taxi to DLP

We are dropping a rental car at Europcar in St. Thibault des Vignes and need to get to Sequoia Lodge on a Sunday. Any idea on the best (cheapest) way to do this? We were going to rent at Hertz and drop at DLP but they wanted 189 euros for 2 days. Europcar is only 97 euros.

It's a dead zone over there and even worse on the weekend so it might be easier to look at going direct to DLP or Val d'Europe.

The Europcar location is in the middle of an industrial estate and the agency is closed on a Sunday so they can't even call you a taxi.

It's a 3km walk to the railway station where you could find a taxi.

You could look at Ada, they have an agence in the Magic Circus hotel and that's very close to DLP. You could use the shuttle bus I'd think without too much bother

thanks for the heads up about Europcar. Our problem is we are picking up a car in Caen on Saturday, touring Normandy and dropping it off at DLP on Sunday. I checked the ADA website and I dont think they allow that and I'd have to keep the car until Monday. So it looks like the best bet is to pay Hertz for the convenience of dropping off at DLP.

Thanks again for the tip about the taxi---wouldn't want to be stranded there on a Sunday evening.

I recently used EZY Shuttle for transportation from the Disneyland Hotel to CDG Airport, and they were fantastic. You could pre-arrange a pickup with them for a particular time and place, and they will give you a quote for what the service would be. I don't know how pricey it would be to use them for this purpose, but they were great.

I know it seems like a lot for the difference but it will be so much easier for you going with Hertz or another firm that goes direct into Chessy/Val d'Europe

If it had been a weekday the agency could have called you one but on a Sunday and out there you are a bit stuck.
