Taxis and OKW

Can anyone tell me if taxis can pick people up from inside OKW resort and, if so, how close to your villa can they come? We're not being lazy , honestly, but my friend will have to have kidney dialysis several times while we are there, and as we don't want to rent a car, mainly for the safety of you good people, we will be using taxis instead. Obviously the nearer it can get the better, especially when coming 'home' as she is usually very tired, but I suppose it all depends on what security will allow.

I believe that once security lets the taxi in, the driver is free to go to any building on property. I know that friends who have come to pick me up, and also Tiffany Town Car, were able to come right to my building.

LOL! Bexx, too funny. If you go to the outdoor bellstand at OKW and explain your situation, they may be able to provide you with extra help as well. My brother mentioned needing a cab to the airport. A day or two later when he needed it, they sent a cab driver known to the folks at OKW. My brother's highlight of the trip was the ride to the airport. He reallly bonded with the driver.

What I'm saying is, they may be able to send your drivers that they know will be helpful in your situation. If by some chance security concerns change and they wouldn't let the driver go to your unit, I bet bell services would drive you back to your room in one of the carts. Let them know your needs and they may be very helpful.

We've never had a problem getting taxis to and from our unit at OKW.
