Taxis For 9??

I am planning a trip for next summer. As of now, there will be nine of us. We dont need a car or anything at Disney,but was wondering if there were taxis or rental cars for nine people. I kind of wanted to take them to Busch Gardens,but I think the transportation is going to be an issue.Anybody know if we will be able to get a taxi for nine to take us to Universal and Sea World??

We've used Murray Hill Transportation serveral times to get from MCO to our resort. I'm sure they probably offer a service from hotels to other various attractions. Their vans hold up to 10 passengers. The van taxis would probably be able to handle a group of 9 as well. We had to call 2 van taxis for our party of 13 and didn't have any problem. We just called the front desk and they either set it up for us or gave me the phone # to call to set it up, I can't remember exactly.

I would call mears taxi and find out if they have a van that will seat 9 passengers.

For Busch Gardens the fare will be close to $200 each way.

Universal will be about $40 each way.

Sea World will be about $30 each way.

The taxi vans can hold up to 7 passengers. You would need a taxi van + a taxi sedan for 9, at double the fare.

You might check the sticky thread at the top of this page about transportation to Universal; I think there is some info in there about companies that charter 13-passenger vans.

Mears offers a shuttle to Busch Gardens for $10 a person (free with a BG-Sea World combo ticket), but it does not pick up on WDW property. The nearest pick-up point is at the Publix near Premium Outlets, across I-4 from DTD. Bear in mind that you would get somewhat less than a full day at BG because of the travel time.
