Taylor Swift Thread [Once upon a time, I believe it was a Tuesday...]

I enjoy classic rock as well, but mostly the male side of it.
I don't know, I really just don't listen to songs by females, it's kind of weird.
Oh I listen to the male vocalists and bands. I love Led Zepplelin, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Who.

Me neither actually. There are only a few females that I actually have entire CDs of theirs on my ipod. Taylor Swift is one of them.

She may not be the best singer out there, but she's definitely extremely talented in song writing.

Taylor is the only female that I have an entire album of.
I have a couple of Jewel songs, Christina Aguilera...
But really, girls just aren't my thing lol.

Taylor is lightyears away from being perfect, or even being ranked in the same class as many well established artists. Taylor can't even compete with Martina McBride, Celine Dion, Pat Benatar, Bonnie Tyler or many others. She is good, and her songwriting is phenomonal for someone so young.

Oh jeez.
Celine xD
I don't think I like any of her songs. But the one in the Air Canada commercial years ago was pretty catchy. You And I is what it's called I think.

The only female vocalist that I have all ther stuff is The Jefferson Airplane with Grace Slick. I do have a lot of Fleetwood Mac with Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie, but they also have a male vocalist. I really think the best ever male vocalist of all time is Freddie Mercury. His voice was amazing.

I really like Jewel and some Alanis.

Celine Dion has such a powerful voice, not many compare to her, but like you said Taylor is an amzing songwriter which is a huge talent in itself.

I'm a sucker for a rich soprano voice. Like Allison Kraus, I can't name hardly any of her songs by name, but I love the sound of her voice. It's beautiful.

Don't Stop by Fleetwood Mac = ♥

And Freddie was pretty awesome. I think Jamie would attack me if I said otherwise, but really, Queen is great.

I really like You Were Meant for Me by Jewel. there's a song that's played a lot on the country station here, but I can't remember the name.

And as a last note, Jewel has one of the best voices. EVER. Her country album was lackluster, but her vocal performance is simply amazing.

That song by Fleetwood Mac is awesome. My favorite is Oh Daddy-sung by Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac. Queen is awesome.

Jewel does have a great voice.

I don't even know what a Fleetwood Mac is...
They are a awesome band that started out in the 1970's with Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, Christine McVie, Mick Fleetwood, and John McVie. They had one of the All Time best albums in the late 70's in Rumours.

Oh the 70s...I didn't like the 70s music, I've always been more partial toward the 80s.

Rock me, Amadeus! XD

I don't even pay attention to what decade the music is from.
But basically anything from the 70's or 80's is pretty freaking good.

The 70s was hit or miss for me, but the 80s were amazing. The 80s made up for the 60s. :scared:

I enjoyed the 60's to an extent.
But not a lot.

There was like a best songs from the 80's thing on muchmoremusic one day, and I loved basically every song on there.

I surprised that no crazed JB fan has come in to tell me off about the thread title....

I watched a thing on VH1 about the 100 best 80s songs. It was pretty interesting.
