How easy is it to get a cab to and from Disneyland from the Sheraton Park hotel? I am mainly concerned about the leaving disneyland to get back to the hotel. Just if we have one of those emergency meltdown 'You need a nap' moments in the park I want to be able to get back to our room as soon as possible.

Cabs used to be found at the front of the park, where the shuttles drop off, but now the cab area has been moved to DTD. If you take the monorail to DTD and go right from there you should find them.....I think that's where they are now.

Considering pixiewing's info, it'll probably be faster just to walk back to Sheraton Park.

Another option is to take the shuttle to the Toy Story parking lot, then walk from there to the Sheraton. The buses are usually lined up ready to load and rarely crowded in the middle of the day. And they are air-conditioned!

It probably takes longer to use the shuttle than to walk, but when you are trying to manage melt-down, this might be a better choice. -- Suzanne

I don't want to be near anyone else if my kids meltdown. I know we have all been there and done that, but that doesn't mean I need to be "that family":)

I will take this suggestion though as a good option for non meltdown scenarios.
