TCD - Freetime check in?

Hi, was wondering if someone could clear up a query on Freetime Check in with TCD.
To prebook it here in the UK, it costs £5 pp, but I'm sure I read somewhere, that if you book it when you're there, it costs $5 pp.
Can anyone clear this up? Rather wait if it cheaper to do when we're there.

Itd $10 in resort if you book before the day and $15 pp if you just turn up on the day.

We used this last year, but didn't pay for it until we were out there.

I am sure we paid $5 per person, so this worked out cheaper, than pre-booking in the UK.

All we did was visit the TCD centre at LBV outlets a couple of days before and booked it then. THen on your final day you go back to LBV outlets and the check-in is at the back of the toy shop there.

Brilliant, as you then don't have to worry about leaving your luggage in the car all day, and you don't have to join the humungous queues at Sanford airport.

If we were flying with TCD this year, would definitely use it again.

Last year we paid $5pp and booked it about 10 days before we came home and will def' do the same this year, it was great

Hi, if I remember rightly, they are on the 535, just south of LBV, and just north from the 192.

That's right - as you pass DTD on your left, turn right at the end of Hotel Plaza Boulevard onto the 535 and then just follow this road for about (4?????) miles and it is on the left, not long before you get to the WalMart on the right.

The price is now definatly $10 pp in resort. It went up about Easter time - the same time that they brought in that you could prebook it in the UK for £5pp

hi, we got the freetime check in for £5 each, we added onto our booking, it cheaper to book it before you go. It is fantastic, our last day was so chilled out it was amazing and all for a fiver!

For all the people that have already used this,can i ask what time you got back to the airport for?Can you leave it as late as an hour before your flight?Just wondered seeing as you are already checked in.

I think you still have to be at the airport 3 hrs before so you can return your hire car.
Is this correct...its what it says in my paperwork. Bit of a pain to have to hang around the airport for 3 hrs.

This was my experience, but by no means common...but I just thought I'd warn you what can happen...................

We turned up at the airport early to return the hire car having paid to use the free time checkin ...NO queue at all at the TCD desk ....but 1 hour queue at immigration


True, this is not the fault of TCD but we really felt we had wasted our money - the way it is sold to you is as if you just walk into the departures lounge..........not necessarily so !

As to what to do if you have to be at the airport early to return the car - book the Guest Lounge - definitely worth the money
