Tea Drinkers -

I am a HUGE tea drinker - After all I am in Texas :)
Well, I am addicted to Twinings Black Currant tea. I usually buy it by the case.
At work in the morning I take 1 tea bag and make a 12 oz cup of hot tea w/ water from the coffee maker. Then throughout the day I take my huge Disney insulated mug and add a tiny bit of the tea to my water and I have flavored water throughout the day.
My co-workers I am sure think I am obsessive-compulsive as my day is ruined if I don't have my tea.
I pick out my resturants by who has the best tea.
Jason's Deli has my Black Currant tea and Quizno's Subs has a great tropical tea. I get the biggest cup they have and put straight tea in it so if I add ice at home the flvor lasts longer than if I add ice at the restaurant.
I prefer Luzisnne decaffeinated tea at home (have a big glass next to me now) ;)

My favorite is the Chai blend from a local specialty shop....much, much better than Stash's - although that's good, too. Chai replaced Celestial Seasonings Mandarin Orange Spice as my favorite - still love that too.

I especially like plain peppermint made into iced tea - just plain, no sweetener. I like it hot too when I'm sick, but don't tend to drink it hot otherwise. :confused3

There are a number of other really good herb teas (I tend to stick with these) and black or green tea blends at that specialty shop, but she still isn't on-line so it won't do any good to name them.

Oh - and DH likes Stash's Peach Black Tea.

My ultimate favorite is Peppermint tea. I love Celestial Seasonings tea. I also enjoy Green tea & Black tea. I like Earl Grey also. My mother-in-law loves Mango tea. I haven't yet to try that one. I just bought some french vanilla tea. I haven't tried it yet. Perfectly Pear White sounds delicious too. I haven't seen that flavor at the stores around here yet?

Well, today is too cold to stay in a lounge! A hot cup of tea for me!! But all I have is animal crackers for cookies....

I normally just drink regular Tetley decaf but I also enjoy Twinings early grey and english breakfast.

Myst

I go through kicks where I drink nothing but a certain type of tea.
I love the Republic of Tea and the Stash catalog is wonderful!

My old faithful favorites are:

Lipton with milk and sugar when I'm not feeling well
tazo chai
republic of tea blackberry sage
Stash fusion green & white
twinning's darjeerling

I love spiced chai. Does anyone know.....? I ask for decaf spiced chai but I had one shop tell me there is no decaf chai....that chai does not have caffeine. Is that true??

Good Earth Jasmine
Celestial Seasonings Nutcracker Sweet
Mint tea
Red Hibiscus tea

I really love Harney & Sons tea...I didn't know about them until I was at dinner at the Castle and ordered tea. The waiter was so nice and gave me a handful of different flavors from the tea box. :cloud9: (same teas they serve at Afternoon Tea at the GF) Anyway, now I'm addicted.

http://www.harney.com

Harney is my favorite too! I had it for the first time at Disney and 5 years later I'm still ordering 400 bags a year from their website. I've only had their Earl Grey, but I love any black tea. I need to order a sampler from them.

I am a big Tea drinker, I normally order from Stash and get the green Earl Grey, but I also keep a stash of Harney & Son Tencha.

I drink a cup of Sleepytime Extra every night....or Chamolie vanilla. There are several flavors that have been posted that I cant wait to try.

I'll second Good Earth Original!! Mmm, I love that stuff. We can't get it in the stores around here, though. :( Last year my FIL ordered about 10 boxes and I just realized today that I only have one tea bag left.

I also like Constant Comment. It's not as strong as the Good Earth though, but at least I can run to the store for it.

I drink mostly Twinings. My favorite is Ceylon tea. DH likes Tazo brand as well. By the way, if anyone knows where I can get Mariage Freres teas, please let me know. The only store I knew that carried their things closed, and I would like to get some Marco Polo teas. Not that I'm in any hurry. Now that I'm pregnant, I won't be able to drink tea until March. :(

Without a doubt... Constant Comment... it smells like Christmas and tastes so good! I also enjoy raspberry, peach, lemon and plain old Tetley as well. But my absolute favorite is the Constant Comment.

Bewley's tea makes this great green tea with apricot...YUM!

Another vote for Constant Comment!! :cool1: My mom always had it when I was growing up... mmmmm just the smell... I wonder if I've got any?

That Pear tea sounds wonderful! I'll have to look for it!

I'm really a coffee drinker - just plain ol' Folgers. But tea is comforting when I'm blue or feeling "puny"!!

I gave up tea the first time I started trying to get pregnant several years ago, but I do love it. I love the way it tastes and the way it smells. And I love the way it warms me up. Just thinking about it is about to make me fall off the wagon. :rotfl:

I drank mainly Stash and Twinings teas. I love the special collections from Stash. There was a Christmas blend that I really loved. I also really like blackcurrent tea from Twinings. For iced tea, nothing beats using 4 bags of plain black tea and 4 bags of a berry-flavored tea, like raspberry (when you use a 2 quart pitcher).

I love Plantation Mint tea - not sure if that is peppermint or a blend of other mint? Another favorite (I get at EPCOT) is Irish Breakfast tea. It is more mild than the English Breakfast even if you forget and leave the bag in too long. I also love Oregon Chai - Bobby Flay did how to make their Chai base once, I need to find that again and try it - it is coming up on that time of year that DH and I drink it by the gallon.

Oh - and at our World Market stores they have Oregon Chai's Ice Tea concentrate - YUMMY!
