Taxi RT from AKL-Super Target/similar

Anyone know taxi fares pretty well? I think we are taking ME in from the airport and were considering Garden Grocer, but they don't have some of the refrigerated products I want. Plus, with delivery fees and upcharges, it may be more cost effective to run to a store while the rest of the family checks out the pool the first night.

Any idea how much this RT might run me? Will the taxi wait for me while I dash in?

There is a Super Target and a Publix approx 3 1/2 miles from AKL Jambo on Rt 192. A taxi to and from either should be around $12 to $14 plus tip.
There is also a Winn Dixie about a mile closer which could save you a couple of bucks each way if you are not hung up on Super Target.

Have you looked at WeGoShop? They will do a more custom shop for you, so you can probably get exactly what you want. After factoring in the taxi (and tip) it's probably going to be a wash cost-wise between WeGoShop delivery and going yourself.

If that's the store I'm thinking of (Formosa Gardens), although it looks like a Winn-Dixie and is run by the same company, it doesn't have the Winn-Dixie name on it. That allows them to get away with charging inflated prices, and not honoring W-D ad prices.
