Anyone know approx. how much a taxi from Riverside PO to Fort Wilderness would be? Also, any problem getting taxi from HDDR? or just do the boat to MK & catch a bus back to resort? Traveling with another couple & thought it would be easiest to get there via taxi - we don't rent a car - happy enough with the bus but is a little complicated to get to HDDR. Thanks -

We used the bus system and had no problem. Take bus to FW, then take any of the "outpost" busses (purple orange or yellow) to Pioneer Hall, in the back of FW. The busses are constantly running.

You could take a taxi to the parking lot area for Pioneer Hall. Then, you have to take a bus from the parking lot area to Pioneer Hall. However, after the show, when you take the bus back to the parking lot, I don't know how you would get a taxi, unless you've pre-ordered one to meet you there at a specific time. There are no taxis at that location. Perhaps there are some at the main check-in area of Fort Wilderness, but there are none sitting at the parking lot for Pioneer Hall.

Take the bus to MK and a boat to Fort Wilderness (not the pier to the WL). The boat will drop you off near the general store at the campground. The HDDR is right there. after the show, they will have buses waiting to take you back to your resort inthe campground area or you could take the bus back to the MK for EMH.:goodvibes

we had a 9:30 seating last time, and there were buses waiting for each resort outside to bring us back, since the MK was closed when we got out and the buses there weren't running. There were also a lineup of taxis, but I wasn't sure if those had been pre-ordered by folks inside, or if they had come in anticipation of getting people to want them.

We are going to an earlier show this time, and we plan to take the bus to MK, boat to FW to get there. Then we were thinking getting a cab back, since we will be at Boardwalk and want to hit JellyRolls after (it was going to be AC, but *weep* that is no longer the plan)
