Hello, I'm going to WDW in March. Its my first time!! I was just wondering the best place to have a cup of tea in each park, and what the pricing looks like to see if it worth it :) thanks!!

Well, I can't think of any place in the parks to get a cup of tea in the way I would think of 'tea time.' :confused3 You can do afternoon tea at the Grand Floridian--is that what you mean? I think some more info of what you are looking for would help people answer your question.

There is a stand that sells tea at Animal Kingdom. It is called the Royal Anandapur Tea Company. I believe they also have a kiosk near the front of the park that offers tea. I'm sorry but I don't know of any other locations in the other parks.

But as the previous poster mentioned there is the Gardenview Afternoon Tea at the Grand Floridian. I believe it is open 2-4:30. It is a nice and relaxing. Below is a link to the menu.

In addition to the Afternoon Tea at GF ( reservations can be done on disneyworld website ) and the one at AK, you can get Moroccan Mint Tea ( cold or warm ) at the Morocco Pavillion in Epcot.

You can get a cup of "normal" tea in a few places. We took my mum with us a few years ago and - being British - she had to have about 12 cups a day!!!! Off the top of my head I remember the bar / cafe area of 50's Prime Time did tea; I think Main St bakery did as well. Over the years I have ordered a cup in most table service restaurants as well ( the air-con gets a bit cold for me and I have to have something hot!!).

Twinings has a tea shop in EPCOT. You can purchase tea (bags & loose) & make a cup of tea at your resort. It can be expensive but sometimes there are blends there that aren't available at home.

Let's see.... You can find good tea in Great Britain in Epcot. I THINK that there is a stand that sells Twinings. China has a stand that sells different teas. You can grab a low cost cup of tea in Writer's Stop in DHS. I don't know what brand it is though. If you eat breakfast at Boma, they have a great hot tea (or at least they did a few years ago) that you can order but it's extra.

It's been hard to find good tea at WDW. That nasty Nescafe stuff has been around for way too long.

Afternoon Tea at the Garden View Lounge in the Grand Floridian is sooo good. I am making my third trip there this June. Afternoon tea is served from 2-4 with Yummy tea sandwiches and scones. They also have great pastries to choose from.
Enjoy your trip!

Thanks for all of your responses, I'm really looking forward to buying some loose leaf tea--so yummy!

Most of the signature TS restaurants have press pots of tea that make 2 cups and can be used as your beverage on the dining plan. I think a press pot is $5-6. We did it at Narcoosee's and Jiko.

I also drink a ridiculous number of cups of tea a day. The best is the Andapur Tea house in Asia, as the offer some great blends. Also tea place in China has a few unique ones like a jasmine. I personally take my own bags of tea, Lady Grey, Yerba Mate, Irish Breakfast, and many others with me. I then just stop at any of the coffee shops and get a cup of hot water. The Grand Floridian Afternoon Tea is a fun experience, but not my any better tea.

Outside of the World there are two great Tea Shops. One is inside any mall it's called Teavana, they have 40+ loose teas. And only in downtown Orlando they have a cute "hip" tea shop called Dandelion Communitea. It is great and the people are awesome. They also have food, but I have never tried it.

I am glad to know I am not the only one that has an assortment of teas in my purse at all times.

I'm pretty sure that the refillable mug station at BC Marketplace has Twinings tea bags. At least they did when we went last year.
