TCD Transfers

Hi does anyone know how the tcd transfers work? We have them booked for our trip in April but just wondered if they drop you at your hotel? We're staying at the CBR.

I'm assuming that you mean the transfer from the airport to your hotel? TCD will send you a voucher with your tickets and once you've gone through customs and collected your luggage you'll make your way out of the airport where you'll be met by TCD reps - you can't miss them, there's hundreds! You swap your voucher and get details of your return trip and just walk round the corner to a queue of coaches going to various destination, easy! The drivers are nice and friendly and don't even complain on the way back when they've got to lump suitcases around five times heavier than on the way in!

Our pickup with TCD went pretty badly. Although they are more used to picking up from Sanford, we flew with Virgin, landed in MCO and had the rest of the holiday package through TCD. It took 2 1/2 hrs to clear customs and collect our baggage so by that time the taxi had gone. We rang up and this time I have to say they did us proud. They sent a vintage stretch limo to collect us!
When returning you have to ring 24 hours in advance to confirm details for your pick up. Im afraid once again with us they messed up - this time they sent the taxi to the wrong hotel! We only just made it to the airport in time.
As said before, you present the voucher sent by TCD to the taxi driver on both legs of your journey.I agree, the drivers are very polite and the cars are spotless.
