TEAM FIVE: Herc's Heroes--Post miles/hours here!

Hi all!

I've been in Las Vegas since Sunday, and have been walking all over the place, but I have no idea how many miles. However, the good news is I think that all this walking has helped to strengthen my knee!

I plan to start tracking my mileage again after I get home on Sunday.

1st reporting week of Mar(3/1-3/7)
hours 8.4
miles 92.54 includes indoor triathlon race

2nd reporting week of Mar(3/8-3/14)
hours 6.867
miles 107.82 includes Shamrock run race

Survived my first 12 miler yesterday! :yay:
Last 2 miles hurt and it got hot - car said 69 when I finished. Average pace ended up being 11:03. Hoping I run something similar in my first half in a couple weeks - I want to be under 2:30. Took an ice bath afterward and I feel pretty good today.

So here's my totals for the week -
21 miles / 3:49:44
+
2 miles / 40:00 (warmups & cooldowns)
=
23 miles / 4:29:44

Next 2 weeks I'm tapering and then the week after my half I probably won't run and the following week I'll be in WDW sooo... I might not be adding many miles in to Team Herc. :sad2:

Hope Team Herc has an AWESOME weekend! :cheer2:

I went to Walmart and purchased a Pedometer, you would be surprised and how many walking miles you put on in a week at WDW. I did 13 of regular walking in addition to my power walking in the morning. I only counted my times of power walking my all my miles.

Just wanted to pop in real quick and post my totals from yesterday and today!! Yesterday was 3 miles in 25:47. I did those 3 at 8pm last night, because I got home so late, but I just HAD to get the miles in!! Then this morning I woke up and got 5 miles in 45:10!! I promise to catch up more on Monday!! Have a good weekend everyone!!

Sunday - 36.88 miles over 2:10:31 in the local "Tour de LADR", do bike races count double too? ;)

Hey gang, checking in with my totals from last week (3/8-14)! Sorry I'm late, I was in VA Beach this weekend for the Shamrock Marathon (where I PR'd!!!)

8 mi/86 minutes
5.8 mi/56 minutes
5mi/48 min
2.4 mi/25 minutes
30 minutes elliptical ("3.5 miles")
25 minutes rowing
10 minutes weights
20 minutes strength exercises
----------------------------
21.2 miles (+3.5 elliptical miles...I still don't know if those count?)//5 hours total

Personally kicking off this week for myself with 2.2 miles/20 minutes on Saturday, and the Shamrock marathon, 26.2 miles/3:59 on Sunday!!!! (I made it sub-4! I can't believe it! :woohoo:)

Sorry guys, I know this is late but I've been reporting Monday through Sunday and I figured I should just stick with that:

Monday: Fit Ball (1:00:00)
Tuesday: 3.01 mi (34:27)
Sunday: St. Patrick's Day Race 6.14 mi (1:07:12)

Are we doubling miles and times for local races? If so:

Total: 15.29 mi, 3:48:51

Hi All...checking in for w/e 3/14. Unfortunately, not the 'start up' I was hoping for due to illness. However, log me in for the week as follows:

4.5 miles walk/run at 1:15 hours.

It felt good to start up again and look forward to increasing performance this week. Also, DH and I are looking for organized 5K's and 10k's to do for training runs.

GOING THE DISTANCE...little by little!

Good job Hercs and yes, the races count as double miles! :woohoo:

Ran 3 miles this morning in 31:17. Taper madness... popcorn::

You guys are doing great over here! :goodvibes

Shan...HOW excited are you for the race??? It's sooo close now! :)

Ok... are we supposed to post our daily stats or just weekly? Just in case here are mine from yesterday!! 4 miles 30:03. My mileage for this week will only be about 17 miles, but I am slowly ramping up my mileage again after a long hiatus after the full!! I promise to contribute more as the weeks go by!!

Moonie - Awesome job on that PR!! That's quite a difference in time for just 3 months!!

Shan - You are going to do great on your half!! Have fun!!

Hey Heroes has anyone heard from your team captain? I haven't seen her post for a while. The team needs a co-captain also, someone with some computer skills. If anyone is interested please let me know?

Duckie where are you?

Curious Panda:hippie:

Hi team!
I was in Disney last week 3/10-3/16. Had a great time, realized just how far it is from Epcot to MK (GULP!) and was scared and yet excited to know the next time I see the castle is when I am running through it!

I wish I had worn a pedometer last week, logged a lot of walking miles. But I didn't. Hoping to get back in the groove this week. Desperately want warm weather after the taste I had last week down in Orlando! Feeling under the weather today but hope to get outside by the end of the week and get consistant.

Allyson

Ya, I was thinking today I hadn't seen Duckie in awhile...
And Sandy was the co-captain, correct?

I ran 3 miles today in 31:38.

Keep moving Hercs! :cheer2:
