Teacher Discounts Apirl 2008?

Hi Everyone! I'm planning a surprise trip for my husband in April for my spring break from school. Do you know if there are any discounted rates for teachers? Thank you!

I don't know of any codes yet, but the Swan or Dolphin (I think it's the Swan) offer discounts for teachers.

Both Swan and Dolphin offer Teacher Discounts. If you go to the DIS Homepage and click on the Swan/dolphin box on the right side of the screen you can put in your dates and the teacher Discount and see what rate is available. I think it was 199.00 plus tax when I last checked. I would book now, as the discounted rooms go fast. You can always cancel later (with no penalty, I think) if things don't work out.

Disney resorts (in the past few years anyway) have not had any discounts specifically for teachers. Only the Swan and Dolphin offer this kind of discount.

I don't see where I can choose a teacher discount in the drop down menu. Do I choose "government rate"?

Go to http://www.dreamsunlimitedtravel.com Their website will show you if a teacher discount is available when the swandolphin.com website won't.

If there is a discount, I would go ahead and reserve it. You can always cancel with full refund. A few months ago, I reserved the teacher discount for Easter. I checked for a friend recently, and it was no longer available.
