I'm wondering which would have less sugar - which I should be drinking - I make sweet teac with about 11/2 cups for 3 qts & the Srite has 26grams of sugar - & then I'm also wondering about caffenine free Rootbear - it has 46 grams of sugar.

Is the tea a better option?

have you tried splenda for your sweetener for tea - that would then make it a better choice?

and, my H20 aerobics instructor says NO drinks with phosphorous is good - really bad for the bones................. I still am a 1 diet coke a day (for the caffeine) person but just 1. She always says "don't get me started" when folks ask about soda pop - can it be considered in your water count for the day, etc. Look at all flavored water too, a lot of them contain phosphorous -just 2 cents from my aerobics instructor toward a healthier choice - she would say "plain" water and then tea, I'm sure :goodvibes

**This is my own personal opinion**

I would go for the tea, especially if you make it yourself. Sprite and other sodas do not have sugar in them, they have high fructose corn syrup, a product that I find piles on the pounds. You can search the internet for specifics of how this products interacts with your body. It isn't pretty. Plus, with the tea, you can slowly decrease the amount of sugar until it's unsweetened tea. ;)
