TDM Acting Strangely?

Has anyone else used several magic pins in a row today that were all duds? (The magic runs out without finding anything.)

I have used quite a few of these pins over the past several weeks and this has never happened to me before. (I've pretty much used them in the same location, too; I haven't found other locations to make a difference in the percentage of wins.) I realize it could simply be chance, but I thought I'd better see if there is something unusual going on today.

I have had days where almost all are duds and others where all win something or the other...

I too think location has nothing to do with it- the prize is in the pin

I have done 6 TDM in a row and all duds with is very strange

Treasure Magic has been available in some quests or host games. Today it was in Fin's quest.

And yes, I have had a share of duds today so I am not going to use any more.

I had three duds and one win of 5,000 credits. I also got a Sword pin for both that went thru Peter Pan for the quest, and one actually won, which has never happened to me! I thought my luck had turned around, so I wanted to try more TDM, but that was the fourth time I got DCed, and am just now getting back on, so I'm not feeling particularly lucky anymore. So to answer your question, I have no idea.

I, too, am having the problem of dud-TDM pins.

What's the point of the pin if they are going to change the winning percentage so drastically...?

Personally, I believe it's the lag causing all the duds this weekend. You can't walk continuously when the "freeze" keeps happening... you end up walking in place and getting nothing.

If you still have any TDM's, I would suggest holding onto them until tomorrow when everyone is finished with these movie quests...

I partially agree with your assessment, Pink, but I haven't used any TDM in the last two days - my duds have been over the last week or so. Poor GoofyGeggy hasn't won anything from TDM for a long time.

I got a couple things last month but this month I haven't gotten anything
other than a stupid sorcerer hat rofl. I hate that this pin has like 2% chance
of winning and 98% of being a dud it takes away the purpose of the pin.

The last quest with TDM I did I got 13 duds in a row... and I stopped using TDM on my mules
because it was pointless...

I used a bunch of TDM yesterday, and I did notice a lot of duds. And then I won a Buried in Treasure and two Sorcerer Mickey hats. No credits in any of them.

I agree about the lag. You do not have to walk continuosly, however. You can sit in a chair and use it and it works the same.

In terms of whether or not we get something from treasure detector, vmk never did guarantee that we would get anything from it, right?

since they started giving out TDM pins i've gotten about 4 tiki fountains all the rest have been duds. i've probably had/used 20-30 of them, the odds are Not in my favor to find anything.

I used about five or six TDM yesterday, and won prizes with all of them (a couple buried in treasure, a fountain, and some credits).

How are you guys getting hold of so many TDM pins?! I've only managed to get hold of two since they started giving them out (both duds, unfortunately), but then I guess the time-difference means I miss most of the weekday activities. Ah well, it's a cool looking magic (at the risk of being controversial, I think it looks as cool as inferno! *Hides* please don't hurt me ), and the quests I've won them from have been fairly easy, so who am I to complain?!
