Taxi?

When taking a taxi around the world do they typically take credit cards or do I need to bring extra cash? Also, if I wanted a taxi from one resort to another are they typically available or do I need to call and make arrangments? Thanks, this is our first time not driving to WDW, so I'm unsure if we'll use a taxi or not.

Most will take credit cards now, but not all. Double check before leaving your hotel or be prepared to have cash on hand just in case.

Most of the time there are cabs around your resort. If you are going at odd hours or if you absolutely need a cab at a specific time. Make arrangements at least 20 minutes in advance. Bell services can call a cab for you.

Is there a MAX price to travel within Disney Property? Say from one edge of the grounds to the other?

Taxi drivers loathe taking credit for short haul fares. The fee to CC company comes out of their share. It also takes time to run the card. Your fares around WDW shouldn't be more than $20. I would be prepared to pay cash. Have a stash of small bills so you can pay and exit quickly when you get to your destination.
