For sure Team Edward.
I am probably in the minority but I think he is the sweetest guy alive.
I liked Jacob until he forced Bella to kiss him. A true friend would want you to be happy.
Edward tells Bella "Be Happy" when she is thinking about being with Jacob, and I have never seen Jacob want that for Bella.

And i just have to say, I'm really getting annoyed at people being team edward before seeing the movie (and having already read new moon), and then being team jacob after. It's like, so why were'nt you team jacob when you read the book? The same stuff that happened in the book happened in the movie.
Sorry that was just really annoying me, so i had to say that

I didn't start liking Jacob till "Breading Dawn" then when I re-read the books, Jacob wasn't that bad.

In my case, I was like, 14-15 when I first read those books. I was a freshman who had absolutely no guy standards therefore Edward was the most appealing thing ever.
Now that I think of the it logically, and more from Jacob's point of view... I'm kind of like. You know what? Jacob totally deserves Bella, and if I were a guy and that happened to me I wouldn't let it go.

But I also liked the books when I was 14. I now dislike them. Bella is a wishy-washy character, Edward is kind of controlling, and let's go back to Bella, she was whiny and boring.

My opinion does change over time. Edward holds no appeal because he's not realistic, the relationship isn't either (forget the vampire thing, it's just not) where Jacob is a very solid and realistic guy.

Team Edward for just sooo many reasons. I think a lot of people only like Jacob because of the actor that portrays him in the movie.

I think a lot of people are only Team Jacob for the movie.

In the books he is a jerk most of the time during New Moon, and he forces himself on Bella.
The director made him seem like a good guy in the film, but in the book when he becomes a werewolf his is dark and mean.

Edward on the other hand only has Bella's safety and happiness on his mind. He is selfless.

Yeah half the people didn't get who she was at first either...
She had the reddish-brunette hair pulled back and teased in front, a TON of pale makeup on, blue t-shirt with a gray pea coat, and one of her brothers' pairs of jeans xD
Our other friend was Bella, they looked so great
