Good Afternoon. Slept late because I got in late last night. Down another pound this week. As long as I keep going with at least 1 a week I am happy.
We had a great time out and everyone kept saying "why didn't we do this sooner?" and "We need to do this again" so hopefully we can make it a monthly thing. I was sooooooooooo good.
Mikamah, I avoided the chips again and kept thinking of you! I sat at the end of the table where I couldn't even reach them. I had a steak thing (tasted just like fajitas but not cut up) and it was really good. And for lunch I had a huge salad, at half there and brought the rest home for my afternoon snack .
Have to figure out our menu for the next week or so today and then we are going to go and hit the one grocery store chain we have never been to on the other side of town and see if their produce is any better than we are finding here.
Need to check with DH on his plans for tomorrow. Tradition calls for a bag of Doritos for the SuperBowl so we need to figure out some other options.
So far my little daily planner thing I bought at
Walmart is working great for journaling. I have plans to jazz it up with some of my scrapbooking stuff but keep putting it off. Maybe during the game tomorrow.
I"m new here and have been lurking a bit on and off for the past week or so. I guess it's time to jump right in...

Jump on in, great to have you here!
I may have some wrenches thrown in my plans here before too many more months. Hopefully I don't get thrown off plan with eating and exercising if they come about.
LTS,
I've never really had a girls' night out. I don't feel like I'm missing anything because I'm not into that sort of thing. Bars and drinks I mean. It is nice to get out and have a night of our own from time to time.

So sorry that things are rough. It is hard to keep those good habits when life is throwing you so many curveballs. Just remember when chaos is reigning fight back by keeping control with those good habits.
We usually just go out to dinner at a chain type place like Friday's or Outback-- somewhere that does serve drinks for those that wish. Everyone at the table but me had a large Margarita and that was about it. In the past the key considerations in picking somewhere was that they serve drinks and have awesome desserts! I am sooooooo glad we don't have a Cheesecake Factory here--the desserts would kill me! Friend next to me ordered Fried Ice Cream and I wanted to stab her with my fork and steal it!
UH OH Team Donald! Team Mickey has taken a 13 pound lead so far!!!
Come on, you don't want to lose again this week!
Well, actually we DO want to lose this week-- so we can WIN the challenge this week!
drive by posting, we are having another DIS crop in the scrapbook section.
OK, yeah I've been inhaling way to much scrap glue!!!! LOL Or it was the happy hour meet and greet we had at the crop.
Let me know when you have the next one, I would love to join in.
New here!! Hello, everyone! Thought I would swing by and introduce myself! My name is Mandie Jo

Looking forward to getting to know everyone! Looks like I have a lot of reading and catching up to do!!

Don't bother trying to read and catch up if you don't want to. Just jump in from here. Great to have you here!
After work we stopped and had supper out, and I did well, ordered fish, brocolli, and mashed potatoes which I only ate a couple bites, and I did have a piece of bread and butter, went grocery shopping, and did not come home with any chips or crackers.

Setting a good example. . .
I thought why did I buy a house, wouldn't it be better to just have called a landlord? This winter is really messing with my head, but I don't think I'm alone.
Because a Landlord can say okay we will get to it in a day or so. Since you have the control you can get things done on your terms.

And because with a house you can hang pictures anywhere you want!

DH and I hated not being able to put nails in the walls in our apartments.
LTSIt definitely gets tougher the longer we go. It's so cyclical during the year too, I know once the weather starts to warm up, I'll tend to get out and move more, and get remotivated.
The funny thing is that I actually find summer much harder to manage because we lose all routine and schedule. The school year is so much easier for me. We end up running all over and at Swim Meets and out with friends and doing so much on the go in the summer it is much harder for me to stick with things. I am really going to work on that for this summer.
I think I may have figured out what is wrong with my stomach. I had a headache when got in last night and as I grabbed some Ibuprofen I realized I had been taking it quite a bit lately (2-3x a day) because my hip is really bothering me, particularly since I have been doing some exercise. I have had problems in the past if I take it too long so I think I've probably messed up my stomach with it again. Switching to some stomach friendlier stuff and will call the dr on Monday to discuss it.
