TCD Seating Plans - Sunshine First

hi

when we traveled last year on a 747 the seating was as follows

a1 a2 a3 a4
b1 b2 b3 b4
c1 c2 c3 c4
d1 d2 d3 d4
e1 e2 e3 e4
f1 f2 f3 f4
g5g6

thats with a1 being in the nose....they do serev food from the front on the way out so g5 has little choice but it does reverse on the way back from usa

hope this helps

I don't think the "letters" are quite like this.

1a and 1b then something like 1 g and 1h (no c,d,e,f).

Anyway, the seat are in twos by the windows with one pair in the middle at the back of the cabin. No dedicated toilets, so it's quite a walk back to the loo.

Enjoy:thumbsup2

Yes if there are only two seats by the window they ar A & C one side and then H & K the other with the middle seats missing E &/or F if necessary. According to UK-air.net TCD do not release their seating plans.

Claire ;)

That's pretty much it, but just be careful.

Although TCD call this section "First Class", it is nothing like other airline's "first class". Decent leg room, priority seating and baggage, a few little extras, that's about it. Lack of in-flight entertainment and toilet facilities does let it down somewhat!

Value for money? I guess so, but just don't be expecting luxury travel. For more info, see my previous thread on this subject.

We flew Sunshine First in January, and will (probably) do so again, but I am not a great fan other than for the price factor. You get what you pay for, so Sunshine First represents decent value for money, but, in my view, no more than that.

:)

Revtel - I'd agree with that, I enjoyed the larger seats / first on & off etc But for the price I wasn't expecting any more that than so i wasn't disappointed. :)

When I flew a year or so ago there were two loo's right behind Sunshine First? Where did you fly from? I'm just wondering if they've changed it or if it's airport route specific - we flew from Manchester.

Cheers Paul

What sort of prices do they sell it at? Am curious how it compares, price-wise, to WT+/PE etc...

Hi, Paul.

We flew from Manchester this January on the TCD branded 747. The nearest loos are at the back of the front section of the economy cabin (if that makes any sense).:confused3
