Aloha cousins! My times/miles is...

223 minutes, 11.39mi

I guess Linda and I are at a point where I can post again. My PT and home work( 3 times a day) are now mine and not run by a machine. I have also started to do some mileage on crutches. Killer on the arms and hands(carpal):( But I am trying to do something. I will probably do very light bike or some pool work soon. I am 5 1/2 weeks with crutches and was warned I might have another 5 + weeks before loosing them. I will be forced to have my post op brace for another 3 weeks. This is even uglier than thought(hard to do) but I must just kick it and work my butt off. I want to prove to Dr that I am ready in 3 weeks to ditch crutches. So far post op appts have gone well with range of motion(now 104 degrees) and swelling are on course with protocol.

I crutched 3 miles this week and total of 9.5 hrs(very painful to boot). Add the same for Linda.

Great job everyone. I have been lurking and impressed with everyones progress:thumbsup2

Keep it up team :)

for the week ending 5/2

Physical Therapy (BLAH!) 1hr 40min
Bike 35min 9.16mi
Run 30min 2.35mi
Weights 40min
Walk 45min 2.85mi

Totals:
Miles: 14.36
Hours: 4hr 10min

My hours/distance for the week:

Time: 5:06
Distance: 72.46

This includes a 5K with DS and DD(13) yesterday. Since DS leaves for the Air Force in 4 weeks DD has taken up being my running buddy. She placed third in her age group which I'm proud of since she does not train for running. Gymnastics gives her great stength, but not much running. She will probably start a one day a week program so she can do RFT.

The 5K was the last race for this year's local Grand Prix series. DS took 1st in his age group. Glad they finished before he left.

Today DW, DS, and I race Minnie. Had a great time. That was DW longest race to date. She has not killed me yet and is starting to talk about the 1/2 in Jan.

For the week 4/26 - 5/2:

Dennis -- 8 miles/120 minutes

Maria -- 8.834 miles/135 minutes

On the bright side, we are both already ahead of last week. Working my way back up to 50 miles, eventually!

OK - quick before Jeanne gets home.....the pre-Minnie-taper/make-up training week:

The week of 4/26-5/2

186 minutes
12.9 miles

Yikes, I just realized I haven't posted stuff in awhile.

4/27 45 min walking (played 9 holes disc golf)
4/28 2 miles 27.5 min
4/30 2.07 miles 30 min

Totals:
4.07 miles 102.5 min

I'm back, but haven't had time to post the miles. I do payroll and people will be very upset tomorrow if there are no paychecks because I was tallying miles and minutes!
I'll try to get to it tonight.

OK, guys, I just checked the spreadsheet and noticed it is not on a Saturday thru Friday schedule anymore. Please just post the miles the way you always have been posting them. Our monthly totals may be a little off, but in the end it will all even out. I will be posting activity from 4/26 thru 5/2 in the column labelled 5/1 thru 5/7. If it doesn't bother you, it's doesn't bother me. The last column week ion the May spreadsheet will probably have 2 weeks worth of activity, but i can handle it.

Off to post........

May 3 - 9 (or something like that!)
14.5 miles
298 minutes (4 hr 58 min)

The only thing I did this week was the Minnie race, LTO after getting home.

9.3 miles x 2=18.6

2:16 time

I wish I could do 18 miles in that amount of time.

Nancy

Aloha, cousins!! for the week ending 5/9 my totals are (including a 5k race bonus!)

24.93mi, 193.17min
