped whining after a few reprimands, and shes been quiet as a mouse. Now i have to get her to do that outside. She doesnt like being on the chain, but when shes not on the chain outside shes fine.:confused3

:faint: so in a couple of hours Ill go to work and then go take my midterm. This will at least give me time to study and eat lunch. Its only 12:30 here now.

Hi everyone,

I've been pretty MIA the last few weeks, can't even say I was lurking. In any case, I found the bread crumbs to the new thread, only 10 or so pages into it - not too bad.

I'm hoping I can work some DIS'ing back into the the schedule. Hope everyone is doing well. I'll have to track down a summary next session to find out what's been going on...

For now, here are some :grouphug::hug: for those who need them.

TTFN!

Thanks again Jo You are as always the BESTEST!!

I need to build myself back up to being able to run again. Sigh.
Why???? :rotfl2:

Is the camp they go to overnight?
Even better they have to be there at 9.30am on a Tuesday and picked up at 2.30pm on the Friday :thumbsup2

Speaking of ex's...mine is not paying child support and I finally heard back from our case worker regarding this. I still feel like I'm having to jump through hoops just to get this taken directly from his pay. Hi David, long time no see, glad you found us!

Just been to the Guide camp meeting and OMG they're so old fashioned. Our Guides have teamed up with another Guide unit and our leaders are cool young Mums whereas there's :sad2: You should have seen some of the stuff. They want to get the girls to make a sitter by weaving folded newspaper and putting it into a plastic bag, ours said buy a seat pad or garden kneeler :rotfl2: They then showed us how to do a bedding roll :sad2: then said that for 4 days there will be no showers, which when you have pre-teen and teenage girls at certain times of the month going without a shower is :scared: Our leaders said they would somehow find some :rotfl2: Anyway it means I get rid of the girls for 4 days so :yay: :rotfl2:

So who all watched Real Housewives of NJ? I gotta say I loved the part of the lady getting stood up (I mean really?!?) and then the other one bringing binoculars. I LMBO on that part. :rotfl:

Yea it was FUNNY! KC was watching too, I tell ya it's a car wreck I can't stop looking at!

 What is it with employers near you :sad2:

Yep your telling me! Small business owners here suck.

I have a serious case of WDW withdrawal. January just seems too far away.:sad2:

I get that! I am planning a trip I haven't actually booked yet! (see TR link in siggie) so I really am having withdrawal!

Morning all!!! :surfweb:

Hola Z!

How cool would it be to be at Raglan Road for St. Pat's Day?! :woohoo:

that sounds like a lot of fun!

Ahhh! getting ready to explode/cry here!

What is wrong with your silly roommates!?! And what is wrong with stupid people telling you how to take care of your puppy. Yeesh. Good luck with your test, I hope you get some studying done!

Hi everyone,

hello stranger! Nice to see you!

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
It's a beautiful day out but I really am not in the mood to go out. I'm hoping KC will want to take an evening walk later, at least to get out of the house some. I have a bunch of stupid little things to do around the house (Sew some pants with holes, organize the desk, wash my bras) so I'm trying to get those things done and catch up on some podcasts too.

I think tomorrow we are going to pick up a small side table for the house that we saw on craigslist ($20). it's the last piece of furniture we need!

Both of my new Vera Bags came! I am happy! I love them both!!

Happy Wed!

Morning all!!! :surfweb:
Hi Z

As opposed to what? Sorry - I forgot. But about March... the UG predictions are surprisingly low for a good part of it, in case that helps!
They do change though once the park hours are posted. My week in June wa 5-7s and now it is 8-9s.

OMG, were we married to the same guy?!

How crazy! It's nice that he wants to be around the kids, but isn't the point of a divorce that you don't have to be around him constantly? Geez! :sad2:
Exactly. I do want him in their lives. I think that much is important. But there has to be some boundaries and privacy.

I've only spent about $50 for the whole party and thanks to the Disney party stuff don't have to pay for anything else
Awesome! Let us know how the MM rice crispy treats come out.

Afternoon everybody. Crazy busy at work, but just wanted to pop in and say hi :wave2:

:rotfl: Mine did that and it still doesn't help. You won't believe the crap I still have to put up with him. Yes, even living 1100 miles away.
:lmao:
And don't feel silly about the business letter. Everyone who doesn't write them regularly looks them up.
 for the C.S.

I'm so sorry for all this. Could you afford a place of your own?

Hi everyone,
Hi

My review went almost as expected. We were told no raises this year so I wasn't shocked in that regard. But I was shocked at what my boss put down for "Employee's long term goals with the company"

I hope you like the new bags. Do they work better for you?

I'm so sorry for all this. Could you afford a place of your own?
Were moving into an apartment in September. Our lease ends then, and we dont have time to find someone to sublet the room so we can move earlier. Plus we want some time to save a litle more because the new place will be more expensive that what were paying now. Unfortunately its an apartment, and right now were in a house. We cant get another house because its way too much for jsut the 2 of us. Right now we have a pretty cheap one and rent alone is $1600. Were actually going to be moving to the next town over because apartments are ridiculously expensive here in davis. Over $850 for a studio.:scared:

I took the dog to the park and studying for a bit. Im feeling pretty confident about the test right now, but thats what i said about the last one and half the class bombed it. Im eating lunch now then ill be heading off to work. Yay perverts!......my life sucks.:sad2:

The boys had fun at tennis and I had a nice workout, plus my esthetician was able to squeeze in my eyebrow wax that I had to cancel yesterday because of going to the boat. :thumbsup2

Now they're playing the Wii for a bit before shower and bedtime. I've had a lazy day, but it was nice! ;)

Evening all:

SAm - :mad:at the roommate unchaining the dog!

Debra, Lori  for the ex problems

Jo :yay: on getting rid of the kids,,,,,,for 4 days;):yay:

I'm home. Jim took Jimmy to his psychiatrist appointment. It's just a medication check so they shouldn't be home too late...I hope since it's a school night. TOmorrow he see the actual therapist and I am working the book fair.

I was going through my schedule and with school and other activities, I don't work a full week until the 3rd week in June, and then only for a week becasue mom & dad are coming home the end of June. :lmao: Guess that will teach them to transfer me;)

Well I made it back to the library but tomorrow I have a long day !! :scared1:My plan is to go in at 4 am on Friday so I can get out by noon!! :cool1:The early morning is quiet and hopefully I can get caught up with all work so I can leave with a clean desk!! :)It has been a tough week at work and I am soooo ready for this TRIP !!! :banana:I got money out today from the bank and had various bills so I will have tip money easily ready !! Had my teeth cleaned today so now I have a new hairdo and sparkly teeth !!! Maybe I will meet Mr Disney!!!:rotfl2:

hope you get a lot done! Do you listen to the disunplugged? Ive listened from the very beginning.:goodvibes theyre like family in my head.:grouphug:

I hope you like the new bags. Do they work better for you?

I used to listen to the disunplugged, but it ended up being too long for me to really keep up. For disney ones I listen to: Netcot, wdw today. Non Disney I listen to MuggleCast, PotterCast, Imprint, Twilight Series Theories and Smart Mouths. Yea a lot, but I can't miss them!

I LOVE the bags!!!!! they are all different so they will be used all summer i think!

I have to laugh at you and the whole $850 thing...We pay $925 for our studio. We started here at $775. We are hoping to find a one bedroom for $1000 and thats a stretch!

Just found out KC is working late, so I get stuck home alone longer. BLAH. I'm bored as it is.

[

I knew that would happen, specifically thinking of you.:rotfl:

It is a big difference though when you realize that 12 miles East of davis, in Sacramento (obviously a bigger town) you can get a nice big apartment for $500 and in davis they are about 40 years old and trashed due to college kids.

I came home a little early from work to move sunny inside and drop off my car. test in 30 minutes and look what im doing.!

I was outside smoking a cigarette and busted 2 of Jim's students out front (when they should be in school). I think I scared the carp out of them Jimmy is an appointment tonight to have his meds checked, but other than that there's not much planned.
How old are these girls? :confused3
It looks like it's about 20 hours. We can take up to 4 days to get there, but only have two to get back. DH's conference ends Friday night (why do they need to have a cocktail reception after a conference? Just let them go home!) and he'll have to be back to work Monday morning.
20 Hours? Wholly crow! I can barely survive the drive to Vegas and that's about 5 hours. I have to stop at every shopping outlet. ;)
Sorry T but I'm not a runner either!!!!
I don't know what I was thinking??
I was thinking of doing the Space Center, but I have read mixed reviews.
SPACE CAMP!! I love that movie! 'Member Jinx? You 'member!
Tahnks guys. It was HARD, but I'm absolutely a better mom, friend, daughter and all around person because of it. And. Bonehead's still a screwed-up jerk.
::yes::

Okay twin - I think we're sharing mojo... I had the sudden urge to run last ngiht, too! Here's my trick, developed thanks to exercise-induced asthma and bad knees: I run for 30 seconds, then walk for 2 minutes, and keep alternating. Gets the heart up without overdoing it.
I'm going to try this tomorrow! :thumbsup2

This cracks me up... my legs are so much shorter that 3.5 is a jog for me; no way I could walk that! 4.0 is a full run and clsoe to 5 is an all-out sprint.
4.5 was a full run for me.... 5? I don't even want to attempt that! :rotfl2:

We did it loads when I was little, then we had to catch a ferry across the Channel but now there is the Euro Star which you simply drive on to and off again in France Not that we've done it and it's only 30 minutes away
Seriously? I'd be all over that... they have cheese... glorious cheese in France, Jo!

Dr. Belle says that the only way she's running is if someone's chasing her.

I'm with Dr. Belle. :thumbsup2

I started my running career by doing the elliptical first, fast, then after months of that, I could run on the treadmill. Sometimes I do V's thing, too.
The elliptical is the devils toy. I stay far, far away from that thing. :scared:

I walk at 5.0... But I'm taller than T, even.
OMG... seriously? Is that a speed walk or something? :worship:

I plan on the elliptical today whilst the boys do tennis. It's easier for me than the treadmill, and in a half hour, I burn over 300 calories. Since I quit doing ANY running/elliptical/weights etc. this fall with the tennis, I need to build myself back up to being able to run again. Sigh.
I just can't do the elliptical... my knees want to lock up. I'll just work up my way up to running. Hopefully, by the end of summer. :teeth:
I'm actually jealous of my dad and brother. My uncle lives in CA and will be moving back here to OH at the beginning of June. My dad and brother are flying out to CA, help my unlce pack up and then driving back. I kind of wish that they don't go until the middle of the month so that way my kids will be gone with their father and I could possibly go as well.
Hi Lori! Where in CA is your uncle?

Craptastic While I was out enjoying my margarita and enchiladas, I got a call that the buyers want to close on Friday after all. Now I have to be ready to move in the morning! I don't know when I'll get to post or check in. :scared: I will be at my MIL's Thursday night and possibly until Monday. If the buyer's can close early enough on Friday, I can buy my new house. Otherwise, I can't until Monday am.
What???!!! OMG - that sucks! Check in when you can!
Hi everyone,
Hi Mr. T!
:lmao: wish i could have seen that! How many of you guys are originals from that far back?
Me. :) And V and LL and Jo? I think Janet, too. We've lost some along the way, but we've gained lots and lots of new Fockers.

Ahhh! getting ready to explode/cry here!
Hang in there! She'll get better soon!

Just been to the Guide camp meeting and OMG they're so old fashioned. Our Guides have teamed up with another Guide unit and our leaders are cool young Mums whereas there's You should have seen some of the stuff. They want to get the girls to make a sitter by weaving folded newspaper and putting it into a plastic bag, ours said buy a seat pad or garden kneeler They then showed us how to do a bedding roll then said that for 4 days there will be no showers, which when you have pre-teen and teenage girls at certain times of the month going without a shower is Our leaders said they would somehow find some Anyway it means I get rid of the girls for 4 days so
That's what we did. :thumbsup2 Oh and no showers for 4 days! Eek!!

hope you get a lot done! Do you listen to the disunplugged? Ive listened from the very beginning.:goodvibes theyre like family in my head.:grouphug:
I love the DISunplugged. I can't listen to them at the gym anymore, as I find myself LOL and then I get weird looks. :lmao:

Had my teeth cleaned today so now I have a new hairdo and sparkly teeth !!! Maybe I will meet Mr Disney!!!:rotfl2:
:lmao: Good luck, Rosie! Have fun and I hope you find your Prince Charming.

I ended up taking Evan shopping for some "cool, rock star" clothes this afternoon. He claims I buy him baby dork clothes and he refuses to wear just about everything in his drawers. I let him pick out his own stuff and he is so proud of himself and his new cool dude duds. Who knew this crap starts with boys, too? :confused3 Yes, he's only 4 freakin' years old. :sad2:

I picked up some steaks to grill tonight... the weather is so nice. The clouds disappeared and we ended up at a perfect temp. today. Weather should be fantastic for Mo's trip! 3 more days!! :yay:

Yes, Janet......sparkly is VERY important! The more the better!

Funny thing---last nite at her lesson, the Tae Kwon Doe (??) instructor asked me and another mom if we would like to "stretch".......we said sure, why not? We're just sitting on bleachers.....with our rears ever expanding!
So, we S-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-d.........I'm in jean capris BTW and was very fearful of hearing R-i-p! Granted I've lost 5 # with WW recently but still a few more to go before I can bend over in pants, KWIM??? ;)

So after 20 minutes of stretching.......and kids laughing.......he said "join in"....so we began kicking.......and punching!
Remember I'm an expert at Tai chi (ha!)------but this is way different.........instead of finding the inner light in your surroundings......you're supposed to kick the crap outta it! :lmao:

...........and my thighs are sore...........real sore!

++++++++++++
Dawn---sounds like things are progressing. Glad you've got the girls signed up for new classes---I always tried to do that too so they would have something they enjoyed to look forward too.:goodvibes
