We booked TCD's pre-seating this year for our flights so just a quick warning to anyone planning on doing it. For our outbound flight we were seated here:
- - - [isle] - x x - [isle] - - -
Not good as I'm scared of flying and much prefer being near a window where I can see what's going on, plus we were trapped on both sides and both people fell asleep! On our return flight we were also scheduled to be in those seats but we asked if we could move as we went to TCD's Freetime check in. The guy said he wasn't supposed to move people with pre-booked seats but managed to move us anyway. We ended up in a two person row right at the back by a window which was fantastic.
It seems like the priority seating for 2 people groups is those two middle seats. This may be mentioned in the gumph they send out but I never spotted it or it might have just been coincidence. Just thought some people might like to know if it's important they be near a window. No idea what happens for groups of more than 2 though.
