Does Disney offer this somewhere? Does anyone know about it? I heard about a tea party (perhaps with princesses?) that is appropriate for little girls. thanks in advance for your info!!

There is a tea party with Alice in Wonderland & The Mad Hatter every weekday 1.30-2.30pm at the Grand Floridian.
They all decorate their own cupcakes and have tea in their own pot (apple juice!) and it sounds like loads of fun.
You can get a PS 90 days in advance.y

I got this from Deb's site(wdwig.com)
Grand Adventures in Cooking - Children will handpaint their own apron, decorate a chef hat, read a story, and share their creations with others. Children who are potty trained and ages 3-10 may attend.

Tuesday and Friday 10 - 11:45 a.m.
Available to all guests, cost is $23.47 plus tax
Reservations 90 days in advance 407-WDW-DINE

My DD did this in Nov. She did the Pirate cruise in the morning and the Tea Party in the afternoon!
The room was decorated so pretty. The table had little settings with a tea cup, tea pot, cupcake and stuff to decorate it. DD said they played games, ate, took a picture with Alice and the Mad Hatter, which we have and then a special suprise for the moms! Also there were boys and girls there. About 15 kids and by the time it was over about half the kids left early because they were crying for their parents. I felt so bad for them.
I'm going to try and include a picture, I hope it works!http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid102/p64ebfccce2b6d4432f6fdc211b0bdeda/f9ca2022.jpg

My girls did the Tea Party at the GF with Alice and Mad Hatter last august, they were 8 and 6 at the time. They LOVED it and made friends with two girls who they still are pen pals with. I met a couple "moms" while dropping the girls off and we had lunch together at the cafe - not planned but a wonderful time!

Me dd's also did the pirates cruse the year before with cousins (the same age) and liked that but not as much as the tea party.

They haven't tried the cooking adventure yet and aren't really interested.

If you want more info on the kids programs at GF try

Have fun

I went with my 8 yo daughter to the Grand Floridian's High Tea (not the children's tea party). She loved it, felt very grown up, and it was a wonderful mother-daughter time. They have a child's menu (Mrs. Potts Tea) with typical kid food, but she actually like my choice better. Because the cost of the children's tea includes babysitting, the price of both of us attending the HIgh Tea was comparable to the price of her going to the Children's party alone.

It's a great break from MK, which is where we left the "ruffians" (DSs and DH) while we ladies had tea! Also, we didn't need to eat for the rest of the day!

My 3 year old DD has done the Alice party twice and loved it!! She asks all the time when she can go have tea with Alice again.

I think you might mean the tea party they were offering this past October or November for a trial period. It was with Sleeping Beauty at the Grand Floridian. It was expensive compared to the other character meals...something like $200 for one adult and one child. If I remember correctly, there as some sort of narrated story and Sleeping Beauty made an appearance. The child received an American Girl doll dressed like Sleeping Beauty and a bracelet. Maybe someone else can remember more details. I hope they offer it again, my DD was not old enough the last time!:)

Our two gilrs, then 4 and 7 years, went to the wonderland tea party with Alice & the Mad Hatter. They loved it!! We are planning to go back next spring and they both want to go back. We went to the parade at the Magic Kingdom the next afternoon. Alice recognized the girls and they were brought into the parade and played with Alice, Tweedle Dee, and Tweedle Dum.

They also went to the grand adventures in cooking. We have the aprons they decorated hanging on the walls in their rooms. They had a ball and want this on the list of activities next time too.

It was nice for my husband and I to have a bit of time to ourselves too. I spent one of them at the Spa getting pampered. So, a good time was had by all!
