Knowing my motha's dog...she probably did. Remember...my motha has the food hound 3 legged dog...and the dog who can talk.

Someone has a naughty streak!


I really haven't been "hungry"- just annoyed that I can't eat. I did get a headache last night and have tummy pains, but I just got my big girl panties on and dealt with it.
I may have whined to Kirt if it was all "coming out", why couldn't I eat. He found that humorous. Whatev.

FWIW--it's been a good surgery week here---my FIL had rotator cuff surgery on Monday and is doing well.......and my mom had oral surgery on Monday and is doing good too (back at work).

That was me as a kid... we ate a LOT of take-out - everyone wanted to have dinner at my house. When I had dinner at a new friend's, I came home ridiculously excited and told my mom, "Mrs. Mathiesz actually COOKS dinner! And we ate together at a table with cloth napkins, and real bread and butter!!!"

As I was leaving...and this is the best part...the vet slips me his card with his number on it. Apparently, he finds me hilarious and cute. So, there was an upside to the night.

Well, at least it's not dairy!

I spent near $100 on junk food for this weekend. I could not believe the cost of some fruit, chips, beer, and fruit drinks.

I hear ya. I bought a bunch of stuff to take with us to WDW this weekend, thinking I'd save some $$ on food... I'm not so sure it's a savings.

Imagine how quiet it will be...me, Jo, T, V, LL, Mel, Lessa, Kat, Z, Mo, CE are all going to be gone for some stretch of time (at the same time)

I may actually still know what's going on around here when I get back!

God made puppies cute or we'd never put up with this.

Kittens, too. And also 6yo boys.

But I think a little quiet around here would be a Refreshing change. Yes V you should be able to keep up. might only be 5 pages all week

Sorry Dawn... I did not say food. Chicken broth was all I had yesterday.. might be today as well. I feel better must be the soup.

I don't know... It seems like unfair torture to me. It's 48 hours of liquids (no milk products today) and then at noon today, the dreaded pills that keep you in the bathroom for hours.
I just hope I can keep the pills down. They are HUGE!!! I have to take 20 in one hour with 8oz of liquid every 15 minutes. Blech. Thinking about it makes me feel sick.

Yup they want us clean inside and out 20 pills ??? That alone will make you throw up.

I asked K to send a PM to Janet and Katt once we get home. He said I could use his laptop when I feel up to it.

Did your fil have the "Shoulder Block"? That was miserable. I felt like I could not breathe. I am a deep breather and the block made it IMPOSSIBLE.

I don't know---it was outpt surgery this time--he has a fancy ice pack. My MIL is a LPN and is keeping a good eye on him. He'll be wanting to get out of the house soon!

(BTW---8 years ago, he had this surgery on the other shoulder---he got a staph infection and needed IV antibiotics.......right before our Disney trip was scheduled............we lived in TX then and we were all flying in to meet there.........but we all went anyway! My MIL requested a small fridge.......put the meds in there.....then hooked him up each day after the parks!

(she's as nuts about Disney as me....almost!)

My hearing aid is broke.... they had to send it back to the factory---she said they made it so small to fit my ear that the material was too thin...
I am NOT happy.
