i have been trying to get through to tcd tonight as not received tickets but travel in 11 days time. i waited in the queue for 45 minutes and then gave up. this is not the first time as previously waited 35 minutes. i'm a team leader in a call centre and if our call queue was this high people would firstly be getting sacked for not allocating resources to the times when they are needed, and then people would get recruited to get the q time and call abandonent rate down. sky had a reputation many years ago under their md that if a call was not answered after one ring, people got the chop: bit extreme maybe but seeing as tcd customer services managers tend to frequent this site, maybe they could address the poor after sales service that i and many others have experienced.
