Like people who are into coffee I'm really into Tea. I was just wondering what brand of Tea Disney World sells or serves. I usually drink Lipton but I don't mind tetley. Also are there any places that sell Speciality teas, like mint tea or green tea?

My last question is do most places that sell coffee also sell tea?

Thanks in advance for all your help!

Hot tea is not found as often as coffee at most places. The brand of tea I have seen sold the most is Twinnings. You can get it at Earl of Sandwich at DTD or I think they may serve it in the UK at Epcot. They have lots of different varieties at Earl. I am sure there are more places so maybe someone else will be able to help you!

I've ordered tea at plenty of restaurants at WDW - mainly because the coffee is gross. Lots of places bring you the little box full of different teas and you can pick the one you want.

Just wanted to tell you that the tea place that they just opened in Animal Kingdom - right on the way to Expediton Everest - has a bazillion teas! All different kinds! I didn't really have a chance to check it out fully and plan to on our August trip. You may be able to buy a small box, and carry the bags with you. Restuarants will always supply you with a cup of hot water.

You can also buy tea at the shop in England in Epcot.

Tea can be found many, many places. Nestea bags are easiest to come by, but you'll find a smattering of others other places.

Be sure to try the Mint Tea in Morocco. It's great. The tea stand near everest has some interesting things, too.

My favorite? The Peach Oolong Tea Schnapps Slushie at Epcot. Any drink that sounds slurry when you're sober has got to be good.:rolleyes1

I SOOOO wanted to try the tea stand at Animal Kingdom. It was chilly that morning and I could have used it but the line was long. They looked like they had some good selections.

Some of the stands throughout the parks may offer hot tea, but not many.

The regular restaurants will give you Twining's tea bags. Signature restaurants (like Citricos) will usually bring you a press pot of tea.

I am a huge tea lover and the mango iced tea at Wolfgang Puck Express is awesome! China has a new tea stand that is my favorite, the peach tea schnapps slushie is to die for. I always break the bank at the Twinnings tea shoppe...they have alot of items that you cannot buy in stores

I am a big tea drinker. Usually just plain black Lipton for breakfast - then a variety throughout the day. When we go to WDW, I usually take an electric tea kettle and a variety of my favorites for the mornings.

But, here are some of my favorites throughout the World:
AK - Royal Anandapur Tea Co. in Asia (THE BEST :cloud9: - lots of specialty teas and lattes - you won't be able to choose just one!)

EP - Lotus Blossum Cafe in China - Chinese & flavored teas - very good - hot and cold - also Bubble Tea :thumbsup2
Tangierine Cafe in Morocco - Mint Tea - Yummy :)
Tea Stand in China - Lots of frozen tea slushes, flavored and bottled teas, green tea ice cream
Tea Shop in UK - I always like to go early in the trip so I can buy some teas for mornings in my resort room. (Of course, you might just have to pick up a teapot or cup while you're there! ;))

DS - Nothing special, but I know you can get a cup of hot tea at ABC Commissary, Rosie's, BackLot Express and Starring Rolls. If you like Earl Grey they used to have it at Writer's Stop.

MK - Tomorrowland Noodle Station - Lots of Asian hot teas (love the mango!) Also a variety of iced and flavored green teas
Main St. Bakery has hot tea to go with your goodies
ToonTown Farmer's Market - I have gotten a nice cup of tea and a piece of fresh fruit for breakfast - pretty good!

I think most of the table service restaurants offer hot tea. It may not be on the menu, so just ask. If they don't, I often carry tea bags and ask for a cup of hot water.

Beware of the iced tea. Some places have fresh brewed (Yorkshire Co. Fish Shop for one) but many are instant Nestea. It can be as bad as the coffee. Ask before you order!

HTH! Have a great trip!

Wow thanks everyone for your input and help!

I actually already knew of the Animal Kingdom Tea place, infact it's one of the must dos when I go there. Seems like I could do a great tea around the world type thing at world showcase, I didn't think about that thanks for telling me of the world showcase countries and what teas they offer.

I've had Nestea before and I rather like it, not the best of teas but drinkable. I just wanted to know about teas in Disney World because like coffee drinkers, me without tea=Grumpy.

Anyone else have suggestions or anything to add please do!

Can't wait to go and try all the different teas and even buy some to bring home at the UK pavilion. I had a feeling they would have a tea store of some kind, having been to England myself. :)

Thanks again everyone!

The GF also has an afternoon tea.

We stayed at the GF in RPC last year, and they had the most fabulous tea that I have ever had in the lounge. If the afternoon tea uses the same, I am there! This tea was simply called "T" and I had the lavender Earl Grey. If I had know they would not have the same in AKL's CL, I would have stolen lots of bags (j/k) ! :duck:

The Grand Floridian has a very nice afternoon tea. Although I haven't done it myself, I have heard great things about it.

Piffle, Where at Epcot did you find the Peach Oolong Tea Schnapps Slushie?

I can 3rd? the GF afternoon tea.....

I had the Buckingham Palace and thought it was great! There are pics of it about 1/2 way down this page..... http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1169338

I ordered Eros tea. It's sensational. I read in another thread that the brand of tea served at the GF is Harney.

The menu can be found here....

Hours are 2:00-4:30. We made our ADR for 2:00. It was the perfect late lunch. Warning: Don't plan an early dinner. We had to cancel our ADR for dinner 'cause we just weren't hungry.

Most of the resort CS places have a choice of Twinnings available as well as brewed iced tea.

Overall, though, I have to say that in the U.S., the lack of decent tea is appalling--these coffee people really control everything. The Boston Tea Party was the first step in a long downhill slide for us tea drinkers, and so unfair. :headache:

I am looking forward to trying the spot in AK, though, which I haven't done yet.

We love the Earl Grey tea at the Rose & Crown. We would go to the pub and ask for two "Earl Grey" teas or course we are not drinkers so we felt out of place ordering them...however, the tea is the best!!
