S'late - have Chris go the dr, my sister in law is a physical therapist and has tons of stories that started like Chris's. Also have the car checked, things like alignment etc could be impacted and you just don't "see" the damage.

Good luck:hug:

So another drama filled day at work, but had a nice dinner with Murph, thought she pulled a classic Murph. She loves Sangria, it's her fav and the restaurant we went to is one of her favs for Sangria. So the waitress takes our drink orders and Murph asks for Zinfadel and I looked at her and said Really? After the waitress walks away I said why no Sangria, her response, isn't that what I ordered, my reaction was:lmao: No you ordered Zinfadel, so she pops up and chases the waitress down to correct her order. She comes back to the table and says well they both begin with Z again I start:lmao: and correct her and say no one starts with a Z and one starts with an S

OMG and this is the woman that gave birth to me and raised me:eek::lmao:

Hello!

JANET posted the weird abduction turned escape to WDW on page 36, post 531. BTW, Janet is a cynic.

SLATE’s school system has lost it’s mind. She may lose hers over it. Chris was rear-ended on last Friday. Now he is hurting a little. Definitely get it checked out.

DEB found out omicron has the amazing ability to gargle and run at the same time!!! – Sorry for the confusion. I think I talked about Rockie just before you signed on with the group. She is my BFF. We’ve been buds since junior high. We are products of the late 70’s/early 80’s. Like totally!
She is married to Sarge who retired from the AF just a couple of years ago. They have 3 girls. ‘B’ is 17. ‘A’ is my God Daughter and 14 going on 35. ‘C’ is 13. They’ve been all over the US and even lived in Italy.
We haven’t had much time together until they moved back to Columbus, OH. It’s a 4 hour drive for me but I try to get over there as often as I can.
Rockie and I are doing a BFF trip in Sept./Oct. for her B-day at WDW. We’re both very excited about it.

PS - My DDad raised my brother and I. He passed away last year. This is a link to my tribute to him on the DIS.
Tribute to my DDad
It's closed but it is a quick read.

CE’s dad got a full body PET scan today. I 'm hoping and praying for good news. D can’t work when she is home.

V wants to know about Keens. This is Leo’s last week of school. They did squeeze in a horse lesson.

TIG says the rumor is the runaway mom has been skimming money from work. He is off work tomorrow. Have a good Friday!

ANGELA is back! She will post pics soon. Yay!

LORI posted pics of DR, page 37, post #548. AWE, he is so adorable.

KAT has neighbor woes. It’s making her crabby. She got her hair cut. She liked Star Trek. I'm glad you had a good movie night. Nothing new on the work front?

Evenin All!! Had an interesting training today.... SEXUALITY ASSESSMENTS!!!:rotfl2:Now please remember the field of work I am in!!!!!:lmao: There were 3 sets of assesments the last being NON VERBAL !methinks if they can't communicate why are we assesssing them:confused3 My favorite was the pictures I guess we are supposed to ask them which naked person is a man and which is a woman !!:laughing:As you can imagine I was cutting up and both my co workers swore they were never sitting next to me again !!My boss was across from me and says she is NEVER letting me do one !!!:rotfl2:

S'late, I'm sorry about Chris's accident - I'd definitely have him go in.

Rosie, sounds interesting! :lmao:

Still looks like fun, Kristel! :thumbsup2

I'm sorry, I read earlier, but had to jump up about dinner without responding, and now I'm not sure I'm remembering everything!

I have no idea where D is. :rotfl:I took the boys up to read, and I think he took the dog out, but he's been gone for over 40 minutes now - and it's dark, cool, and raining. Maybe he's upstairs??? I should maybe check. :rolleyes1

Not much more planned for tonight. He wasn't feeling great, so I have a feeling he'll be asleep on the couch if and when I find him. We're really nearly done with catching up on TV, especially now that we've come to the end of the traditional season. We don't watch many, if any, "summer season" shows, so... :thumbsup2

I think I'm gonna go find my DH. I'll check back later!

Also I asked David to pick up some bread for our picnic tomorrow well he also came home with sausage rolls, scotch eggs, vienesse whirls (Cakes) Thorntons chocolate cakes, Thorntons caramel shortbread and 2 toblerones :rotfl2:
OMG, Yum. I LOVE Scotch Eggs!!!
Hope your picnic was lovely.

That sounds about like D's shopping trips. What are scotch eggs?
Scotch eggs are hard boiled eggs, peeled off and dried VERY well. You then pat a layer about 1/2 inch think of sausage (the ground kind) around the egg as a "shell." You bread them and fry them up until the sausage is cooked and firms up and the breading is browned. OMG. Heaven! Fattening, but heaven!

Mel- So, the great bunny gender question has been determined. Hope you had some good quality time after the kids were asleep.
The quality time was lovely. Your visit with Miz Diz sounded fun too! How sweet of you and Jenny to invite them!
The bunny is definitely a girl and she's doing great!

:Good morning all! Weather is bad, work is crazy. Wanted to check in and say hi! Hope you all have ag reat day!
Hi Janet! :wave2:

Not really, everyone is busy with end of school year events, moving (Dawn), having sex chnage operations on their bunny's (Mel), geeting ready for trips, returning from trips, and chaufferring their kids back and forth to sports!
That's right.
Hi Janet! :wave2:

Busy busy since i got home. school and studying, but marc was helping me study my mammals last night.:thumbsup2
Uh-huh. Yup.
How's your head dent?

Ooooh! The phone just rang - game is canceled!
I still should shower, and Woody wants help with Legos, (the blocks, not the Wii) so I am still going to go. ;) BBL!
I was always the same with kiddie kicker soccer. I was ELATED when we didn't have to go! LOL

Howdy Fockers!! Updates are back.
MEL had bunnies and drinks over the weekend. Gus got sick. The bunny got ‘her’ snip from the doctor and is doing fine.
Yup. Gus is FINALLY able to eat rice, applesauce, etc. He's going to try school tomorrow!

I think I told you guys that I kept 2 of her daughters last Friday night and took them with me back to Ohio the next morning. They had a Kenny Chesney concert to go to. Her oldest, B, wasn't happy about having to go with her dad instead of her mom. This is why:

While in route to KI, she got a call from her dad. Her mom was doing great. Rockie could even here her in the background complaining and telling her she loved her. That made Rockie's day.

Have a great evening and tomorrow.
I am so glad to hear that Rockie's mom is doing well.

Boy, no Dawn, no Mel... I'm never nearly first. :rotfl2:

My dad has his full-body PET scan today, to see the extent of the cancer. Good thoughts, please. :grouphug: I'll let you know when I find out anything. Mom is rather bothered, because she did find a medical site (recommended by their doctors) which gives most people with this type of non-Hodgkins lymphoma only an average of 7-9 years after diagnosis. It is obviously better than "months" but he's only 65, so she was hoping to have him around longer than that. Of course, that's average, and not everyone has is the same... And who knows? In 5 years, they may be able to cure it.
Loads and loads of good thoughts heading out to IL. :lovestruc
Please let us know when they have more info.

BTW, Bob gives me the same song and dance about how he can't concentrate when he's home. Puh-lease.... :rotfl:

Gramma was on her best behavior all weekend, but is having a hard time keeping it up.
NEW LIVING ARRANGEMENTS FOR GRAMMA

Just a quick pop-in to catch-up and say good morning while waiting for the sitter... :sunny:

TTFN!
Howdy Mr. T!!!! Hope it's a good day!

Hopefully Dawn will be able to check in today. I think Mel is just ignoring us:rolleyes1
OMG. I have been tending a sick, vomiting and hershey squirtin' little boy and a bunny with a "hoo hoo" scar and who needs to have an ORAL medicine twice a day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Update on that woman who was arrested at WDW. There are rumblings of domestic and financial problems, so she took money (over several weeks) and her co-workers ID to buy plane tickets and has been at the GRAND FLORIDIAN. That's right, if you have financial troubles go stay at the most expensive hotel on property:sad2: I feel bad for the little girl.
Well, when I snap, that's my plan......

I'm back, and so is Mitch :goodvibes,
SOOOOOOO glad you made it home safely (both of you!!!) and that the visit wasn't TOO bad!

Well, that's about it for me. Hope y'all are having a good day! :)
Lori, both the kiddos are SO cute. I didn't get a chance to comment on Linds pic last week!

He then runs to get a mouth full of water and demonstrates his new skill. I swear I will never understand boys!
Yup. That sounds about right.
LOL

Guess who's back on-line?!

Have a nice night, everyone! :grouphug:
FINALLY. Oh Man! Thank Goodness.

Dang Rosie. I wasn't going to comment but your quote was so freakin' funny! I can just imagine you sitting there! HaHaHaHa!!!!

Ok, so Gus is feeling a wee bit better. He ate soup, rice and some jello. That's all he's eaten really (besides liquids) since Sunday night!!! Poor little guy. He wants to try school tomorrow. I am SO glad. As much as I love the boys, I haven't had a break in 10 days and I'm feeling it.

The bunny is doing fine today. She's eaten and had water, finally. I was dreading that she wouldn't today and I'd have to take her back to the vet. It's already over $200 so far.....:scared1:

Bob has tomorrow off, and I'll be at the library working for a couple of hours to start the day. Then home to hopefully have some ALONE time. Wink Wink!

Hope you are all doing well. Did anyone watch the first episode of Tori and Dean the other night? I have only watched 1/2 so far, but I loved the last season(s). They are such a nice couple.
Nicer than that dang Jon and Kate. Sheesh! What a train wreck.

Oh, quickly, before I forget again - the reason I'd logged on before dinner was to say that I did hear from my parents. The PET scan results won't be in for about a week, but they feel they need to go ahead, even without finding out anything more. He's having the chemo port put in (a surgical procedure) tomorrow morning early, and chemo will start Mon/Tues, followed by the 3 weeks off.

So, we don't know anymore, but he's not excited about starting to feel bad with the chemo. :sad2:

OK, really think I'd better go find D. :upsidedow

Guess who's back on-line?!
 about the messy day. That really really sucks about the moldy stuff. Are they going to do anything for you? Thats their fault that their truck is leaky!

Evenin All!! Had an interesting training today.... SEXUALITY ASSESSMENTS!!!

:confused3 I dont know what field your in, so i am soo lost!

V- keens as in the shoes? Like tevas? I wear tevas and i love them! I think keens are very similar.

I need some enabling!
I'm planning our trip to DL for sept. :cloud9: I LOVE planning! And i get to decide where we stay. Its kind of a mess because we have a bunch of family in covina that will be there, but of course im not sure whos running, and who wants to stay in the hotel with us. :faint: but then theres marc, me and my grandma for sure. Hopefully mom and dad too. And then if were going my cousin may want to go too, but im guessing not because shell be about 8 months prego.

So.....i need to know where we should stay. We could stay off property across the street, which i wouldnt mind, but i know many of those arent as nice. Thats where marc and i stay, but we didnt care too much. They would be cheaper, but not necessarily. I may be able to get a cast member discount for the on property hotels, but im not positive on the prices. At the very least we can get an AP discount (hopefully).

BTW has anyone noticed that DL hotels are significantly more expensive than wdw? Its not fair. :headache:

What do you guys think would make for a better family vacation type place? I guess this is aimed at the CA people....:rolleyes1

marcs making dinner and it smells so good!

I quoted but am too crabby to re-read it all.

 Sorry about the crappy day and neighboor. I hated apartment living. When my ex and I were first married we woke up to our neighboor every morning to what sounded like them jumping on the bed and loud music. :rolleyes1 I know I banged on the floor a few times and finally left a note for them to stop.

Glad you enjoyed the movie though and can't wait to see the new cut.

Lori, Your son has grown so much!!! Isn't it amazing how much they change in just 9 months? I love the idea of a first day and last day of school photo. Today is our last day so I need to be sure to take one of the kids!

Thanks! He really has grown. Heck both of them have! LOL As for the first and last day pics I would love to have them taken in the same place each time but half the time I don't remember where that is and am lucky to get the pic in the first place.

I watched Tori & Dean and like them a lot as well. I watched both of the other seasons and was always like are you kidding me?!? when she asked about her weird pregnancy questions but still they are both hilarious and I know I was LOL'ing the other night when I watched.

As I was just going to say something about the whole Jon & Kate thing and how crazy it is. I enjoyed watching them when they were first on but things have definately changed over the years/seasons and can't stand either of them anymore. I feel so sorry for those kids.

Glad Gus is feeling better though and will at least try going to school tomorrow. Hope you have a quiet day.

I was only little when my mom went through her first rounds of chemo and I know it made her sicker than a dog and weak. But, hers was also done in the hospital at the time. Later on when she had it done, I was much older, it really had no affect on her. Like Janet said, fine the day it happened, tired the next and maybe one more after that, and then she was fine until she had to go through another round. Just keep posititve thoughts. I know I will for you guys.

:scared1: Bedtime could not get here soon enough for us tonight! Since its been nice out the kids have been playing outside more in the evening. Well tonight we had t-sorms and lightening so they couldn't play out in it. So they drove me nuts running around the house along with our dog who is afraid of storms. I was really counting down those minutes!

My dad's 60th birthday is tomorrow and we'll be going to my grandma's for dinner. The kids and I were going to bake a cake for him but I guess we don't have to now. Eh...maybe I'll bake it tonight so he can have a piece in the morning with his coffee.

Night everyone!

Hi Angela

I forgot to tell you guys that Chris was in an accident Friday.
Oh no! I do remember reading somewhere that when you are first in an accident your body pumps so much adrenaline that if you are injured you may not feel any pain at first. But then after the adrenaline leaves, your pain may start to show you that you were in fact injured. I hope that makes sense. And I hope it is nothing serious and that he is ok.

Guess who's back on-line?!

Yesterday was the last day of school for the kiddos. My niece is on her senior trip to NY so I am taking today off to watch the kids. It is going to be a major housecleaning day for us. I had a long talk with the kids last night and told them I expected them to help today and this would be their spending money in Disney. We will see how it goes.

Hope everyone has a happy FRIDAY!!!!!

Just keep posititve thoughts. I know I will for you guys.

Thanks, Lori.

Well tonight we had t-sorms and lightening so they couldn't play out in it. So they drove me nuts running around the house along with our dog who is afraid of storms. I was really counting down those minutes!

With all the rain we have been having, I'm having the same issue. Woody's ALWAYS a bear Thursday afternoons, anyway, and being stuck inside (and no Wii...) :headache:

My dad's 60th birthday is tomorrow and we'll be going to my grandma's for dinner.

Hope he has a happy one! :)

:hug: For you and your Dad.

Thanks, Kat.

And she got into a fight with a kid at lunch the other day... :rolleyes1

I'm glad they are being aggressive too. for waiting

Yeah, it's better. Thanks.

Yikes! He was just whispering in his sleep!!! Creepy! :scared1: It's bad enough trying to get used to the noises in a new house without that!

:rotfl:

Good morning! It's me! Back at the right time and the right place!

There we go - the other was freaking me out! :lmao:
Of course, all this hinges on Gus going to school. AND since he isn't even awake yet, that's not really a sure thing. Here's hoping.

And?... Hope he's feeling better, so that you can feel GOOD (insert some bum-chicka-wow-wow music here.) :rotfl2:

Good morning everyone!

Good morning!
Did you ever find him? Where was he?

Our neighbor was grilling on his back porch, and D was over there. As soon as I stuck my head out the door, I heard them. I stuck the info in the "last edited" line - some of us tend to sneak stuff in there, so I always read them. ;)

I told him later that if he ever DID fall into the ditch, it would only take me 45 minutes to go looking for him. :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

Never been to DL so sorry I can't help.

Sam, I didn't quote, but in roughly 1998 I stayed at the Candy Cane Inn and it was fine, but then you said you and Marc do that, but weren't sure about your family. Good luck!

Good luck!

It's really getting hard to wake up easily, with the rain. It's yet again raining and 48. Today is supposed to get just a tad warmer, then tomorrow we're back to 77 and partly sunny. :thumbsup2

As far as I know, I am in school for my usual quick volunteering this morning. It's the first time in a few weeks again.

D says he needs to work again (he's the safety officer for the flight department, and I think he has to do a presentation at a meeting on Monday), but I don't know if he'll run away from me again or not. ;) He wasn't feeling great last night, so I got up with the kids this morning and was meaning to let him sleep. But he came down anyway to take them out to the bus and the dog for a walk. I guess he's not SICK sick. :confused3

We're discussing making movie night be actually going out to see Up, but we haven't decided fully yet.

That's about all I know! I'll be in and out. Hope the morning is off to a good start for everyone!

I will have a 12 year old tomorrow. Is 12 considered to be a teenager? Regardless, I'm not ready for 12, but it's happening when I like it or not. ;)

ROFL!!!! Dawn, your Mel-names killed me. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Yes, you can say you told me so.....
Sorry about K snore-whispering. LOL
;)

I'm going to work in the library today. It's probably my last day to do that for the year. Bob's home this morning but I guess he'll just have to wait to see me...
Naked

Dawn, your nicknaming is killin me :rotfl2:

Let us know what you think. Part of me wants to see it because it's Pixar, then part of me's not interested. :confused3

So, K went to work today and B's in SA for dance. It's just me and the the "medium kids" (they were the little kids, but we upgraded them) today. We have to go get groceries, and maybe a couple of fans and little things for the house.

I have a call in to DVC already. :yay:

Morning. I started to quote but had to stop as I'm out of time! :flower3: Hope everyone has a great Friday!

My back is all screwy - sciatica's acting up badly and I'm in a ton of pain... whilst tied to the computer for a full day of writing. :headache: I'm off to take some Advil and stretch for a minute.
