Steve, we never have a car when we're staying on-site and usually there are quite a few of us traveling together (sometimes 12 of us). We always ask for a "van cab" to be called (and sometimes we request "two" of them because there are so many of us). Disney and their taxi services have always been able to accommodate us. Sometimes the wait is very short and sometimes it has taken 15 to 20 minutes (it depends upon the time of day & how busy the resort is). If we need to be somewhere at a specific time, we call Bell Services ahead of time and request a van cab for such-and-such time. We have never been disappointed.
