A couple of months ago we booked 2 rooms @ Dolphin for $129, now I'm seeing $139. Does this reflect the Resort Fee or has the base rate for the discount gone up?

That may include the now-mandatory  resort fee.

Where are you seeing the $139? As of yesterday the goverment rate on the website was still $129.

Bill we booked the government rate for $129 BUT...

an extra $10 resort fee
6.5 percent sales tax
5 percent resort tax

so it really comes to almost $150.00 a night with all the little extras. Dream Res is advertising for 139, maybe that is what your seeing, but when I just checked their link it comes up $129 and specifically says that $10 will be added to your room per night which would bring it to $139.00.

Might as well throw my calculations in the mix,lol...

We booked at $129. Add 11.5% tax ($14.84), which makes the nightly Govt. Rate to be $143.84.

Then add the 'randomly mandatory' Resort Fee of $10/night, and $153.84/night is what I wound up paying.

So, just to back up with what Emmy said...It looks like the $139 rate is Dream's advertised special, and the Govt. Rate at the S/D is still in effect.

Just for comparison:
Rack rate at the All-Stars for the time I'm going (July 4):
$99 + 12% tax = $110.88 per night

Rack rate at moderates:
$144 + 11.5% tax = $160.56 per night

Rack rate at Wilderness Lodge (it's value season for deluxes):
$199 + 11.5% tax = $221.89 per night

So, I am sticking with the Swan for now...if I want to save some cash I will have to switch to the All-Stars. What I REALLY want is an AP rate...but who knows about those...
