There's a link to an article over on the resorts board. At first it sounded like the lady just snapped, but then she was part of a shady non-profit with a lawyer who lost her license.

I thought it was shady from the start, especially when I heard that the daughter was withdrawn from school on May 1st...or I could just be a cynic:rolleyes1

Yup, that's weird too.

Very true.

I'm back, and so is Mitch :goodvibes, just trying to get my house straightened. The visit with my parents wasn't as bad as I thought, but the visit with my godmother was interesting. She and her daughter, who is my goddaughter, have a lot of issues to work on, and I felt like I was in the middle. I think Amanda is angry at her mother because it's easier than being angry at her husband. But anyway. ;) The twins are adorable and I had fun with them. I did take a lot of pictures in Memphis and Richmond, so after I edit them, I'll post. to everyone. I'm glad to be home for a while. We're supposed to go to Atlanta in a few weeks. We'll have fun, but right now it's not something I want to do.

Well, the boredom overtook me..I did it...what I SWORE I wasn't going to do...

I started a PTR:sad2:

Here We Go Again

I quoted but am too crabby to re-read it all.

Got my haircut yesterday. it's a bit short but a nice job. I took camera phone pics, i'll try and post later.

Start Trek was GREAT. I was a sort of fan of the original but LOVED the next generation series. This made me wanna watch all of it all over again! Great flick!

We had a nice time. We had Quiznos before the movie and had some candy during the movie. Of course i snuck that in. :rolleyes1 The movie tickets were free passes so the night only cost about $20 total! :woohoo:

This morning is why I am crabby....my neighbors decided to play their music REALLY loud this morning, so much so it work em up! And it's in Arabic so it's even more annoying to me because I can't understand it.I read for over and hour, the music stopped and i feel back to sleep only to have ti come on AGAIN. I got up and banged on the wall, it stopped for a while but as I'm typing this it's starting a bit again. These are the people who leave their children in the ahlls ans they scream to get back in. Oh the joys of apartment living!

What the heck is wrong with people?! I told KC I want to write a book "How to deal with a ****** neighbor!" because we have had some winners.

And I haven't had any coffee yet!!:scared1:

I am off to remedy that and have some pineapple cheese bread I made Tuesday.

Thanks. :goodvibes

Leo and I managed to get a riding lesson in on Tues. before the rain came. I managed to get my darn horse to trot a few times all by myself! (Just trust me - it's a schooling horse (read: LAZY) so this is a major accomplishment. ;) )

Congrats!

Gramma was on her best behavior all weekend, but is having a hard time keeping it up.

CE- Sending good thoughts and prayers!

Thank you.

Hope you have a good day! :)

Hopefully Dawn will be able to check in today. I think Mel is just ignoring us:rolleyes1

;)

Pixie dust being sent:goodvibes:hug:

Thanks.

Not much going on here. dreary morning but the sun is supposed to come out and it supposed to go up to almost 80. Of course I ams tuck in the office today. But it is my last day...I'm off tomorrow:yay:

Is the ballgame a day or night game? Have a good day today!

That's all just too, too sad.

I'm back, and so is Mitch :goodvibes,

Glad you're both home safe and sound. We missed you!

:rotfl:I have it open on another tab. ;)

Fun tennis was fun (and I played well!) and then my Tuesday team had a couple of courts, but either didn't get enough people or someone didn't show. They started at 10:00 - my class didn't end until 10:30 - but when I finished, they asked me to stay for another hour, to make 8 for 2 games of doubles... So, I played for 2 1/2 hours. I'm tired! :lmao: Then, I went to the store, and came home and just ate and caught up, and now it's after 1:00. Where does the time go?

Anyway, that's about it. D worked at home whilst I was gone, but I am apparently driving him away, as he's showering now to go out to Panera for a bit. :rotfl2:

Truly, I understand - we do tend to talk about stuff, and that doesn't help him concentrate.

I talked to my parents this morning - they were on their way to the hospital for the tests, and I was on the way to tennis. They are supposed to call me when they're done - no word yet. :wizard:

I'll be around!

Hi Everyone!!!
Kat, sorry you are having neighbor problems  Do you think you could steal his radio? :rolleyes1

Lori, Your son has grown so much!!! Isn't it amazing how much they change in just 9 months? I love the idea of a first day and last day of school photo. Today is our last day so I need to be sure to take one of the kids!

Well it is 12:45 and I am about ready to start working today :lmao:
But first I want to share a conversation I had with Omicron last night.

After church was over I was talking to another mom and he kept hitting me on my arm saying "mom, mom, mom, mom"

Me: Not now son, I'm talking to an adult

Him: UGghh! Mom!!!

Me: You are gonna have to wait

**He leaves and comes back in about 20 seconds**

Him: mom mom! Mom! MOM!!!!

**Repeat same conversation about 10 times**

Me: Fine, what is it that is so important that you have to interrupt an adult to adult conversation?

Him: Mom, I can gurgle and run at the same time, you want to see?

He then runs to get a mouth full of water and demonstrates his new skill. I swear I will never understand boys!

I forgot to tell you guys that Chris was in an accident Friday. He was sitting at a stop light when I guess a light for another lane turned green. A log truck two cars back started to go, but then stopped but not before hitting the car behind Chris and pushing that car into Chris. There is absolutely no damage to Chris' car, but the hit was hard enough to knock his blue tooth off his ear and it landed in the back seat. Does this sound bizarre? Now I will say that I had a Grand Am in which I was rear ended 4 times and each time the bumper just popped back to normal. He did go to the ER and everything looked ok. However, yesterday he said he is now having pains in his back in areas that have never hurt before. Any experts out there on this subject?

Ugh! Glad it wasn't serious!

Not an expert, but I would definitely go to the doctor!

Guess who's back on-line?!

Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!! :yay:

All I can say about the day of closing is that it was about par for the course lately... :sad2: This whole process was so horrible. Our buyers and their agent were shady, and we're lucky that it closed at all, I guess. They never had a possibility of moving in early, so we moved out and stored our stuff for no good reason.
On Tuesday, we ended up finding out the buyers of our house didn't sign all the paperwork Friday and had to come in to sign so we could get our money for closing. We ended up borrowing some $ from mom and using our savings to put down and paying it so we wouldn't have to wait for the proceeds of our sale (at about 3:30pm). It was a mess. The movers were waiting in our driveway for more than 3 hours and we didn't get a key until about 5pm. :scared1: Then as they were unloading the last few boxes we realized there must have been a leak in one of the trucks our stuff was stored on and about 20 boxes had things that were wet and moldy.

I was told by everyone invloved that it was the worst closing/move they had ever been involved in. :headache: Whatever. Seriously, I just shake my head now. I am SO thankful it's over.

I'd better get a grocery list together since we had our new fridge delivered this afternoon. :thumbsup2

Have a nice night, everyone! :grouphug:
